1850: Hetalia Divergences(IC)

Postby The Greater Dutch Republic » Thu Sep 10, 2015 1:24 pm

1850: Hetalia Divergences:
OOC

So, me and a bunch of other people play an AH RP called 1850: Alternate Divergences, made and OPed by the wonderful and talented Oscalantine, credit where credit is due. One day, I made the Familia Romana chart that will be seen below, and the thread exploded with ideas for a Hetalia RP based off of the characters, living and dead, from 1850: Alternate Divergences. Credits to Wasp Town, Lenyo, Old Tyrannia, Oscalantine, Tracian Empire, and everyone else for shaping the idea for this. So, on to the background. Here's a rough outline of everything, try to keep up, because this is confusing. So, Rome is the father to Cambria, France, Brittany, Italia, and Taurica, although all of his children hate him with the exception of Taurica, who loves him. He is also partly responsible for the creation of the Visigoths, Austrasia, Belgium, and Israel. Korea, The Golden Khanate, and the Cheng Dynasty are all the creation of the Mongol Horde, making them siblings, and they all have a love-hate relationship with their cousin across the sea, Japan. Russia kinda sits by itself all lonely and stuff. The American Commonwealth is the child of Cambria, Louisiana is the child of France, the Argentine Republic is the child of the Netherlands, The Greater Commonwealth of Saxahvall(India), Courland(Baltica), and the Greater Nordic Union are the children of the Vikings, and Brazil is the child of Portugal, who is dead and now part of the Visigoths. The Aztek Ascendancy and Californian Confederation are first generations, sharing seats with Rome and Japan. STTS(Thailand) is basically a mutated mish mash of multiple cultures. And that's all I can think of right now.

The Familia Romana:
Papa Rome
Brother Italia
Sister France
Sister Brittany
Uncle Visgoths
Brother Cambria
Cousin Belgium
Cousin Austrasia
Brother Taurica
Uncle Israel

Accepted:
Brittany- Greater Dutch Republic
France- Lenyo
Roma- Tracian Empire
Cheng Dynasty- Western Imperial Union
Korea/Chuk-Jae Do- Oscalantine
Greater Hansa Federation- Second Helghan Empire
Italia(Papal States and Christendom)- Eurasian Hegemony
Serbia- Serbatajin Empire

Reserved:
Japan- Old Tyrannia
Visigoths- Wasp Town

Rome was just sitting on his golden throne inside the Great Palace, The palace was big, shiny, and filled with guards and servants, but it was actually very empty. The provinces were mostly staying in their rooms, and the few children that were still staying with him where just too few to fill in the gap. This is why Rome always felt lonely.

The brown haired nation-being was now looking at an old map of Europe, showing the Imperium Romanum as it was during Augustus. Those were some good times, when he was the absolute ruler of the Mediterranean.

Still looking at the map, Rome started to eat some grapes. He had a Senate meeting in a few hours. The Senate was always so annoying, even in the times of the Roman Republic. Sighing, Rome started to speak with one of the guards.

"I know, I'll make my children foederati. They can't refuse the offer.", Rome said to the guard. The guard of course, answered quickly.
"But sir, your last foederati backstabbed you." Rome laughed."Come on, they're my children, they won't backstab me." The guard signed and remained for a moment before talking.
"But sir, they already backstabbed you."

Rome remained silent for a couple of minutes, still looking at the map."Yeah, you are right.", he said, as he continued to just stay there.

Christiano lifted the barbell again and again. His headphones were on but they played a bible reading alternating with hymnals. As he worked out his mind thought about his strength. He remembered being a little child living with papa rome. He had grown up as the eldest of romes children and had idolized him for most of his life. But when Rome grew weak and took to the devil's elixir he couldn't be around him anymore. Together with his brothers and sisters Christiano had pushed him out of West Europe Way.

He had worked hard since then to be friendly with his siblings and most of all to become stronger than his father had been. He looked at a map on the wall. It showed the Kingdom of Christendom it spread along the east coast of norther africa, the western coast of arabia, egypt, ethiopia, Italy, switzerland, Sicily, Malta, and west crete.

He smiled at it soon he would be bigger and stronger than his papa had ever been. After his workout he showered and got dressed. He walked to his neighbor France's house, the oldest of his younger sisters.

Brittany peeked through the window, seeing Christiano walking down the street towards her home. Closing the curtains, she whipped downstairs, a bit to fast. She whacked into the wall opposite of the stairs, hitting her face. "Oh nuts" she said as she staggered to the medicine cabinet, managing to get a band-aid over the cut on her nose. "Note to self, remind Sis to fix the sharp parts of the wall". She walked out the door, then ran towards Chris at full speed. Christiano was her second favorite sibling(after her sister) because he never missed her Football(soccer) games and always made sure to check up on her constantly. He also was a frequent trader in her stores, and as thanks sometimes she stopped by his business in Sub-Sahara Street. She kept running at Chris, and something occurred to her. She was going to have to stop. This thought occured to her as she plowed into Chris' stomach at full speed.

Serbia was cleaning up some pictures for Rome, but as he ended with his job, he returned to room. In his room he was looking out of the window and getting memories of old life. He takes his accordion and begins playing some old Serbian songs. He begins writing letter for his big brother Russia (i don't know why didn't i said that Russia was my brother but mehh... i hope it's ok).

After he was done with letter he goes back to accordion and begins playing again to relax.

The two crashed to the ground causing Chris to laugh.

"Nice to see you too Brit."

He helped her to her feet and gingerly tapped her on her nose.

"What happened here?"

"Hmm" He patted her on the head and put his arm around her shoulder.

"Lets go see what France is up to. I'm sure she would be more than happy to go for a walk. How about you?"

He led the way back the direction Brit had come from and waited for her to answer.

France walked by with her German Shepherd, as she did every morning. "Brittany, what happened? Your head! Was there a fight?"

The dog, Sédition, leaps up and down happily. France says, "I'll fix the door tonight. Let's visit Serbia. I haven't seen him in... uhm... a long time. When did you last see your cousin, Brittany?"

From some strange reasons, Provincia Serbiae acted strange lately. Still, Rome had no time for that. He had something more important to do. Something far more important. Something extremely glorious.

"Ita. I want a big column right in front of the palace.", the brown haired man said to one of the architects. Rome was wearing his usual fancy dark purple uniform, and he was staying in front of the palace, speaking with a group of architects and workers.
"On top of the column, I want the Imperial Eagle, big and golden. Ita, ita. Surrounding the column I want big statues representing ancient Legionnaires on one side, and modern Imperial soldiers on the other. And I want "Gloriam Romae" written big on the column."

Rome continued to speak with the architects, pretty exited. He always loved to build monuments and stuff, and this was going to be a really glorious monument.

Since Serbia is under Rome's control, he doesn't have that many visitors so hes pretty lonley, he keeps writing letters to his brothers and cousins because that's the only thing he can do to communicate with his family. Seeing Rome is quite suspisious of Serbia, Serbia tries not to communicate with him that much so he doesn't find out of what is Serbia planning.

Parvati sat in her garden, alone. All around her were beautiful trees, tall shafts of bamboo, and vibrant flowers. Each one added a little something, and she enjoyed that much. She had, in fact, just recently finished planting a few seeds to bring further beauty to the tranquil garden. After putting the dirt back in place, her hands protected from the dirt and labor by simple rubber gloves, the same sort someone would use when washing the dishes. They suited the task well, as water was a pretty common thing to deal with when gardening, and just like Parvati was doing at the moment, running them through the pond for a few seconds would get them perfectly clean.

Admiring the pond, with a few fish flinging themselves around in it like a mosh pit, Parvati took a seat, taking in a deep breath to enjoy the various smells, as well as the general calm of the space. This, she felt, was her natural environment. She patted her jeans off for a moment before crossing her legs and taking another deep breath. As she exhaled, her rubber boots rubbed against each other, squeaking, and sort of ruining the moment. It was, however, little moments like that which made life enjoyable, no? The random little things that happen, the silly and unexpected.

While she could just sit there and meditate, wearing dirty gardening clothes, it was not desired at the moment. After a few more minutes, she got up and went back into her palace. Her dirty clothes were quickly swapped for a simple sari, the gloves tossed onto a table and the boots tossed aside in favor of bare feet. The palace was kept clean enough, so it didn't particularly bother her. While at her closet, she tried out a few different outfits, seeing what worked and what did not. After all, she wouldn't want to look silly in front of Europeans. It would be embarrassing. It was this, above all else, that drove her to actually care a greater deal of her attire, which otherwise would not be of particular concern.

After digging through everything, she tossed on a leather jacket, made from kidskin, rather than cow, and grabbed a magazine, taking a seat and going through it without particular care. With this, she kept up with the world just a bit better, and it was one of the better activities one could do while home alone. Of course, being alone did not bother her. The isolation had long been experienced, and she did not mind at all. So, she enjoyed her time alone, mostly careless and apathetic to the outside as far as the moment was concerned.
