Then GAme used his OP powers to bring Mathew and Seren into Merlin's mind.

Yes and no. He would be able to enter Merlin's mind, but not with a physical form, and therefore could not help combat the Dream Walker, and in fact he'd become an easy target for the Dream Walkers control.

And by the way, that is even stretching it.

They're dangers to themselves and others! They're broken, they need to be 'fixed'! That's how this whole idiotic world works, and I am so sick of it!

Seriously, though, look how she acts: she freaks-out when another person is only trying to look-out for her safety, and when she doesn't get to do what she wants, she immediately switches to red-text and starts threatening people. When she gets angry, she switches to red-text. When she is unstable in the slightest, she switches to red-text. She switches so quickly, between having no esteem and threatening boldly that she will do what she wants, even if it means her needless death. You can't look at her last few posts, at how she taunts Ichiru needlessly about his pain and guilt, and tell me she's not at the very least hysterical.

It's not like this was out-of-the-blue, me-being-a-jerk. Charlotte is a danger to herself and others, oftentimes, because her psyche is so fragile. Because she is so over-emotional that she doesn't consider the whole situation at hand, only her own pain and what she knows she wants. If she had rushed into those orbs, they could have electrocuted her, they could have done anything, they could have triggered a trap. Now we know they won't, they're...kinda just there...

It's one thing to be a firefighter who is going into a burning building to save a baby, because they have to and they want to. That's heroism. It's entirely another thing to completely disregard everyone, to throw yourself at a potential electric fence,and to possibly cause one more casualty than is needed.

I'm not saying I wouldn't do the same thing, like if I perceived someone had insulted a friend of mine. But I'm also not saying that rushing into action, without considering whether or not it's necessary, is a good idea either.

I am aware of all this, and that makes things worse. She's incredibly weak physically, but incredibly powerful, magically. But being as unstable as she is, that magic could go completely out of control at the drop of a hat.

That's exactly what I'm saying. Charlotte doesn't even consider the people who want to help her. It doesn't matter how close they are, they're her teammates, and they aren't going to be able to save Merlin unless they work as a team. And Charlotte's feelings for Merlin are exactly the reason why she is so easy to manipulate. She's gone full-Kirk, and she doesn't care about anyone else but herself and Merlin.
