Naval Monte wrote:Expecting a reaction from Hiccup about her pregnancy so when the gigantic leg came out besides both her and Hiccup she was surprised but quickly looked neutral at it. When Hiccup theorized about the smoke being the source of the magic weakening properties of the world the woman thought and spoke. "You may be right. But right now we have no idea to be sure if that smoke is the source to this world's unusual properties." she replied back.
When Hiccup flew higher she held on to him since this was her first time riding a dragon and doesn't want her first experience to be her last. When Hiccup asked if she was ready Veira nodded her head yes, ready for him to go inside. Inside the beast Elizabeth was not cutting through everything she sees, only things that get in her way.
This would be a fitting soundtrack
Without any hesitation, Hiccup patted Toothless briefly on the back, before diving down, towards the part of the beast that had surfaced. As more of the evil smelling smoke continued to billow out from its stomata (that was what they looked like), the hideous quivering of the abhorrent thing became less and less torturous. It was almost as if it was relieving itself through the vapour. The moment the first whiff of the smoke reached the three, Toothless whined and closed his eyes, Hiccup making a gesture which suggested that he felt the same.
"Just one hit, bud", he consoled.
5… 4… 3… 2… 1…
Before anybody else could say anything, a blinding flash of blue plasma illuminated the entire night sky, sending blue rings of light emanating through the sky. A massive explosion burst forth from the body of Ogklrygma, and the black figure of the elegant Night Fury regained altitude, cutting through the air and heading backwards. A furiously deafening, baritone roar boomed through the entire ocean, as the exposed surface of the monster, receded back into the ocean. A massive chunk of it had been blasted away, allowing sickly red blood to diffuse into the ocean under the cover of night. The smell of cauterised amphibian flesh permeated the air.
"So the smoke is flammable, eh?" remarked Hiccup, wiping his eyes as he steadied Toothless in the air, drawing his fiery sword and whirling it about with his left hand, keeping his right hand free. "We should probably… um… watch out. It's more than likely that it'll come back up. It didn't seem like the blast went all the way through to… you know…"
It was just then that another leg thrust itself through the water, shooting straight into the sky. Before Hiccup could react, a burst of pure white fire sprayed on the leg, as the glimmering, golden figure of Mera soared through the air and landed almost gracefully on the side of the leg. As the beast attempted to flick her off its leg, the dragon continued to spray relentless amounts of fire on the leg, searing through the armour and charring the flesh. Eventually, though, she was forced to jump off.
"There's something coating the Vermin", she panted exasperatedly.
"Then we will just have to take it out the old way, then."
"We're not here to take it out. We're here to find Gabriel."
Hiccup looked down at the thing.
"If he's in that thing by now…"
Madagascar III
Just as Henry and Master Lam both seized the wheel of the ship, yet another massive wave rocked the bottom, sending the vessel lurching upwards, then downwards, then to the side. Through the spotlights of the ship, a faint white outline could be seen below the surface of the water; in a split second, the body of the Majestic Vermin penetrated the surface of the water, throwing the ship to one side violently.
"Master Lam", bawled Henry, storming off, "I need you to hold on to the wheel."
"What does it look like I'm doing???" replied Master Lam.
Henry chuckled, running below deck. A brief moment later, he charged back out, brandishing a machine pistol in one hand, an AK47-ish rifle in the other, and a very large plastic bag filled with ammunition hanging from one of his forearms.
"Bring it on, you slimy bitch!" he roared, climbing onto the railing of the ship and discharging a relentless hail of bullets at the body of the thing. "In the name of my motor- wife and kids! You ain't gonna win!"
…
The sudden lurch of the ship caused Steiner to fall off his stool, landing on his butt on the ground.
"Oof", he said stoically and incongruously. Facing Alice, Steiner gestured to the unconscious elf lying on the bed.
"Make sure he's safe."
