Brief Description of your Economy: Texas' economy is largely based around petroleum and agriculture.
Goals: Independence!
History: Tensions between Texas and the United States had been brewing since the late 2000s, but the final nail in the coffin was when Texas National Guard refused to allow American military into the state as part of a training exercise. When the National Guard attempted to arrest American soldiers crossing over the border, fighting broke out between the two groups. When the governor of Texas refused to order the National Guard to stop, and an attempt was made by FBI to arrest him, Texas declared itself independent from the Union, on the grounds that the federal government had violated Texas' constitutional rights.
Eventually, a compromise that left many Texans unhappy was formed. Texas would be allowed autonomy in exchange for remaining under America's thumb. A new constitution was ratified, the government focused on rebuilding from the collapse of the oil industry, and election went by. Now, with election coming once more, the four main parties are the Texas Party, advocating full independence, the Republican Party, advocating the status quo, the Democratic Party, advocating a return to the Union, and the People's Party, divided on the Texan Question, but preferring Socialism.
Special Factors: Autonomous Republic.
Code Word: Remember the Alamo.

One of which would be my country now, that is not saying it is becoming more powerful it is recovering faster. As for the your point of my nation being unstable. My app isn't even finished yet and you don't even know what countries form the Latin Federation. How could you possibly know of resistance movements? I also think you misunderstand federation if you think because these nations unite that it angers the populace of the continent. It's a federation, most governing is still done at the same level it was already at. The federal government would be far less controlling of specific individual citizens.
No it really doesn't. Nations will trade regardless of wether they like each other, Russia still trades with the U.S. IRL. And no your nations would not be recovering faster, most of South America is a third world country, and HATE each other, meaning they would not untie in a federation. And as I STATED, Sotuh America avoided the worst of the Petro collapse, but was severly effected by the Depression.

Look i will not argue any other point, than a federation between the stronger nations in south america in a gambit to better come through the depression would be possible. I'm not saying it would be the most stable of nations and i am not saying there wouldn't be some rebellion against the government but the countries i have becoming a part of the federation would be able to manage insurrection. I not actually making an entire continent into a federation in fact its only five countries. Four of which are actually already politically friendly to one another and the last one will have suffered a governmental change. I promise I will spend extensive time and hard work on my app to make it viable.
