I recently had an idea to do an RP where each player controls a state and just does random crap like invading other states and stuff.

It was mostly a example to get a image of what the sort of arsenal they have access to. But the arsenal is going to be Warsaw pact, and some newer equipment, alike the Metris-9 systems, and KORD machine guns. BMP is not really much something I imagine would be practical for this.

Can you link me to some previous RPs, and maybe tone down the weapon quality a bit and size a lot. 100,000 is beyond excessive.

Why you are rebelling: Since 1983, Hezbollah have operated within South America, starting with Brazil that they used to start laundering operations with the Cartel. The members were Shiite Muslims, funded, armed, and trained by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, IRGC. Many of these members fled to South America, on the heels of the Lebanese Civil War in the mid-seventies. During Osama Bin Laden's 1999 vist to Brazil, he spent a good deal of time arousing the faithful. He started terror cells and left his officers in charge. These cells grew, and eventually fractured into various factions, but united under the same agenda, the downfall of USA.

After laying low for decades, nesting on their covert operations to acquire funding to their mainland organization, the PS-13 became a public news. Agitating the poor populations within the border region, they taken it upon themselves to take the public appearance as a " hero " for the Hispanic people. After spending several weeks of creating a vast network of propaganda, they eventually gotten to the point where, like a coiled spring, they have to make good of their word. Yet their motives isn't as righteous as they claim.

Under the coordination of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, Hezbollah advisers, and Cartel bosses, the idea is to reclaim the lost land of Mexico, due to the Mexican Cession in 1848. Motives for this is the Iranians desire to see a weaken USA to have a window to exploit the chance to insert proxy regimes in The Middle East, and start minor skirmishes across without the fear of repercussion from the US. The cartel also wishes to cooperate within this scheme, both for the fame of liberating the area, but also to use it as a means to further expand their human trafficking operations, and smuggle drugs with more ease. Now, seeing the US divided in strength, and spilt in various factions, it is finally time to start the long prepared operation. The operation to reclaim the lost Mexican lands.

Popular support: Support on a national basis comes largely from the conservative, and right-wing parties in Mexico, whilst criminal elements is also in show. It is hard to create a line between the two, as it is hard to see the difference between the motives for the support. Whatever the case however, the overall Mexican population is showing support to this paramilitary faction, whilst some minor support is also found in the states.

Quality of Weapons, from 1 to 10: 7. The hardware isn't the top of the line, however it is more then capable of doing its work. From Metris-9 systems, to light BMP-2, the paramilitary unit is capable of most operations, but due to the size, and hardware, it is not able to do fully head-on attacks on the US units, rather, relying on guerrilla tactics, and small skirmishes.

Suppliers: The cartels is able to acquire weapons from defected soldiers whom join their ranks, such as Los Zetas, and buying second-hand weapons from the US market. The Iranian IRGC have also done several exports to the paramilitary unit, giving them the same equipment their acquired from Russia.
