A brief armed conflict back in 1889 cemented both the East-West border and the cool relations between the two states.

Prime Minister Hjalmar Hammarskjöld, newly elected and independent from any political party, brings hope to the citizens of the Kingdom of Sweden.

Reasons for choosing that side in the war: Bataar wishes to get to know his neighbors and their reasons for fighting. In time, he'll make his decision.
Nation history: In the 13th century, tribes in Central Asia were united under the banner of Temujin, whom assumed the title of Chingis Khan. Chingis held what was, at one time, the world's largest empire. The Mongols were a name feared by all. Upon Khan's death, his empire, much like Rome was nearly 1,000 years early, was divided. Poor organization lead to a decline in Mongolia's greatness. In the mid 19th century, Zhang China annexed Mongolia. The Mongolian people whom wanted a free Mongolia revolted 1903. The movement was lead by Zevegiin Nergui, whom later adopted the name Bataar Khan. Manchu and Eastern Siberian rebels, at the aid of the Mongols, overthrew their occupiers and joined the Democratic People's Republic of Mongolia. His promise to return Mongolia to glory has been half-successful at best. In barren Mongolia, famine plagues the land. The prospect of a socialist economy, one of the world's first, brings international scholars to Mongolia's plains. Khan's education programs include stories about his youth, such as his speaking seven languages at the age of six, his riding of horses faster than any man at the age of three, and how he's the direct descendant of Chingis Khan (this one's probably true, given 11% of Asians have Chingis's DNA). Songs praise him, paintings of him with the workers line the streets of Mongolia's cities, and every morning he gets on the radio to tell the people of Mongolia how happy they are. Critics of him disappear just as soon as they show their head. Although military's not compulsory, it's expected of every man and woman to be able to ride a horse, shoot a bow, swing swords, and shoot guns.

I've done it (not on this particular nation) since early 2011. Zhang China, if my nation's history's a tad bit Mary-Sueish, I apologize and can change it. Reasons for choosing that side in the war: At the moment the Emperor wishes to remain neutral, though he holds sympathies for the central powers.
Nation history: The Same as real history up till when Cortes landed on Aztec soil. Rather than be treated with hospitality, the native's feared the Spanish, they attack the Spanish before they could gain a foothold. Defeated, the Spanish were forced off Aztec Soil. Over the following years, several more wars were fought between the Aztecs and Spanish, eventually named the Cactus War's. Weakened by disease and war, the natives had no choice but ask for peace, this led to the treaty of Texcoco, ending hostility's between the Aztecs and European's. The following year Moctezuma suffered a heart attack and died and a new emperor rose to power. In order to survive the empire had to evolve, however this evolution was slow. Firstly, the empire had to be unified, truly unified past tribal loyalties. This caused the Flower Revolt of 1540. in which the Aztec Army crushed revolting farmers and nobles. After this, the empire underwent modernization, copying the Spanish, the Aztecs were able to produce Ships, and with the help of European sailors were able to successfully trade within england. However, this effort was expensive, and because of that taxes spiked, causing the Texcoco Revolt, which was once again put down, more harshly this time. Over time the Empire expanded, fighting off the French, American and British Influences. By the year 1740 however, the empire was split. The Revolution of 1748 was in full swing, the rebel's had marched across the Aztec Empire, destroying farms and stealing the possesions of nobles, the totanac army marched to meet them just south of tenochtitlan. The fierce battle lasted for four brutal day's, leaving nearly fifty-thousand rebels dead or wounded, along with about fifteen thousand Aztec casualties. Time went on, the Aztec Military modernizing, along with industry. By 1900 The Aztec population has retained much of its culture, while still being fairly modern. However, having survived for such a long period of time Ethnic Tensions have soared and rebellion seems a likely problem in the future. Not only that but many different leaders and nobles are corrupted. The Emperor has suggested war as a means of Unifying the nation.
