I'm actually writing what will happen in Quartz's workshop when Everton and Charlotte finally arrive (which will be in... *checks watch* possibly soonish), minus any most of speech/anything from Charlotte.

EDIT: From my writing, I think that Kiri's creator may have a better handle on writing as her than me. Good thing he took an oath promised that he would do his writing prompt thing by the start of school (in 2 days)

1. Quartz's clientele (all thirteen of them) are elite, ridiculously rich or helped Quartz in a largely significant way. Lana's just the Chief Watcher's niece.

2. It would cheapen Charlotte getting one.

Coolness is debatable, but Lana is badass. Charlotte isn't.

Oh, she might not be badass in this form...

And you might not know about the badass...

And she might not have been ultra-badass yet...

But there is definitely badass there.

For one thing, Type N came from someone. A little alternate universe persona of Charlotte's who was definitely badass, before the universe exploded in a column of fire.

For another thing, I'd say getting into an argument with an archangel(or two) is pretty badass.

For another thing, she hasn't confronted the past yet.

Also, I can't believe it, but last night I dug through the Old Testament and pulled out some cool-sounding names and made an angelic family tree. And there was a lot of rearranging going on, so I could make sure that Charlotte's directly descended from both Gabriel and... someone else. It was complicated stuff. To say nothing of making sure I had male/female names right and then choosing a third of the ones I'd listed to be Fallen...
