Thanks although it was more of an H. G. Wells homage.

If I wanted to introduce MarK Ultra and The Martian to New York is their way I should go about this?

Ah! I fall on my film/literature reference sword in shame! Of course it is H.G. Wells... or possibly a reference to the famous Orson Welles radio play.

Out of curiosity, is 'Primordial Luxa' a Farscape reference?

In V2 she did sing the Ghostbusters theme song in the back of a plane... and drove Ecto-1 to a raid on an enemy stroghold.

No Luxa is just a name I read in a novel when I was young and it kinda just stuck.
Primordial prefers to which version they are, Luxa has contact with parallel universes of there nation but the one I play most often is the Primordial One.
My citizens have nothing in common with the Farscape Luxan's.
They are more like a nation of sadomasochist-witches & warlocks who worship Cthulhu.

So, I just noticed a rather glaring discrepancy. I'm gonna list two scenarios, and you can rell me if they're familiar:
Scenario 1
Random guy walks in, "Help! A hitman who has most likely killed several dozen people is trying to kill me!"

White Knights defend this obviously distressed man.

20 minutes later
The hitman is now sleeping inside with everyone else due to a random act of stupidity in trusting a mass murderer, the police were turned away and a young man refuses to stand for this and threatens to inform the authorities of this ruse.

Scenario 2
A young man uses a fire extinguisher on an obviously burning and prostrate mutant, seeing another prostrate mutant he decides to make sure she isn't combusting as well, as this is happening he is instructed to keep mutant #2 awake.

White Knights: "Yo, wtf bro?"

The young man leaves and comes back momentarily with an odd helmet and an airhorn.

Young man honks horn, resulting in another concussion for mutant #2

Young Man: "whoops..."

5 minutes later
The young man is in the back of a police cruiser, has both shoulders #rekt and is threatened with manslaughter, assault, battery, and death via Slavic assassin.

In the end the hitman was given aid by said Slavic assassin, and both speak of killing the young man, and for some reason the hitman's target is now nowhere to be found. While the young man was forced to deal with some bullshit, and listed as a villain in the vault.*

*Honestly, what the fuck is with this?

On the subject of new threads/Inthread arcs, I feel we should have a misc US Cities thread.
If we're going to limit people to the US, we should have a misc thread in case they want to rp in diffrent cities besides the ones we're currently limiting them to.

Though at some point we should allow some type of freedom incase people want to rp in places other than the US, since other RPs have the freeformness of allowing RPers to rp in diffrent parts of the world of they want, and we're currently limiting them to only a few cities.

I really like limiting people to cities.
I tried an RP where people could jump all over the world and it ended badly because most people never talked or interacted with eachother.
For a forum RP I think the city set up is pretty great the trick is to really flush out the city and make it feel like a much larger place due to all of the detail.

On a related note who would be interested in a totally fictional US city? One where we could make up all sorts of fun crazy things?
I have a lot of text lying around from a city called Horizon City that fell through, if that appeals to anyone?

Super Identity: Dr. Schubecher
Real Identity: Alexadrov Schubecher
Is the true identity public knowledge or private? Public
Hero, Villain, or Neutral? Villain
Age: 62
Gender: Male
Appearance:
Image
Group Affiliation: The Unity (leader, formerly, but trying to rebuild)
D&D Alignment: Neutral Evil
Powers: Genius Intellect, Leadership, deception
Equipment: Lab, pistol,
Power Origin: Born With it
Weaknesses: He is still human and is extremely cocky which is his downfall many times
Personality: Cocky, Feeling he is above everyone, however calm and calculating
Background:He was born and raised in Russia. He was extremely smart and was extremely rich. So he was able to get as much information as possible. He created an organization called the Unity. He originally used it to create new technology, however he slowly geared it toward taking over the world. He saw all the problems the government caused in Russia and knew all countries had problems like Russia. He thought that he could do better so he made weapons and an army and prepared for years on how to take over the world. He recruited Wisp to his cause and eventually they grew into a very large secret organization with bases all over the world. Unfortunately one of their experiments was Switch who slowly dismantled the entire organization over a course of 27 years. He now however is rebuilding and is soon planning on recruiting both Wisp and Switch for his new organization, calling it Unity like his last organization.

That is one interpretation of events. I would have described them more like this;

Scenario 1
Random guy walks in, "Help! A hitman who has most likely killed several dozen people is trying to kill me!"

White Knights defend this obviously distressed man.

20 minutes later
The hitman is now sleeping inside with everyone else due to a random act of stupidity in trusting a mass murderer, the police were turned away and a young man refuses to stand for this and threatens to inform the authorities of this ruse. the fact that he is heavily injured and has said he will turn his life around to another former assassin who wants to believe he can as that will prove she can also.

Scenario 2
A young man uses a fire extinguisher on an obviously burning and prostrate mutant, seeing another prostrate mutant he decides to make sure she isn't combusting as well, as this is happening he is instructed to keep mutant #2 awake.

White Knights: "Yo, wtf bro?" that is dangerous."

Young man: No it isn't I'm a medical genius.

The young man leaves and comes back momentarily with an odd helmet and an airhorn.

Young man honks horn in ear of mutant #2 after having been told to stop bullying her, seemingly to try to assert his dominance over White Knight, resulting in another concussion for mutant #2 which is an extremely serious, potentially deadly and entirely predictable outcome.

While the young man was forced to deal with some bullshit, murdered his parole officer and stole his car and is now listed as a villain in the vault.*

Now having said that I don't particularly care what section he is under. If you want him moved back to heroes that is fine. I had assumed with the murder, car theft, internal monologues about being a psychopath etc that you weren't planning to RP him as a hero anymore.

Not gonna Sugarcoat My Answer.
Your Character is a Car thieving, Bullying, Murderer.

Compare him to the stature and expectations of "Heroes" and tell me then why he was moved to the Villain spot.

I..Don't remember writing any psychopathic monologues... Unless some internal monologues I wrote were misconstrued as psychopathic... in which case I should probably see about getting checked.

As for the fire extinguisher thing, MOST types of fire extinguishers are safe to use on people/animals, unless they just inhale a lungfull of it's contents. At best they'll feel abnormally cold / get frostbite, at worst they'll suffer pulmonary problems for a good while (Unless it's lye based but those are usually used in house fires (I think they may be illegal now but idk).)

he's right about the lye part. As for the effects, depends on the system used. Class A (water) might actual cause steam burns. class BB and K are safe, C you just have to worry about asphyxiation (compressed CO2 after all) but that requires holding the nozzle to their face the entire time, Type D is most defiantly not Safe.

Hydra, quick question. Is Alice/Not-Alice, still holding the piano wire?
I'd also like to point out that said robot is invisible.
