I'm pulling Novgorod into a war with Smolensk (which should be over within the spring campaign season really). Beyond that, we'll see how Rus' geopolitics develop. I'm booked to sack Kiev in three years, but we might have to move that up if they try to invade Galicia.

The moment that source gave Constantinople less people than Milan I knew something was wrong. Also, the part where it gives Venice 45,000 in 1250 which is a new record low.
This indicates that Milan had less than Venice before 1200 and possibly as much as 100,000 in 1300.
Here it is indicated to be between 50 and 60 thousand.
This gives us 90,000.
Here we see Milan being given as less than a hundred thousand, and 60 years later it is reduced to less than half that amount.

That is too say there is a massive grey area, but it as a whole all sources but the one you linked agree on it being less than a hundred thousand.
