Originally from Tokyo, Homura was confined to Mitakihara Hospital for most of her life and rarely could interact with anyone besides her parents, who were abroad, and the nurses and doctors attending to her.
All those years in the hospital paid off one day.
The scar in her heart was still present but she had grown strong enough not to need medical attention 24/7. The girl who spent most of her life around medical equipment had a hard time-making friends.
Then she was Kissed by the Witch of Art, Izabel.
She was saved by a pair of Magical Girls. One was a Veteran, and the other a newbie.
A month passed and they both died against the Stage-Construction Witch, Walpurgisnacht.
Homura made a Wish.
It was the worst mistake of her life.
Powers and Abilities:
No Longer Human: Magical Girl bodies are all around better than a human's in all aspects but the ones that include dying. They can perform Magic such as Enchantment, Healing, Hammerspace, Double Jumps, Extreme Acrobatics, Weapon Creation, and Magical Barriers and Bolts, magic and skills common to all Magical Girls, in addition to the one granted by their wish.
A Serpent Eating It's Own Tail: Time Magic. Homura can stop time for one month as long as she has enough Grief Seeds. It's very Grief intensive and prolonged exposure to the unprepared can lead to madness. Past a certain point, Homura will need to turn back time to regain her Time Magic or lose it forever.
Aim, Shoot, Kill: Homura has more experience than any soldier, dead or alive, in any of Earth's Militaries. 14 or so years of constant fighting has gifted her with skill that would make soldiers green with envy. Her shots are almost always guaranteed to find their mark no matter the situation and her ability to compute the trajectory of her shots are just mind-blowing.
Machines and Magic: Homura has familiarized herself with her equipment so much, operating them is as easy as reciting the alphabet. In fact, all she needs to operate a vehicle is to keep in contact with it and the vehicle will drive itself. Simply pumping Magic into a mundane helps it perform better than it would otherwise.
Patron Saint of Determination or is it Obsession?: Homura does not bend, kneel, bow or yield to anything or anyone. She however, does break if the right words are spoken.
Doom and Gloom, the Diplomat: Her lot in life has left Homura bitter and despairing. Never trust her to lift people's' spirits or befriend anyone since she almost always does the opposite despite her best efforts.
Weaknesses:
Unlike other Magical Girls, Homura's innate weapon is her Buckler and there can only be one at any given time.
Homura fails at diplomacy and socializing.
She has an unhealthy obsession with a certain someone.
Can't live without Magic.
She needs her Buckler in order to use her Time Magic.
She can only stop time for one month before needing to replenish.
Most of her attacks are physical in nature and her Magical attacks are extremely costly.
Like all Magical Girls, the Soul Gem is Homura's weak point.

Bent Golf Driver: A simple Golf Club bent in more ways than one. Its Homura's very first weapon. Proved useful in beating up barrels.

Maintenance Equipment: Rags, lubricant, spare parts, gas, and other similar stuff, you name it and Homura has enough of it to supply an entire town for a few weeks.

Backstory: Once upon a time in the ever so extravagant city of Mitakihara, there lived a sickly girl whose heart tissue was scarred, a potentially lethal side effect of Myocarditis. Originally from Tokyo, Homura was confined to Mitakihara Hospital for most of her life and rarely could interact with anyone besides her parents, who were abroad, and the nurses and doctors attending to her.
All those years in the hospital paid off one day.
The scar in her heart was still present but she had grown strong enough not to need medical attention 24/7. The girl who spent most of her life around medical equipment had a hard time-making friends.
Then she was Kissed by the Witch of Art, Izabel.
She was saved by a pair of Magical Girls. One was a Veteran, and the other a newbie.
A month passed and they both died against the Stage-Construction Witch, Walpurgisnacht.
Homura made a Wish.
It was the worst mistake of her life.
Powers and Abilities:
No Longer Human: Magical Girl bodies are all around better than a human's in all aspects but the ones that include dying. They can perform Magic such as Enchantment, Healing, Hammerspace, Double Jumps, Extreme Acrobatics, Weapon Creation, and Magical Barriers and Bolts, magic and skills common to all Magical Girls, in addition to the one granted by their wish.
A Serpent Eating It's Own Tail: Time Magic. Homura can stop time for one month as long as she has enough Grief Seeds. It's very Grief intensive and prolonged exposure to the unprepared can lead to madness. Past a certain point, Homura will need to turn back time to regain her Time Magic or lose it forever.
Aim, Shoot, Kill: Homura has more experience than any soldier, dead or alive, in any of Earth's Militaries. 14 or so years of constant fighting has gifted her with skill that would make soldiers green with envy. Her shots are almost always guaranteed to find their mark no matter the situation and her ability to compute the trajectory of her shots are just mind-blowing.
Machines and Magic: Homura has familiarized herself with her equipment so much, operating them is as easy as reciting the alphabet. In fact, all she needs to operate a vehicle is to keep in contact with it and the vehicle will drive itself. Simply pumping Magic into a mundane helps it perform better than it would otherwise.
Patron Saint of Determination or is it Obsession?: Homura does not bend, kneel, bow or yield to anything or anyone. She however, does break if the right words are spoken.
Doom and Gloom, the Diplomat: Her lot in life has left Homura bitter and despairing. Never trust her to lift people's' spirits or befriend anyone since she almost always does the opposite despite her best efforts.
Weaknesses:
Unlike other Magical Girls, Homura's innate weapon is her Buckler and there can only be one at any given time.
Homura fails at diplomacy and socializing.
She has an unhealthy obsession with a certain someone.
Can't live without Magic.
She needs her Buckler in order to use her Time Magic.
She can only stop time for one month before needing to replenish.
Most of her attacks are physical in nature and her Magical attacks are extremely costly.
Like all Magical Girls, the Soul Gem is Homura's weak point.
