Alright fine.
Ever hear of the band "The Protomen"? You should check them out. Anyways, I based these characters off of the characters from their version of the Megaman universe. A kind of dystopic AU with Wily in control and a crumbling city.
Awesome music and an awesome storyline.

I'm not judging you but as I think about your story line, I should of saw that coming.

Totally fine, go to sleep. Just hope random frisks don't slow you down on the way towards the Vegas Strip.

The Greater Dutch Republic wrote:Faction Name: Republic of New Shady Sands
Musical Theme: Jingle, Jangle, Jingle. Just cause.
Leader and Personality: Chief Hanlon, Chief Ranger
Most used character and Personality: See above
Locations: Jacobstown(Town of New Shady Sands), Vault 22(Town of Hanlon), Charleston Cave, Ruby Hill Mine, Silver Peak Mine
WIMPSSource of Income: Trade
- Wealth: 7. They have lots of resources to trade, and that has made them quite rich.
- Influence: 5. Trade with other settlements has earned them loyalty from factions more dependent on them, however they don't have a ton of influence.
- Might: 7. Soldiers equipped with former weapons from the NCR, makes for a mighty fine army. Still not enough to conquer the wasteland, however they can repel small-medium sized invasions forces.
- Popularity: 6. Trade has made them very popular, but people still remember that getting to close to the RNSS means bad news with the Enclave.
- Secrecy: 5. They can do some political maneuvering, but they can't infiltrate the Lucky 38 and kill House, for example.
Population: New Shady Sands: 50 Civilians, 20 Soldiers, 5 Rangers
Hanlon: 30 Civilians, 10 Soldiers
History:After the Battle of Shady Sands, and the subsequent defeat, the entire remaining government of the NCR collapsed. Survivors from Shady Sands were rounded up by a small group of Rangers and Soldiers, who led the refugees east. Finding a pre-war ski resort, they decided to set up camp for a bit. Finding the area easily defendable, as it was surrounded by mountains and forest, they eventually settled down permanently, naming their settlement New Shady Sands. The 5 surging Rangers, including a young Chief Hanlon, organized the Council, the head of the town, and named Chief Hanlon as Chief Ranger, head of the town. Calling themselves the NCR Provisional Govermment, they continued to fortify the town, waiting for the Enclave or the Master's Army to arrive. When they never came, Chief Hanlon declared the total end of the NCR in 2277, after the Battle of Hoover Dam. The foundation of the Republic of New Shady Sands, however, did not see the Enclave or The Master make an official peace with the Council, something the Council seeks to finally achieve. With the fortification of New Shady Sands taking a backseat for a while, NSS expanded out, taking Ruby Hill and Silver Peak Mine, mining them for all they were worth. The resources they got out of the mines were traded, resulting in the RNSS becoming very rich. When Vault 22 was discovered, a huge debate raged in the Council as to what they would do about it. On one hand, the Vault's technology could be used to make massive farms that could feed hundreds of people. On the other hand, the Vault was extremely dangerous, infested with Plant Men and dangerous plants. The decision was finally made that Vault 22 was to become part of the Republic. Mobilizing their small army, they cleansed the Vault, suffering less casualties then they expected, with only 1 casualty. What they gained from the Vault was a treasure trove, one of the most prized possessions was the Laser Rifle Model AER-14 Prototype, which lies under the care of Chief Hanlon to this day. The Vault became the center of a farming community, the second settlement of the Republic, called Hanlon, named after the Chief. The farms built and maintained using the technology from the Vault is able to feed the tinge population of the Republic, with more to spare, some of which is stockpiled, and the rest traded off. After Vault 22 was secured, the RNSS decided to stay put and pursue goals at home. The current debate in the Council is the construction of a wall around the borders of the Republic, and reaching out to the Enclave for help. Most people in the Republic agree that and bad blood between the NCR and Enclave is no longer applicable to them, and are calling for an alliance with the Enclave.
Goals: Make an official peace with the Enclave and Master, Maintain independence, continue to trade with other factions.
RP Sample: see other app.
Done.

Good, but here:
A) Expand on your WIMPS a little.
B)Why is NSS so willing to make peace with the Master and the Enclave? Why not Legion, they haven't hurt you guys.
C) Did they bring f*cking Flamers to the Vault? I died like twenty times, clearing that place out.

NSS realizes that they will need to make peace with their former enemies to thrive. At this point they just want to survive, and that requires making drastic measures. And I didn't die a single time clearing out the Vault. It was kinda easy. Just kill them while they're still sleeping in their nests, and the plants don't really pose a threat.
