I expect we will fight a brief conflict in Sakhalin before we are either forced to surrender, you withdraw or the on setting harsh winter snows us in to a literal cold war on the island. Either way I wish to get at least ONE battle in before we send over tribute, even if it is just between your army and the local tribal levies, then I will beg for mercy and express mail over some cash golds. Speaking of the conflict, how are you going to get your forces to the island? In the winter much of the strait separating mainland Asia and Sakhalin is frozen over, with only part of the southern end being thawed. Landing there would mean an amphibious assault (As I suspect fishing boats or our navy would spot your forces crossing the strait, though maybe not.). Though, of course, a winter amphibious assault would be pretty awesome, and super risky. Will you fight us on the beaches?
