The Norssian Empire is a military backed community, much like want the romans did. They are well trained and numerous, but lack the technological advantages of most countries. Their is no armor weapons in the Norssian military and only 150,000 infantry, but that is made up for by the Cossacks which makes up about 300,000 of the army and their ok quality of artillery force makes up for the rest.

Knowing how the Poles own much of the water ways Norssia decided on a different approach. They went with the fast sleek ships instead of the bigger bulkier ships. They have major bases in Oslo the Client states and in Greenland which helps connect Norssia to a healthy trade.

Economic Strength: The economy of Norssia is a lower-medium, but is slowly creeping upward due to the rich mineral resources that lie in these lands. Iron and Lumber keep this nation alive, but the discovery of oil on the outer brinks of the nation could help in the future.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the Empire of Norssia is ....OK? Sure we need some fix ups here and there, but in the end our cities were actually decent. The only great thing going for this country is the railway that connects the nation.

History: The "Death" raced across Europe killing all in it's way and humanity seemed doomed, but we humans are strong and we thrive! After the "Death" passed in 1351 the people of the north decided to move south. By 1400 we connected the Northern tip of Norway and Sweden. In 1450 they moved to almost half way down Norway and Sweden in hope to find more people. In 1450 they had all of Noway and Sweden and were starting to enter Finland. In 1500 Finland was now part of the new "Empire" and they were starting to enter Russia. In 1550 St. Petersburg was now in control of the "Empire". 1570 The empire was with in the reach of Moscow and were now moving east. By 1580 Moscow was now firmly in Empire control but all focus was west ward, finally another civilization was found, but things went south fast between the Empire and these "Poles". The Poles thought we might have been carrying the "death" so they were a little paranoid and warned the empire, but we ignored their warning and kept moving in hope to find a healthier land. So the Poles attacked a caravans and so war was started. But Empire was still a new growing nation had almost no military so the Empire were losing pretty quickly, but the Poles paranoia kinda stalled them once they got to our borders today in 1584 and gave the Empire time to train some what of an army and from there they kinda kept up border skirmishes until 1589 when they decided to call it done with. The empire lost the Baltic region, tip of Sweden, and Belarus. 1590, tensions between the Poles and the Empire were still bitter, but the Empire still pushed south and now west ward. (going to speed up here) 1670 The Empire finally reached their limits and now sit in borders they have today. 1700 the Empire went sea ward and claimed two islands in the east. 1730 news of the "death" with the empire spreads and now everyone was freaking out again, but the most unlikely ally came to the rescue...Poland. Poland along with the Empire were able to stabilize the disease and it stopped spreading. Now the Empire was in debut to the Poles and relations between the two started to rise. 1740, The empire formed a government and the Empire of Norssia was born. Since then not much has changed or anything interesting happened.

Well, I'm thinking at least 300,000 active duty army. Very high quality. Perhaps 1 million reserves?

Culture: Main culture is a mixture of Siberian and Mongol that derived from the main Empire and the Golden Horde. The client states and colonies in North America are predominant Inuit and Métis culture. Along Southern Siberia and Eastern coast have minor Chinese and Japanese

Army: IDK( don't know what would be good for a Khanate) The Army is the strongest branch of the Khanate and has gone throughout many reforms in order to rise in power and compete in the rapidly changing world. They have developed the military doctrine of deep battle thanks to the advent of the tank and have put a focus on using large forces and mechanized weaponry to get the job done. Most of the tanks that they have been bought and reverse-engineered from African designs or by other countries willing to sell it to them for credit. Because of this, they have gone into making a large military-industrial complex that had been built up since their rise to power over decades ago.

One of their weaknesses was that they have to rely on their client states to be able to feed their armies that they field and in some ways they need oil and materials such as lumber in exchange for weapons and training from the Khanate's forces.
Navy: The navy is a recently blue-water navy that is used to help the control of the Bering Strait and around the Gulf of Alaska, but have grown into having bases across the coast of British Columbia. They are small and mostly used to help with pirates and blockades when they first did the Strait Explorations 75 years ago but they were only a green-water navy until around 15 years ago that they colonize Alaska and have started to make deals with the First Nations and the Inuits for trade and turned them into client states in order to expand their control and try to help with the food situation of their Khanate.
Air Force: The Air Force is the most advance of their military branches since the rise of the Khanate's navy when it turned blue-water 15 years ago. The use of the air force had became needed when the use of intercontinental trading and their thirst of imperialism on North America had allowed them to start investing in the airforce since they couldn't just relied on a navy and the Sky Merchant's were the first of the Khanate's airforce who would carry large amounts of trade to the furthest of the Khanate where cars or boats couldn't reach. They had rapidly been invested into once the Wind Walker had realized the potential of what the airforce can do and had turned many of the commercial planes into fighters, bombers, and troop transports.
Economic Strength: The Khanate is known for their mineral economy and produce 21% of the world's diamonds. They also pull much steel and carbon that they use for their tanks, ships, and general cars that they are known to have " palaces made of steel". This makes them a strong power in the world markets but still fall short in other areas such as agriculture because of the wasteland they inhabit so they have to import the food from their client states, China, or Japan in order to have a surplus and they are quick to be reminded when war approaches them.
Infrastructure: Much infrastructure is highly developed for the use of mass transportation and transit by developing a Siberian railway in order to accommodate the growing economy. Many farming equipment has been made but herding is still a traditional way of getting around in order to feed lesser communities.
Scientific Research and Development: Much R&D is focused on war science and improving on tank designs or weapons in order to be on the norm of military tradition and trying to make sure their borders are protected and power projected across the world.
Primary Goals: To become a world superpower, unite Russia under the Wild Horse. Try to conquer the Old Lands( lands of the Golden Horde)
History: In the year 1300 when the Bubonic Plague hit the Middle East, some of the Golden Horde had been infected when they were trying to invade other Persian lands but the Persians used Plague-infected bodies against the Horde's camps and they were infected and many tribes of Siberia had started to interact with the Russian lands had shown signs of infection and collapsed the Golden Horde as they retreated to the furthest reaches of Siberia where they were taken in by a Siberian tribe known as the Wild Horses.

The Wild Horses were a rather untouched tribe and had learned how to use horses via Mongolian horses escape and migrant north into their nomadic lands and they produced their own breed of horses who can handle the Siberian winter. The Golden Horde remnants taught them a lot of their culture and military tactics and thus changed their history as they declared themselves a Khanate over the first Wind Walker whose name became a title that is still used today. The Wind Walker had started to make the expansions in Siberia against many other tribes in an effort to unite them in a series of campaigns called the Wild Marches.

The Wild Marches started around 1426-1438 when the first Wild Walker died and the second one was brought up as a large series of campaigns against the minor tribes and gathered much land but it ended when they touched the border of Mongolia and made contact with the Parent Mongols and sent envoys to make contact with them in order to show that some of the Mongolian culture, though mixed, was alive as they call themselves the " Children of the Golden Horde" and told them that it was because of them that they were able to grow so large.

They started to send envoys to parts of Japan and other parts of Europe,Persia, and Africa when they had heard at the Plague and what had happened when Africa and the Middle East became the centers of the world. During the years of 1459-1500 became known as the Era of Five Winds that made them allowed to learn many ways of the world by being progressive and making large reforms in their nation such as the making of the Riders Council that made it more of a tribal confederation that made the minor tribes under their Khanate to have full autonomy and be consider member states under the Wind Walker.

They also started to make progressive forms of religious tolerance to Tengrinism and Buddhism as they had started to expand east to touch the Bearing Strait but the Shamans who had been in the highest ranks of society to be cast down for more tolerance had came with three full-scale civil wars and a famine during the years 1510-1530 and became known as the Clash of Spirits which had been known as the bloodiest era of their time till the 1600s as the death toll was around 400,000 at the time and they had a stagnate growth until the year 1580 where they were able to start sending explorers across the Strait to find food and they had opened their borders for immigration and had accepted the languages of Wu, Han Chinese, and Japanese because the rise of immigrants came and settled in Southern and Eastern Siberia.

In the year 1646 they started to find colonies in Alaska but they were more in the way of fishing villages until the industrial Revolution came in the mid 1800s when they had found diamonds in Northern Siberia and they were able to buy much of the Industrial Revolution and sparked a new air of imperialism as they started to rapidly modernize in some ways and have started to explore Canada and make contact to the Inuits, Metis, and the First Nations.

Within the year 1872 they had started to expand until they touched the borders of the Empire of Norissia and started to expand their influence into British Columbia, Nuvit, and the Northwest territories and started to help modernize their nations in exchange for helping bring in food to the Khanate. Within 1930 the client states pulled in the most of the Khanates food and this gave them leverage to have their own forces and their own say in the Riders Council. This made the idea of Grain and Crowns or the Reach of the West as a means that in order to build on their economy of food in the client states is that they must start preparing for expeditions into North America as a means of becoming a world super power.

Now in the year 2000 they have been building their cities and economy but their have been having protest and a crisis that they should allow more democracy in the Khanate and there is a rise of Shaman reactionaries may spark another civil war for religion and many don't want that to happen while the current Wind Walker is preparing to expand west as a way to unite Russia under the Khanate and even invade Persia in order to have the Old Golden Lands or the lands of the Golden Horde under their rule as a way to pay homage to the Horde that had given them their Khanate so long ago.
