Character Story: Im not sure what I should write here. Zaahir is likely to focus on his work. He is a good leader, and the de facto leader of the other UHP students, so he is likely to be in the middle of any drama that may arise from his country men, weather he likes it or not.

Reason for being accepted into the academy: Zaahir is a talented leader and soldier, as well as having a good track record in the UHP with multiple combat deployments, commendations and medals.

As well as this, the UHP has been conducting a series of programs to try and build better relations with other interstellar nations. One of these programs is sending UHP soldiers to get degrees in foreign military academy's. This is the program that Zaahir used to gain access to the Imperial War Academy.

Bio: Zaahir was born on the colony Strong Arm, to a very devout Muslim mother and a decidedly non devout Muslim father. It was always a wonder to him that his parents were able to stay together in a happy marriage, considering their widely differing beliefs. He always took after his father though, and never cared much for religion, a fact that made his mother incredibly annoyed, as she tried to create her ideal, Muslim son until her was a legal adult. She would make Zaahir come with her, and his father when she could make him, to the local mosque, as well as pray at least 5 times a day. He was never very good in school, but did make good enough grades to pass all his classes, and when he graduated, he joined the Spacey. There he trained first as an astronaut, but wanting something that garnered more respect, he applied to join the prestigious Space to Ground Trooper program. The SGT's were some of the UHP's mose elite soldiers, and he wanted to become one of them. He was accepted, and even though the washout rate was 70%. Through perserverence, and a consideable amount of luck, he was able to make it through, and afte the 4 week course was over Zaahir graduated a full fledged SGT.

After he finished his training, he was deployed to one of the many orbital stations surrounding Strong Arm, which as a major military position for the UHP. After a few months in the Spacey, he was deployed to the semi-autonomous planet of SPIT-12217, where a very dramatic revolution had put a violent human exceptionalism leader named Thomas Biggle into power. The planet had begun funding terrorist attacks against other intelligent races in the galaxy, who called on the UHP to reign in the violence coming from one of their former colonies. Zaahir saw his first combat on Spit, as the planet was commonly known, cunducting multiple combat drops and eventually even leading his own squad in the fighting. After 2 and a half years of combat, the UHP withdrew their forces from the rapidly deteriorating political situation on the planet, which was begging to represent old 1940s earth, and Zaahir was redeployed on the newly built DMZ stations around the planet, called Cain and Abel respectively. After a few years running patrols from the stations on the planet, and seemingly little more, he signed up to take part in the college outreach program, and was accepted through the UHP to the Imperial War Academy.

When he finished elementary, his parents sent him to a military boarding school, where they hoped his discipline would improve. There, he made almost not change. His grades were still mediocre, and instead of straightening him out he just got smarter when avoiding things. He continued in military school through his high school years, graduating in the middle. Nothing special, just some average student.

To everyone's surprise however, he chose to continue in a military environment and join the Spacey. In basic, he was still a noted goofball, but showed an aptitude for leadership. Many of the other recruits looked up to him for his positive attitude, and his ability to rally them as well as willingness to dive headfirst into the tasks given, even his many punishments for his slacker behavior, was noted by the instructors. When he graduated he was referred to LRAC, or the Long Range Assault Corp, who were tasked with attacking areas far away from UHP territory, typically to soften up enemy defenses in advance of a UHP attack. He went to LRAC's basic, where he once again excelled in leadership positions, and left having picked up rank and become an Astronaut Petty Officer First Class, or the Marine equivalent of a sergeant. When the invasion of SPIT 1227 began, he was among the soldiers in the first wave of attackers. There he proved to be level headed in combat. Reason for being accepted into the academy: Despite her lack of years in the military, Camille is a decorated soldier after her service in a battle for a space station that had been taken over by a terrorist group. She proved to be level headed in combat, as well as her excellent marks in basic training and many commendations from her superiors.

Personality: Camille is intelligent and happy go lucky. She loves other people, and is driven by an insatiable desire to learn.

Moral Alignment: Neutral Good

Bio: Camille was born on earth to a dentist and a stay at home dad. Her parents were both firm believers in education, an pushed Camille to go to school and get good grades from a young age. She was well liked by her teachers and peers alike, and from a young age it was noted that she had the potential for a great future in academia. She worked hard all through elementary, and her parents signed her up for any club that she showed interest in. By the time she reached middle school, she had become proficient in piano, Spanish, painting, and she was starting to take a keen interest in the many other races of the galaxy. By the time she hit high school, there was no doubt in anyone's minds that Camille Aubertin was destined for greatness.

So it surprised everyone when after high school she chose to go into the military instead of college. She signed up with the Spacey out of an interest in star ships which she had developed, and for once in her life didnt do nearly as much research as she should have. She soon found that the Spacey was far more than just star ships. As soon as she got off the shuttle to the station where astronauts were trained, she was thrown into a totally different world than she was expecting. Her sheltered upbringing was swept right out from under her feet. She was singled out by the Drill Instructors fast, who saw that she was not like many of the other recruits, and it seemed if anything was found to be wrong with anyone it would be her. But, her hard working attitude and a refusal to give in carried her through, and she passed. She was assigned to the cruiser ISS Beijing, and was given the job of maintaining the torpedoes. If they were ever to be in a combat situation, it would be her job to load and fire one of the 4 tubes, with the help of two other astronauts like her. When not in combat, they were assigned all throughout the ship to help with any manner of menial labor they were needed for. At the end of her first year on the Beijing, her ship was ordered to respond to a group of terrorists who had taken control of a space station in orbit around the UHP colony Fourth Rock, and who were trying to push it out of orbit so that it could fall to the planet and destroy a city. In the end the Beijing attacked and destroyed the station before it could be used as a weapon, and during the fighting Camille earned multiple medals for valor. Deciding that she wanted to do more in the military, she chose to use the College Outreach Program to her advantage, and was accepted into the Imperial War Academy.
