Introductory Information
So, the year is 1200, and the world is in an interesting shape. We'll be RPing in this interestingly shaped world as a nation where it is possible to app for if approved. The RP will revolve around war, diplomacy, trade and other things conducted by your nation. If you've ever been in a nation RP before, which you should have, it should all be quite familiar.

To join, choose a nation on the map, and make an app for it. Inquire about nations before you make the app.

Military: All of the clansmen of Scotland are trained in combat, however official levies range between 10,735 and 35,750 which are raised via the vassals of the King. More men can be raised if the situation turns dire or they are needed to reinforce offensive forces via the clans, most of which send small militias to fight as parts of the levies. The Scots are a force to be reckoned with due to their rugged nature, only akin to the ruggedness of the Highlands they descend from.

Population: I'd say a guesstimate of 300,000 or something for this time period, assuming th territory in the map.
Capital City: Voruta, while there is no official evidence that it was the capital, it was Mindaugas's (first ruler of Lithuania in the truest sense of the word, circa 1240) favorite place to stay in. And it ain't fuckin' Novogrudok, you Belarussian historians, always trying to usurp our history.
Religion: Lithuanian mythology, though calling most pre-Abrahamic beliefs "religions" is misleading. We can tolerate almost any faith and culture, though - even Jews, who exist here since the 9th century.
Military: Most adult males are trained in fighting and raiding. Lithuanians have, since time immemorial, been the Japanese of Europe - isolated from everyone through either seas or forests and swamps, long fighting, warfare and honor tradition, pretty crappy land, which forces the people to be more innovative and hardened, similar latitudes and climate, accepting of foreign influences and technologies, but surprisingly hostile to conversion and foreign faiths, and also capable of overpowering and beating way superior forces, both in numbers and technology. The Duke can muster a dozen thousand men at best, but the hundreds of tribes and chieftains that make up the nation all have their own militaries and often help their leader in times of war.

Military: 100,000, of which 15 thousand are heavy cavalry can be mobilised, but around 20 - 30 thousand is the usual number for a campaign. More info here. Fighting against the great powers surrounding it, such as Hungary and the Roman Empire, has left the Bulgarian state heavily militarised. Often large numbers of Cuman mercenaries are drafted into the armies, and Bulgarian commanders have a ruthless and efficient reputation throughout Europe.
