Tenzou's hotel

"I don't know anything about Alexander Gasshau or this 'Palpatine' of whom you speak", said the elf, as he poured another glass of water for himself, "considering how I've never met the former and never heard of the latter. What I do know, or rather, what I've concluded, is that Gasshau has a power called "Masukur" that is either key to Ogklrygma's secrets, or capable of shaking the Twenty Governments independently. Of course, the fact that he's only accused of a single crime raises many eyebrows; how does a single act or condition exceed, say, General Danashili's shopping list of crimes?"

"The way I see it", said Steiner, "it need not necessarily be a power. Perhaps Gasshau could be in possession of important information, or he could be of a special bloodline that the Governments want eliminated?"

"I disagree", said Felix. "If that were the case, he would have been eliminated quite easily."

"There is the possibility that people may want to help him escape for whatever reason."

"The question is… what?"

A ringing sound came from Tenzou's smartphone. Just a few seconds later, the sound of a plane flying overhead boomed and echoed throughout the house. The elf seized the phone and glanced at his notifications.

"Damn", he said. "That'll make things much harder now."

"What?"

Tenzou showed the message to the rest.

"The Lernek Republic has declared war on the Bijj Republic", he said. "The problem is the fact that we are currently in the Lernek Republic's territory; any moment now, the Bijj Republic's troops are gonna file through and bomb the place to kingdom come."

"That doesn't sound good", remarked Josiah densely.

"This is the first time the Lernek Republic has been at war in 900 years", said Tenzou. "Its armies are inexperienced and bloody lazy. On the other hand, the Bijj Republic is known as the Warmonger of the Eastern Hemisphere (which we are currently in); I think enough can be implied from that name."

Another plane flew overhead.

"If we are to leave", continued the elf, "then it has to be now."

An All-out Onslaught
The Maju Army VS The IGSE Army VS Four Grandmasters and the Japanese Fleet
全開の攻撃
マージュ聖軍 VS IGSEのアーミ VS 四先生そして日本の艦隊

Part II

Dimension 29
Shen Tang
Jiang Dynasty Grand Palace
Palace Grounds

Master Ding Hao and Master Law Hon Chung VS "Dark Titan of Terror" Anneliese Elsa Jones
丁先生そして羅先生 VS 「暗黒魔神」 アーナリス●エルサ●ジョンス

The snaking, demonic figure of the Dark Titan of Terror, the fourth greatest bounty hunter in the Multiverse, slowly coiled around the courtyard grounds of the the Jiang Dynasty's palace, leaving behind trails of extremely foul smelling trails of bright red liquid that evaporated vigorously and released wicked fumes into the air. On either side of the courtyard stood Master Ding Hao (brandishing his katana) and Master Law Hon Chung (who pointed both his palms at the horrifying, eldritch thing).

"Anneliese Elsa Jones", said Ding, cocking his head and whirling his katana skilfully, creating two blurs around his slender yet muscular body. "So you're the mastermind behind this, it seems."

"Naaaah", said the thing, smiling wickedly and drooling salaciously. "But I do have a pretty big part in this. So… let's get the two of you over with, so that I can continue to rip the Multiverse open."

"That'll be much harder than you think, Jones", said Law, smirking and commencing a slow, meditative circle around the monstrous bounty hunter, coiled in the centre like a snake.

The first to strike was, strangely, Law. Whirling about in a circle, the older master sent a greenish blast of energy flying at Jones, tearing into her side and sending her flying towards a wall with a shriek of pain. The demon shot out her six tongues, seizing the top of the wall and pulling herself up, before leaping off and heading straight for Master Law, only to be deflected by a watery punch from Master Ding, who used his sword to carve into Jones' slimy side.

Jones snarled and coiled her body backwards horribly and awkwardly, using one of her tongues to seize Ding's wrist and flick the sword out, sending it flying out of his hand. The master, in retaliation, dissolved into water and burst upwards like a geyser, reaching out a human hand and seizing the sword, before reappearing on the ground, facing Jones and whirling the sword about with a smirk on his face. That same moment, Law continued to circle the beast, both his palms pointing at the thing.

"This is getting interesting", said Jones, allowing all her tongues to dangle from her mouth suggestively.

Tenzou's hotel[/b]

"Don't worry yourself too much about Palpatine. He is in a different galaxy far, far, away from this one." Elizabeth said, shooting out a strange web from her wrists and pulling a chair close to her to sit on. However Elizabeth turn the chair around so she can have the back of the chair facing the group so she can rest her arms on the top rails and her head on her arms. "There is also a third possibility to consider with this "Masukur" and that would be that it's connected to all three. After all the government needs Ogklrygma for them to exist as they do now and having a power related to it will shake any one in a position of power in here."

Elizabeth began to play with her head as she continued to talk. "There is the fourth possibility that this "Masukur" can have no relations to either Ogklyrgma or the world governments and that it's a red herring but that is very unlikely in this timeline. Of course this Masukur is something we have no idea what it is. We don't know if it's information, an object or an ability. The chances of him possessing knowledge that those in power would want is a good reason for him to have the mother of all bounties on his head, I can relate if that is the case for Alex."

Elizabeth looked at Felix. "If he was a member of a bloodline than it isn't too strange on one member surviving the destruction of their entire family, especially if the bloodline was large. Also like our little snowflake over there suggest he can very well have people helping him." Elizabeth stayed silent as she seems to stare off into space, though in reality she was thinking on what plan to make and accessing her knew found knowledge for assistance.

"There is a probability that Alexander Gasshau can our ally, if a temporary one. Right now we have the vermin, the governments and bounty hunters as our enemies. Having a man who is the world's enemy on our side will be helpful to use even if we have some ridiculously powerful people on our team." Soon Elizabeth heard the sound of planes booming over the hotel, before the former mage can ask about the planes she got her answer about the coming war.

"If any nation let's it's military get weak like that it deserves to be conquered, especially if they have a bloodthirsty warmongering neighbor." Elizabeth coldly affirmed. Elizabeth was annoyed to be in a war zone in a world with a magic weakening atmosphere but so far from what she gathered with her powers she can still take on whatever soldiers she could encounter in this world.

"I'll go spread the word on us getting out of here." Elizabeth then turn into a bloody mist in front of the group and flew to the door and under the door crack, moving through the halls looking for everyone so she can warn them about the coming war.
----

Elizabeth saw the Moon Sisters and Fauna, the sisters were staring at the bloody mist that was coming towards them and were surprised when they saw the mist take on the form of Elizabeth. "You can do that?" one of them asked. "Yeah that one is new to me too. But that isn't important, we need to get out of here now." she told the sisters and Fauna about the war that was coming. "We'll make sure the word spreads." Once Elizabeth heard that she turn into her mist form once more and moved on.

The sisters went on to move throughout the hotel to let others hear about the news of the coming war between the Lernek Republic and the Bijj Republic.
-----

"What on Earth is going on?" Veria said as she heard the planes flying above the hotel. She was started when she saw the bloody mist and was even more surprised when it took on the form of Elizabeth. "What's going on Ashwood?" she said in a demanding tone, getting into her role to act like Alzis. Elizabeth looked at the woman questionably before smelling the room, she then had a mischievous grin on her face that Veria can tell was not a good sign.

"I was wondering why you two were glowing. So you decided to have some fun while we were getting our ass kicked outside, granted I wish in hindsight I was in here instead of out there but with my girlfriend and her niece being out there I had no choice." Before Veria can even ask how can even smell the scent of them having sex Elizabeth interrupted her. "You two cleaned yourself well but you didn't do a good job with the room, that and my new sense of smell is much stronger than my old one." Veria was now blushing, embarrassed that the woman before her can easily figure out what she and Crowe did.

Elizabeth soon dropped her grin and look at the two seriously. "I will like an explanation as to why you aren't Alzis anymore and what are you, but right now we have a war coming towards us. So get ready to leave now and warn everyone in the hotel what's coming." Veria was shocked that Elizabeth figured out that she was no longer Alzis quickly as Elizabeth turn into her mist form and left.

Veria turn back to Crowe. "I think I can use your help getting out of her." she looked away at him as her blush deepened, she felt embarrassed to admit that she felt sore after their love making.
-----

Elizabeth entered into the same room where Tessy was along with the sleepy Cyrssa. Elizabeth appeared behind Tessy and after taking a few steps forward lean down and hugged the woman from behind. "Where were you?" Tessy asked, her eyes still on Cyrssa. "I joined a secret meeting on what to do with our jewel and vermin hunting. Let's just say things are a bit more complicated in here than we first thought but that is for later. Right now we need to leave because a war is coming to us."

Tessy was shocked to hear the news. "I'll get someone to help out with Cyrssa and if I can't than I'll carry her for you." Tessy felt grateful for Elizabeth on wanting to help her. "Gotta go, but I'll come back quickly." with those words Elizabeth broke off the hug and turn back to her mist form and left the room.

Shop

Tandem and Alice search throughout the ship, each one finding their own pieces for their grand projects. Once they got all the pieces that they need both came to a terrible realization. "We forget to ask for money from the elf." the two of them whispered to each other. They knew that stealing these items from the shop will get them in trouble and the last thing they need is to have their faces added into the bounty list, but they need these items for the quest.

Soon the two of them heard planes flying above the town, the two had a bad feeling about them. The two of them reach the counter and asked the shopkeeper what is going on.

Tenzou's hotel

As soon as Elizabeth left, Tenzou turned off his smartphone and looked over at the rest who remained in the room.

"It's time to go", he said. "We'll need, most of all, a ship."

---

Before long, the sound of tanks rolling and soldiers marching through the streets became very audible. One look out of the window, and the sight of entire battalions marching around could be seen. The entire town's streets were filled with sentries and squads of soldiers armed with assault rifles. Sandbag barricades, barbed wires, and caltrops littered the streets of the town, turning it into what looked like a war-ready fortress. Overhead, the occasional plane would fly, leaving a trail of steam in its wake.

The frightening efficiency of the Lernek Republic's preparations for war was, of course, under-toned by a sinister warning of the even greater power of the soon-invading Bijj Republic, a power that far surpassed Lernek.

---

Josiah, Felix, and Master Wong had left the hotel to go in search for a ship. No specific instructions had been given from any member of the party, except that the ship should have to be large enough to fit everybody on board, while leaving room for additional crew members.

"Are you going to come with us, Josiah?" asked Felix.

The boy shrugged. He didn't see any reason to tag along; after all, lots of Ogsmeinahmān had come and gone in the 16 years he had lived with Tenzou. And yet…

"Stop."

The three were halted at a barricade by a soldier in a dark green trench coat and a black beret.

"Show me your passports."

"We didn't bring them along", said Josiah incredulously. "Why do we need passports to go shopping?"

"You insolent fool!" yelled the man. "The Lernek Republic is at war, and if we… Wait a minute…"

The soldier reached into his trench coat's pockets and withdrew a smartphone. While another soldier kept watch on the three, the first soldier scrolled through the smartphone and flicked the screen, revealing three all too familiar posters with three familiar faces.

"You are these three people, are you not?" asked the soldier.

"Umm…"

"Arrest them!"

Before the soldier could react, Wong had whirled around and planted the bamboo pole in the soldier's abdomen, causing him to reel backwards in shock and crash into a café table a few metres back. The other soldier attempted to charge at the master, but was promptly wrestled away by Josiah, who forced him onto the ground with some difficulty (considering the soldier's massive size). That moment, however, the soldier grunted and drew a knife, preparing to stab the boy.

"Josiah! Look out!"

That moment, the bamboo pole swept across the trajectory of the man's knife, striking the soldier in the knuckles and causing him to drop the knife in pain. A cracking sound rang out at the same time. Without hesitation, Master Wong leapt upwards, flipped forward, and landed his elbow on the second soldier's face, knocking him out cold.

"Some bounties are gonna get much higher today", said Master Wong, brushing the dust off his shirt. He turned to Josiah.

"You're not bad at all", said the master, "but you don't focus enough on defence; your flank was wide open."

The boy smiled sheepishly.

"Maybe we could go on. before more soldiers arrive?"

Before any of them could react, a terrifying whistling sound rang through the air, before a shell crashed through the roof of a nearby building, and an explosion burst forth a split second later.

"That would be a great idea, yes."

---

The Shop

The fat man checked his smartphone.

"It seems that war's breaking out", he said. "You two may want to get somewhere safe."

Tenzou's hotel

Elizabeth can see that the Moon Sisters manage to get the word out to the servants as they began to pack up whatever they wanted to take with them as they plan to leave the hotel to find shelter. Elizabeth return back to the room Tessy was in and found her ready to carry Cyrssa. "You're ready to go, also I found these while I saw going around the place." Elizabeth said, returning back into her human form and showing Tessy a medical case. "Thank you Elizabeth. Do you know of a place for us to go?" Tessy asked.

"So far I have no idea, but I know some members of our group is looking for a boat so that can be our shelter." Elizabeth replied back. Elizabeth thought about her cousin and while she knows that Alice chances against the army is the same as Elizabeth she knows that Alice isn't like her and as such is worry on how she will deal with actual combat. "You're worried about Alice aren't you?" Tessy asked, seeing Elizabeth worry as clearly even though she tried to hide it. Elizabeth simply nodded. "Don't worry, I'm sure she will be alright and if the worst does happen I'm sure Tandem will help her." Tessy assured her lover.

Tessy doesn't know much about the two of them but she can tell that whatever amount of time they spent had made them into close friends. Secretly she also ponder on whether or not the two of them can also become lovers? She knew that if Saya was around she would probably do that just like how she helped out with her's and Elizabeth's relationship. Tessy saw Elizabeth change her ears to be similar to Cyrssa's and the expression on her face let Tessy know that whatever she is hearing isn't good. "Bollocks, the other army is bombing the town. We have to leave now."

Tessy didn't waste any time, carrying her unconscious niece tightly she followed Elizabeth out of the room and through the hotel to find the exit. Elizabeth still had her elfish ears show she can use the enhanced hearing to keep a track on the planes. The two women can see the stairs leading down and were running towards it.

The Shop

When the two of them heard that war is breaking out they gave the fat man started looks. They wanted to ask him what happened to cause the war but they were reminded of their goal on coming to the shop. Before the fat shopkeeper can say anything the two of them grabbed their items and left the shop without paying, ignoring whatever signs of protest he was throwing at them.

As the two ran through the streets they can see soldiers and tanks from the country they are in preparing for the coming invasion, down several streets they were form they heard the sound of a bombing falling and hitting it's target. "Damn it, if they told us that we were walking into a war zone I would have disagreed on coming here." Alice shouted, Tandem agreeing with the long bushy haired girl.

Unlike the boat team the two of them didn't have any trouble with the soldiers for now, most likely because they were running down streets that had less soldiers patrolling and because they have no bounties on their heads. The only time they ever stopped was when Alice found a smartphone left behind by someone and went to pick it up, after she checked to make sure it worked (which it did) she and Tandem resumed running. Within Alice's head an idea on what to do with her new smartphone was forming, but first they need to get out of the town.

Dennis

Dennis was reasonably surprised when he peaked his head over the edge of the broken window just to be thrown backwards and into a nearby tree with more than enough strength to easily break a few bones and even get his right ankle twisted so horrendously in one of the stronger branches of the thing that it was made completely impossible to repair. This of course increased the Lich's fury but he quickly got a hold of himself one he saw the mist start appearing as he thought while hanging at such a angle that the knife he unsheathed almost feel down to the ground below him while the fake blood in his system began rushing to his brain..but he of course didn't feel this as he bent forward and began madly swinging at his leg or at least the branch. Yet this effort of course failed and caused the creature to take a few seconds of consideration.

Those seconds sadly turned into minutes as he randomly started swinging himself back and forth while his ankle made more than a few unpleasant sounds until he was finally able to get at a angle where he was able to cut the thing off. But this was of course followed by a sudden drop that was more than enough to break the back of his neck and the descent almost caused the mage to lose his dagger as well. Yet he was able to keep it, by inserting the thing's blade into his shoulder. Then after landing he pulled both of them out and looked up at the window as he began to consider why exactly the kitten decided to betray him while a faint voice in his head whispered that it was another one of the demon's strange ways of getting back at him. So he simply sighed as the last of his bones healed before he began to climb back up to the very window that caused his current but not very serious predicament.

Sadly, by the time he got up there the undead only saw a sort of dracula like mist float off into the distance. Then by the time he was fully up he saw the cat briefly glance back at him as he moved towards her before he was thrown halfway across the hallway yet again as the girl exited through a nearby window by politely opening it instead of breaking through it like he had done to the one behind him. So he of course followed and even ran past what seemed to be a meeting room as the soldier from before walked past him without meeting his eyes which caused his slight anger to already start going on the path to full blown fury due to the illogical state that was not only caused by his mad dash after a girl who casually ascended upwards but the tree that kept him hanging by his twisted ankle for far longer then he would be normally comfortable with which made him question why she put so much strength into such a simple toss.

This of course began bringing to mind that she might be planning someway to destroy their bond with the help of the soldier and fully kill him in the process. Which was more caused by his previous anger that slowly began to grow as every set of stairs that he climbed up briefly caused the demoness to escape his sight and the reemergence of his immense fear of betrayal which strangely caused him to become wrathful instead of cowardly as he barely noticed the mist that slowly began to cover his form. Then just as Dennis was getting close to the adolescent he was suddenly greeted by the figures of Elizabeth and Tessy who he really didn't leave on the best of terms. But what forced him to suddenly stop wasn't their appearance and the unconscious girl in the older woman's arms, but the completely absurd looking ears on the once human mage which caused the mist around him to fall a bit in it's intensity as his usual smile crept onto his face before he turned toward Galadriel and commented while the faint figure of the teen he had been chasing ascended behind him in a barely noticeable blur. "Oh, hey Glinda. Those ears really don't suit you..but that's beside the point. Because have any of you seen my feline companion?" Then the thief glanced at a fleeing servant before a second before he continued. "By the way, what exactly was that guy running from?" The undead began patiently waiting for a reply as the mist around him began to very slowly decrease in its intensity which started to bring at least some form of sanity back to him albeit slowly while he did his best to ignore the weird feeling he was now getting from his fellow magic-user as well.

Aeris

Aeris's smile twitched after hearing the goddess's comment yet she kept her cool and listened to what she missed in complete silence. The demonic feline didn't like the idea since it sounded completely absurd to her to say the very least. But the cat also knew that most beings herself included would be able to deal with those so called "bounty hunters" with ease except what worried ever so slightly was the fact that she still didn't have any of her demonic powers back even though she was working with the one who took them away. Which was far more absurd than their plan yet she ignored this and continued to listen nonetheless while barely keeping herself from falling asleep.

This sadly caused the rest of the meeting to move in a blur nonetheless up to the point where she heard something about a war yet she shrugged it off as their current world's problem and not her own. But after seeing the ex-mage freak out to the point that she went off to personally warn her fellow allies about it the demoness's smile fell slightly as she rose and was only able to hear something about them finding a ship before she left the room as well and immediately went for a nearby window. So when she noticed the undead thief the girl quickly decided that discovering just how dangerous a threat this war was to both her own and his safety was far more important than explaining to the idiot what her motives are as she climbed through the window and began ascending towards the roof.

The adolescent demon was of course surprised to see her summoner running after her with the frantic steps of a man who lost all of his sanity yet she shrugged it off since she figured that he'll at least be somewhat close to her when she takes a quick look at what exactly was going on around her. Then after a fair amount of time she slowed down for a second in order to regain a bit of energy before suddenly shooting herself upwards and landing on the roof with the elegant grace of a cat just as she heard the sound of a dropping bomb along with planes flying above the town which was horrendously loud even with her far more human hearing. So the ex-guardian quickly decided to stay in her current position as she carefully examined the ground below her and even noticed that the soldier was walking back and forth in front of the hotel for some reason. But she quickly shrugged this off as she patiently waited for something interesting to happen while also wondering just what was happening below her with the goddess and two other faintly familiar yet far weaker powers. Yet this was far less important, so she paid it little to no mind at all.

Adwith

Adwith was quickly starting to regret his hasty decision to guard the meeting as they simply continued talking yet again with little to no clear goal in mind. This caused Leonel to chuckle as he whispered. I do wonder why one of my fellow nobles has such a deep hatred of something as simple as this. Since all you really need to do soldier is sit back, listen, and occasionally comment. Because nothing is ever going to be done nonetheless..so why try to force the impossible? The Shienaran quickly froze as it was the first time he heard the long dead aes sedai comment on his status as a lord, but he quickly shrugged it off as he remembered the madman being there for a few of his introductions as he intended to continue listening but was only greeted by some information about a war before the mage turned into some sort of red mist and floated away.

This of course left the poor mercenary in a state of shock, but what only increased it was the fact that everyone else was alright with it. The voice in his head was baffled as well yet he quickly burst out laughing before saying something mocking that he only heard ever so faintly since the strange cat-like girl left as well which caused him to immediately follow her. Yet a sudden thought came into his head after he moved to follow her. What if that flaming army suddenly decides to attack us?! So the borderlander quickly rushed outside while ignoring the thrown thief completely since the two have shown already that their relationship is exactly that and even though it was strange to say the least he ignored it to the best of his ability and after finally getting outside he began considering what his patrol should be while the madman whispered. Oh, and here a took you for just a simple fool soldier. It seems as though you are the kind reckless fool who joins fights with little to no background knowledge in order to simply prove himself..well I guess it does make sense when one considers your age. This almost caused the man to respond..yet he ignored it with some effort. Since he had far more important things to do and after awhile he set himself on a patrol where he would simply walk back and forth in front of the hotel until the people who left came back. Since the man experienced more than his fair share of sneak attacks..and had not intent on letting such a thing happen to those he considered allies again, or at least not without doing something to slow them down of course.

Tenzou's hotel

Elizabeth stopped when she sensed both a dark and familiar aura, extending her arm in front of Tessy to stop her. "What is it Elizabeth? Did soldiers broke into the hotel?" the worried red skinned woman asked, holding her sleeping niece close to her. "No, I'm not sensing a human presence coming towards us. This presence is similar to a Daeva but... something is off with it." Elizabeth remember the time she sensed something close to a Daeva only to have it be that lich's demonic mist form, yet now she can sense something else from it. "Why does this feel too familiar?"

Elizabeth and Tessy saw Dennis and the two saw that he was entering the mist form, yet they can see that his form was dissipating once he saw them. Elizabeth focus her attention on the strange feeling she was getting from Dennis, the more she focused on that strange feeling from his power the less it began to feel like a Daeva. "No. The reason I thought of this feeling being similar to a Daeva was because of the demonic essence and power, also my senses weren't as powerful as they are now. Now that I can sense it again this isn't a Daeva... It almost feels like..." Elizabeth's train of thought was suddenly broken when Dennis called her by that strange nickname again and said that the ears don't suit her.

Grumbling she began to change them back to normal human ones. "I wasn't walking around with them for fashion, I was using them to hear out for the planes outside. To answer your question on why everyone is running around like scarred chickens is because there is a war coming and those planes are here to bomb us all to hell. Speaking of hell your hell cat was with me in the meeting room but after that I have no idea because I was the first to leave once I heard about the war. But she did use the stairs behind your back." Elizabeth responded back.

She caught Aeris fleeing from the undead mage. "So I take it that you two are having a fight huh? That is rough mate. All I can tell you is try to patch things up before it's too late and your demonic friend sends your bony arse to the underworld and use your skull as a cup." Elizabeth was scratching the back of her head, when she lower her arm down it changed into the exoskeletal arm with claws back in the meeting room. Elizabeth rose her arm up and slowly scratch on the wall, making a terrible wood splitting noise and leaving three large claw marks on the wall.

Elizabeth wanted to see how Dennis will responded to this change, she wanted to get a better feel for the strange power inside of him. "Elizabeth! I know a war is going to come and this place will be destroyed by it but it doesn't mean we can destroy our hosts home." Tessy said to Elizabeth, wondering what on Earth made her decide to scratch on the wall.

Alice and Tandem continue to run through the streets, they knew they were close to the path that would take them back to the hotel. However their luck on avoiding the soldiers soon came to an end when they found a check point being guarded by a few troops, they also saw a few speeder bikes and recon walkers near by. The two looked nervously at the checkpoint but sallow down their anxiousness and walked forward to the line that was at the checkpoint.

As each minute passed the two heard more explosion and screaming from somewhere in the town, those two noises joining the endless buzzing of planes flying above them. Alice was being reminded of those old WW2 film reels of the London Blitz. By the time the two were next they both let out a sigh of relief, but it didn't last once they heard the soldier speak. "Show me your passports." the soldier ordered. This soldier wore the same trenchcoat as the one met by the boat team but he wore a helmet, safety goggles and a bandana to cover his mouth.

The two of them were scared stiff, they had no such passports. Alice knew she could create two with her new powers but she found that the magic weakening atmosphere of the world was interfering with her powers. "Passports? Surely you jest. Have you not seen that there are planes above us blowing everything below them? You can't keep people trapped in just because they lack a silly piece of paper." Tandem said in a demanding tone, making some of the soldiers around him nervous. Yet the helmet and sunglasses wearing soldier was not fazed.

"Listen here you little shit. Our job is to maintain order no matter what. So what a few buildings are on fire and there are planes whizzing about, that no good excuse for people to disobey the law. Don't forget that we are the ones who are being payed to defend your pathetic lives and in exchange for your safe, comfortable lives all we ask is for you to obey our demands. So I will say it again, show me your fucking passports." the soldiers bark back, now infuriated at Tandem's insolence.

"Well me and my friend lost ours when a bomb was dropped on our home. Surely you can't fault us for that?" Tandem asked, coming up with the lie on the spot. "I can you arrogant piece of shit. You know better to work out without them. Take these two troublemakers away." Suddenly a few soldiers grabbed them and forced their arms behind them, ready to cuff the two. Tandem used his strength enhancing implants just as the cuffs were on him, breaking both it and breaking free from the soldier's grasps. The stunned soldiers never had a chance to react as Tandem punched them into unconsciousness.

Alice instead of breaking the cuffs send out a voltage of electricity that electrocuted the soldiers that placed the cuffs on her along with the ones touching her, which she found was a worthy way to handle them since some of the soldiers try to cup a feel on her breast and ass. The soldiers screamed in pain and their bodies seized, when their bodies fell most would think that they died but they were still very much alive. Tandem went to Alice and broke the cuffs for her.

"Thanks." she said with a smile. Soon gunshots rang and the two turn to the other soldiers. "How about we take those two walkers after we teach these soldiers the price of being wankers?" Alice said with a smirk. "I say that is the second best plan I heard in this world." Tandem retorted back. Tandem ran far faster than any human being can ever could, using both his enhanced speed and strength to not only injured the soldiers but sending them flying while knocking them out.

Alice wasn't showing complete superhuman feat but her reaction time was well enough to dodge the path of incoming bullets. Every time she touched a soldier they will be electrocuted into unconsciousness. The two heard the walkers moving to their position and sure enough the recon walkers were here. The speeder bikes were moving circles around them and the sunglasses wearing soldier along with a few soldiers were on top of the catwalk that was a part of the checkpoint gate, next to him was a woman was struggling to break free from his hold on her. Down on the group were more soldiers pointing their rifles at the two of them with other two holding back two kids, screaming for their mother who was being used as hostage.

The man was using a heavily modified revolver that was designed to suppress the gas released within, making it silent even without a suppressor. "Alright you two this is what's going to happen. Unless you two enjoy having a woman's life end because of your crimes you two will stand down and be taken to custody quietly. Do that and this lovely woman and her children will continue to enjoy their lives in peace." The two of them snared at the man, who minutes ago talked so much on maintain order was now acting like a lowlife crook.

The wanted to call him out on his hypocrisy and insult him but as he moved the chamber of his revolver the two stayed silent. "Now get on your knees and put you hands behind your heads were I can see them." the two of them did so. "Good, you two trouble makers are capable of learning. You have no use anymore ma'am." without warning the soldier shot the woman on the head. The children cried out for their mother and Alice and Tandem looked at the sight with horror, but soon anger replaced it.

Alice screamed in rage and metal tentacles came out from her body, impaling many soldiers on the ground and catwalk, the two on the speeder bikes and recon walkers while leaving their vehicles on harmed, save for the bikes who flew off and crashed. Alice raised their bodies into the air and delivered an electrical current so strong that their bodies began to cook on the inside out, some combusting into flames. Tandem used his enhanced speed and strength to run around and attack the soldiers, this time he was out for blood.

He snapped some of the soldier's neck, punch through their chests and broke many of their bones to leave them defenseless on the ground right before he stomped and crush their skulls. He even picked some of them off the ground and threw them with so much force that when they hit the wall they left a blood smear. The only one left was the sunglasses soldier who looked at the carnage of the two people who in his mind were monsters. He knew he couldn't harm the two so he pointed his gun to his head to kill himself but several metal tentacles grabbed him and deliver a weak volt that it force him to drop his gun. He saw Alice change into her eldritch form.

"Please don't kill me. I'm sorry for the woman. I can let the two of you go if you spare me, you'll like that right? I'll even tell my superiors that nothing happened and that my men got very drunk on the job and started to beat each other to death. I'll even pay you both." the man pleaded, now visibly crying as he said anything that will make the she-monster spare him. Instead of getting a response from Alice he received an electrical shock similar to the one given to by death row inmates, the shock at first was causing instant pain but as the voltage increased the more his organs began to act on their own and shut down, he even soiled himself before even died.

Once the body was a smoking, charred, corpse Alice let him go, her rage now replaced by a vacant look. Tandem went over to the kids were now afraid of him but still upset about their mother. It took him a while but he manage to get them to calm down and trust him. He walked up to Alice and knew that she was not alright, how can she? This was the first time she ever took a life. "Alice we need to take the kids with us. You don't mind having a partner for the ride back to the hotel?" Alice looked at Tandem and then down at the kids, giving them a small smile. "I don't mind." she replied back.

Once the two found the way on getting on the walkers they used them to get back to the hotel. By the time they enter the front door anyone who greeted them will find Tandem covered in blood, Alice having the scent of burnt ozone and two traumatized and upset children. "We're back. We got what we needed but we ran into trouble along the way." Tandem said, looking at Alice as she never said a word during their trip back.

Tenzou's hotel

"Oh, damn"…

Henry looked on at the two who had returned, his eyes wide open as they showed up in their walker. Clearly, this was a rather bizarre sight, even for someone seasoned like him.

"Bring those kids inside", said the biker pirate, going out into the cold backyard despite the bombing, the slowly increasing snowfall, and his lack of upper body clothing. "We'll attend to those wounds."

Skodat Lorvayyl was a lanky, severely underweight man who was way beyond the average height of normal humans, standing at 210cm. He wore a Hawaiian shirt and a pair of extremely baggy, light coloured jeans, and had two top hats stacked on top of his head. A bright yellow fur was draped across his shoulders, and he had a lime green glove on his left hand.

"So", he said, looking at the three. "You want to attempt Ogsmeina?"

"That's right", said Felix. He held out his palm, in which sat a 1kg gold bar, worth almost £300,000. "This will be payment. Do recommend a ship for us, Mr Lorvayyl."

The lanky man smiled amiably with a tinge of salaciousness in the corners of his mouth. He opened up a catalogue book and pointed to a picture of a small steam-powered, iron hulled frigate.

"This is the Madagascar III", said Lorvayyl with the air of a father showing off his child's achievements. "She's old, but she's been tested in battle and survived encounters against much bigger ones. Maximum speed of 48 knots, 32 guns, crew capacity of 90, though you only need around 35 to 45 to run 'er well."

"We'll take her", said Wong. Felix tossed the block of gold over to Lorvayyl.

"I'll go get her", he said, climbing into a jet ski and riding off. "You guys wait here!!!"

The three turned around to face a squad of armed soldiers marching over with their swords drawn.

"This dock is hereby seized by the Republic of Lernek", said the sergeant lazily. "All of you are to leave immediately, in the name of President Yomiow of Lernek."

"Like hell we will", scoffed Josiah, rolling up his sleeves and grinning wildly.

"Watch your defence", cautioned Master Wong, spinning his bamboo pole and holding it poised. "You don't want a bayonet in your belly."

"We're having such a fun day", said Felix lazily, picking up a chair and holding it in one hand as a weapon.

Tenzou's hotel

The two of them wordlessly went inside. Once inside Tandem command the smart materials in his clothing to wash away the blood and so they did, even the scent of the blood was gone. Alice had no splashes of blood on her nor holes from the tentacles on her clothing, but she still smell like burnt ozone. The kids only have bruises from being roughly manhandled by the soldiers, otherwise the real wounds that they sustained were psychological.

"Henry these kids have no mother. She was murdered in front of their eyes." Tandem solemnly explained. Tandem then told Henry what happened to them when they went to the shop and what happened at the checkpoint. Tandem left out the part where he and Alice kissed as he didn't want to embarrass Alice in front of the biker and he wasn't quite sure what to make of their relationship to even mention something like that.

"Me and Alice are suppose to be in the support team yet here we are probably having a larger bounty than the fighters." Tandem said, looking down. Tandem was in past situations where he was forced to kill a sapient being and while he never likes it he has learn to get use to it in order to survive. What's bothering him is both the kids and Alice. The kids shouldn't have loss their mother that way nor see her die a gruesome death in front of them and knew that this was the first time Alice ever killed a person.

Sure they shared stories of past fights but in them she was never thrown into a life and death situations where she was forced to kill in order to survive. Alice went over to the kids and got down to their level. "I'm sorry we couldn't save your mother. We thought that if we listened to that man's demands we would save her, we didn't know that he was going to do that. Of we did we could have-..." Before Alice can finish the kids suddenly hugged her and began to cry, she return back the hugs and let her own tears fall.

Tandem turn away from the sight and looked at Henry. "So where are we going now since the hotel is no longer safe?" Tandem was now carrying the bags that contained all the need for their secret project.

Tenzou's hotel

It was just as Tandem asked his question that Tenzou appeared, coming down from the stairs and running his graceful hand along the banister. He walked towards the door, before shutting it and taking one of the children under his arms.

"We head for the Lunemura Republic", said Tenzou. "Among the twenty countries in Chphlyggnu, the Lunemura Republic is probably the least of all twenty evils. Their government may be autocratic and totalitarian (just like almost every other one here), but at the very least, they are uncorrupted and can actually get things done. At least, compared to the other 19. I propose that is where we head. Besides, it's a short journey; just a few hundred kilometres north."

"Well", said Henry, "you're the one who knows this world best. I say we follow your recommendations. If my motorcycles… wife and kids… If my wife and kids were here, they'd agree with me too. I'm sure of it. Those in favour, raise your hands!"

Kaidō, sitting groggily in a seat, wearily stuck his palm into the air. Hiccup thrust his hand into the air excitedly, and Mera simply let off an elegant, confident chuckle that indicated her decision corresponded with the others'.

"I think we have enough votes, then", said Tenzou. He turned to face the others. "What say you? The journey should only be about a week at most, depending on the speed of our ship and the choppiness of the sea. If you're all in favour, we'll set off the moment the trio get back with the ship."

It was just then that a man wearing a 2nd Lieutenant rank marched up towards the gate of the house and invited himself inside pompously, wearing a white kid glove on one hand, which he used to carry his excessively tasselled sword. His other hand, which was bare, he used to brush his epaulette.

"I am 2nd Lieut. Ranen Boros", declared the man, walking up beside the walker and towards Henry, who had opened the door upon hearing the officer open the gate. "By order of General Umaku of the Lernek Republic's army, this house is to become the property of the Army. You are to hand it over at once or face military action."

"Who are you?" remarked Henry rudely, cocking his head and looking squarely at the officer.

"Excuse me?" the officer asked indignantly.

"How will we benefit if we give this house to you?"

"Shut up!" yelled the officer, puffing up his chest, which was conspicuously free of medals (save for a simple looking one that seemed to be of little value). "You have no right to talk back to an officer of the Lernek Republic's army. I will see to it that-"

He couldn't complete his sentence, for Henry had planted a fist in 2LT Boros' face. The glamorous officer fell backwards into the snow and looked up at the massively muscular biker pirate with an expression of disgust and fear.

"How dare you…"

Without waiting for anything, Henry seized the officer's sword and, much to the latter's horror, held it and thrusted his pelvis at it in a sexually suggestive manner.

"Stop!" screamed Boros, scrambling about recklessly in the snow at a complete loss. "You can't disrespect the army of the-"

"You disrespect me, I disrespect you", said Henry Saladass tersely. He stopped his thrusting motions, before snapping the blade of the sword and tossing it aside. 2LT Boros ran off, down the street, sobbing and burying his face in his hands. With that, the biker turned back to face the others.

"We would have been evicted anyways", he said, shrugging. "Might as well give him a bit of trouble while we're at it, yes?"

The Harbour

The sergeant pointed his sword at the group and shouted at the men lazily, ordering them to charge forward, which they did. The moment they stepped off the cobbles and onto the wooden planks of the pier, Master Wong leapt into the air agilely (for a man of his build and height), whirling his bamboo pole about in the air. At the same moment, Felix charged forward, wielding the chair in an indescribable manner, using the legs and backrest as weapons with which he could deflect the soldiers' hits.

As soon as they were given the all-clear to open fire by the sergeant, Master Wong landed back on the ground and charged around the front of the squad in a semicircle, deflecting the bullets fired at the group by the soldiers. One of the soldiers attempted to charge at Wong, but ended up with Josiah's foot in his abdomen, sending him flying backwards. The footprint of a flip-flop was left on his otherwise white uniform.

It wasn't long before only the sergeant was left, gripping his sword and attempting to find a way to flee.

"Don't make me do this…" he warned shakily. "If I survive, I will make sure your bounties increase tenfold!"

"We don't care about that", said Felix, wielding the wooden chair (now with only two legs left) skilfully. "We wanna know what's going on."

The sergeant screamed in terror for no apparent reason and dropped his sword on the floor, before running away.

"We could probably fight our way out if he brings more reinforcements", said Master Wong, scratching his chin. "The problem is if our bounties attract powerful bounty hunters to our location."

"Perhaps we should get going ASAP?" asked Felix.

That moment, a horn blasted throughout the harbour as the silhouette of a steam vessel appeared near the horizon, stopping and laying anchor. Felix used the rudimentary amount of magic he had on Chphlyggnu to create a telescope, with which he interpreted the message flashed from the ship.

"Mr Lorvayyl says that our ship is ready, and that we can bring our crew down anytime. For now, he'll guard it. He also says not to worry; he is a Devil Fruit user."

Dennis

Dennis's grin grew after observing Elizabeth's immediate reaction while also trying to ignore how effortlessly she changed her elf-like ears back to normal. Yet the thing fell slightly after hearing about the planes and nearly disappeared completely after hearing about both the war and chance that they might be bombed. But it rose a bit after hearing that Aeris was close and after glancing at the window behind him he turned to thank the woman when he was both greeted by a extremely unpleasant noise and a completely inhuman arm with claws that only added to the effect.

This of course surprised the Lich but not the point where he panicked since his memory was already starting to get back to normal and he had both seen and done weirder things in the past. That and the fact that the noise didn't really damage his ears since there really wasn't any real ears to damage. Thankfully, his usual grin returned after hearing Tessy's response while the mist decreased ever so slightly as he said. "Well thanks for the information..and for that noise as well." Then the thief paused to a seconds as glanced at her arm before pointing at it and blatantly asking. "Soo, are you alright? Since I really don't think that arms are supposed to look like that." So the mage quickly decided to wait for the strange woman's response before he went in search of the kitten, even though a part of him still screamed that something was extremely wrong with his fellow mage he ignored this completely as he patiently waited for that very response.

Aeris

Aeris was scouting when a sudden thought occurred to her. Wait, if one of those bombers decided to attack this hotel then I will be one of the first beings hit. So the demonic feline casually hoped over to a nearby tree while trying not to linger on the fact that she thought that staying on the roof of a fairly large building during a air raid was a good idea. Then the cat noticed a few fairly strange vehicles approaching them and before she retreated back into the house she sensed two fairly familiar powers. This of course peaked her curiosity and the fact that one of them was even covered in blood increased such a thing substantially. So after the two entered the demoness decided to wait for a couple of minutes before using her abilities with air to casually descend to the ground below before promptly following them.

This of course caused the girl to appear shortly after Tenzou himself had so immediately after entering she silently closed the doors behind and leaned on a wall a fair distance away from them but still more then close enough to hear what the strange man was saying. Then after hearing his fairly strange suggestion she simply sighed as a few already began agreeing with him as she thought. At least it will be safer then this war zone. Then after the man casually said that the ride should only be about a week the adolescent demon hesitated for a second but after he finished speaking and after ignoring both the spectacle with the officer and Henry's comment completely she simply shrugged before responding in a equally bored tone of voice. "Not the best idea I have heard all day..but certainly not the worse either." Then the ex-guardian began looked around the gathered group for her summoner and after failing to find him she quickly remembered where she last saw him and decided to check that place once the trio returned with their ship.

Adwith

Adwith was surprised by the sudden appearance of strange beings with excessively long legs but he was even more surprised when they were revealed to be some sort of vehicle. Then after the ever so familiar scent of blood reached his nostrils before the four completely ignored him the Shienaran took a second to regain his composure before moving to enter. Which was when he noticed the adolescent quite literally flouting down to the ground below before promptly entered the hotel. So the borderlander blinked in surprise before both shaking his head and questioning his sanity as he follow the strange girl.

Then after hearing about there plan while still wondering what exactly he witnessed the mercenary opened his mouth to state his approval just as a strange man in uniform rudely entered before being eventually kicked out by the man who seriously needed some sort of shirt. Then after the strange woman currently resting on a nearby wall stated his approval he followed shortly afterwards by stating simply. "It sounds more then a little flaming absurd, but I agree that it is more then likely our best course of action as well." Then the sellsword positioned himself on a wall near the door at such a angle where he would be able to close it without being hit in the face by the thing every time someone decided to rush in at the same time.

Jason

When Jason heard the flying machines, he had already sensed in the Calm that there was trouble. He ran outside and, sensing the panic of some of the others, he decided to take action.. he began to run in a circle, his speed increasing boundlessly, to the point that he was practucally a twister, then he launched himself into the air and landed on one of the flying machines, and without even hesitating, he cut one of its wings clean off, and jumped to the next one and proceeded to do the same with it, within 5 seconds, he had downed all of them, and could sense that there would be a brief intermission before more came. He landed sliding down the building and jumped lithely through the a window and landed in front of Elizabeth, a flying machine crashing behind him, though he knew noone but the pilot was hurt by it. "Men using machines to fly...odd magic...but no match for me. Is everyone safe?" he asked, then looked around him. "You know, if i must, I'll end this whole war thing quickly. you cant fight a war all your troops dead, all i need is a just half a minute, and we'll all be safe. give me 45 seconds, and i'll also have the Serpent dead and the resulting earthquake stopped. I don't need a boat." Jason had an unhappy look upon his face, he didnt like war, and wanted nothing to do with it, but for the safety of others, if he had to, he would put it ALL to a stop.

Crowe

Crowe frowned as a list of Dark songs filled his head. "I....I can protect us if things get ugly, i know a song that will keep everyone safe....but you may not like it..." he said, turning to Veira, seeing if this was what she wanted. Crowe, like Fauna, as he was sure this was a bard thing, was not affected by the magic dampening this realm had. his power was far stronger than some universal magic dampener, any bard's was. But it was also that fact that was worry some, a bard in battle was a move that could not be undone. very little can match a bard in a fight, not even gods ....

Gabriel

Gabriel heard the airplanes, but yawned. "Can we get on with it already? you spend time yapping about boring bounty hunters and shit, and not about just going out and stealing this jewel. i say screw planning, just go for it, it's always worked out for me. Bounty Hunters are a joke. i think that Jason fellow would agree. they aren't a threat to anybody but us normal folk. Oh wait, ain't none of us normal folk except little straw-hat over there. Come on! where's your sense of adventure? caution is for those who achieve nothing, danger is for those who actually live...."

Tenzou's army

"Oh this?" Elizabeth said as she looked down at her arm like it was a normal appendage. She then transformed into her eldritch form right before the lich's eyes, however she now has six arms, black metal horns and small fangs. Her wings instead of being like that of a fallen angels were now similar to a bat and she had a long arrow tipped whip-like tail. "Well let's just say I was never a normal mage to begin with." she said with a grin as she moved her hands behind her and held them together as she lean forward. Elizabeth's tail moved left and right in a hypnotic fashion, even Tessy couldn't keep her eyes away from it.

Elizabeth can sense something and was about to protect both Tessy and Dennis from a bomb when said bomb came crashing through the window and revealed itself to be Jason. "Bloody hell, you nearly scarred me and Tes half to death with that arrival." Elizabeth went over and grabbed Jason, lifting him up and shaking him so the dust on him would dissipate and leave his body. Elizabeth put him down and patted his clothes to get rid of whatever patches of dust was left. Soon she was ruffling his hair. "You and me may hate each other's guts but we both can agree on one thing. If there should be anywhere around let it be a make believe game or a prank war or hell a flame war on the Internet. At least with those wars you don't have thousands of young men dying on the battlefield."

The way Elizabeth said that sentience made it clear that she shared Jason's opinion on war. "I would join you on taking out the Bijj Blitz but I can't leave my girlfriend and her nice alone. They come before this place, you understand right?" she asked the man, moving away from him as her tail wrap around her waist and her wings fold around her like a cloak.

Alice and Tandem heard the plan to move to another country and how long it would take. "A week seems very long and I have a feeling some of our magical team members won't like having their magic weaken for that long. Plus the trip is long in of itself and there are many ways this trip can go wrong. But for now this option is the most logical one so I will vote for it." Alice murmur a yes for the plan, she was done crying.

"Alice I think you should tell Elizabeth about this vote. I think we need to tell the others as well." Alice agreed and soon she turn into a bioluminescent wisp and left to find her cousin. "I think me and Alice will use the week at sea to complete our project. It should take her mind off what happened at the checkpoint. I feel terrible that had to happen and she was forced to take someone's life even if they were a terrible person. As you can tell this is the first time she ever took a life." The Moon sisters spoke after Tandem. "Tandem is right that we hate being in this world any longer but we rather be in a new land where things are much safer and less corrupt, so we vote for the change in scenery." the replied. Before Alice left she heard about what Gabriel said about just charging in after the vermin, she knew that he and Elizabeth won't get along since Ellie is the type to never act without a plan and a back up plan encase the first one fails.

Tandem turn to Gabriel. "I have a sense of adventure but I also like to side on the air of caution, especially since we are dealing with a beast that has been undefeated for a long time and who is weakening most of our team members who use magic. Also they are a joke to you but for us who have bounties on our heads we find it hard to find the matter funny." Tandem said in a exasperated tone, not really in the mood to deal. "You may want to rethink that normal comment, not everyone follows the same idea of what normal is. I'm well aware that my normal probably doesn't match with half the people in this room." The moon sisters agreed with him.

Veria can tell that Crowe was bothered with whatever song he was talking about. She walked forward and grabbed his hand. "Thank you Crowe but I will not force you to do something that you don't want to just to protect my life. We will find another way to protect ourselves. I may not be Alzis but I still have it's powers." she said with a smirk, trying to cheer him up. Veria opened the door and saw the bioluminescent form of Alice fly by.

"First a mist of blood now a wisp of light." she turned to Crowe. "Let's see where our little light show is going to." she then lead Crowe down the halls to follow the wisp.

Alice finally arrived at the sight, surprising many in her form and transformation. "Man that was weird." Elizabeth made the comment of she will get use to it. Alice looked at the two of them and told Elizabeth about the plan to move to a new country and Gabriel's "plan" to lead people out. Before Elizabeth can speak Tessy beat her. "You want me to go with him." Elizabeth gave her a sad, tiny smile. "I really want to stay with you Tes but I also want to take down these planes. I may not end the war but I can lessen the amount of innocent people those bastards will kill by taking their lives."

She walked over and carcass her face gently so her claws don't cut Tessy's cheek. "If this guy is as lucky as he claims than you will be safe. I said it before that your safety is my number one priority in this dumb quest and I want to keep it even when I'm not around." Tessy didn't say anything for a while, finally she lean forward and kiss Elizabeth on the lips. "Promise me that you will come back in one piece." Elizabeth grin at her. "Healing factor remember." Tessy smiled. "Than come back without looking like a mangled walking corpse." Elizabeth pressed her forehead onto Tessy. "Deal." with one last kiss Tessy finally departed from the group and went to find the lucky thief.

Once Elizabeth turn to Alice she can sense that something was wrong with her favorite cousin. "What's wrong Alice?" Alice wanted to say nothing, but seeing into Elizabeth's eyes and the amount of worry and care made her break down and confess what happened to her and Tandem at the checkpoint. About the hostage situation and how it ended and how she ended up taking several lives with one she practically torture until she finally killed him.

Elizabeth was quiet over the news, she was heartbroken to hear what happened to Alice and was angry at the soldiers for what they did to her, Tandem and the kids and their mother. Elizabeth went to Alice and hugged her. "Things aren't as black and white as they are Alice. Yes taking a human life should never be easy but those men were complete tossers if they can willing make two children watch their own mother's death at their hand. Not only did you save more lives be getting rid of them but what you did was self defense." Elizabeth continue to whisper more words to Alice to calm her down and to make her feel less depressed about what happened.

Eventually Alice calmed down and wipe away her tears. "Now Alice can you do me a favor. I know that you and Tandem can defend each other and Gaby is a lucky bastard, but can you keep a watch on Tessy in my stead?" Alice agreed. Elizabeth then closed her eyes and smiled at her. "Also promise me that when you and Tandem finally decide to do it you will use protection right." that comment caused Alice to blush furiously and for her to throw wild punches at Elizabeth which she dodged while laughing. A rather terrible thing to say after hearing what happened to her but Elizabeth wanted Alice to think of something else instead of the check point.

Soon Alice said her goodbyes to Elizabeth, Jason and Dennis and left. Elizabeth turn to Jason. "Listen I know you think I'm a kid but don't think the same of Alice. She never had the same life as you and me, she never had to kill another human being just to stay alive." Elizabeth turn away from him. "She idolize me, well she idolizes the part of me that is related to the glamour and mystique of magic, the supernatural, mysteries and adventure. I tried my best to make sure she doesn't walk my path, so she doesn't make the same mistakes that I made. But my plans and efforts always backfire in the end. Before she changed she hunted down everything she can find on the paranormal even if most of the times she found nothing and she learn a few working rituals. For my family magic is a family secret and gift, but it is also a curse. Because along with the occult being attached to the Ashwood family there is also criminality and insanity."

Elizabeth turned to Jason. "Obviously I have a very, very, colorful family tree. I bet I'm boring you with this boring crap. But I'm still joining you on taking out those planes and nothing you say will convince me to leave." In a fair but close distance was both Veria and Crowe who she brought along, they heard everything that happened. When Alice was going back she looked at Veria and from her gaze it was obvious that even she can tell that Veria had changed. "I'm starting to think that my idea to keep the Alzis act isn't going to work. Also we may have heard far too much private information from those two." she looked at Crowe. "So do we follow our bushy hair friend and go with the thief or do you have a different plan?"

Tenzou's hotel

"It won't be that great an idea", said Tenzou to Jason. "There are numerous political ramifications of doing so, ramifications which have to be carefully considered. It is these that many Ogsmeinahmān fail to consider."

"And let's not forget", added Steiner, slowly sliding down the banister of the staircase on his socked feet (and gingerly trying to balance himself) upon emerging from the planning room upstairs, "that we've got the likes of General Danashili on the loose. Not to mention the possibility of facing a hit man second only to Iuzun. If you ask me, it never hurts to take a little bit more precaution when it comes to moving out base of operations. After all…" The boy waddled over to the table and flipped himself onto it, squatting in an uncomfortable-looking position and gazing in Gabriel's general direction, but not at him in particular. "We have to make provisions for our 'normal' members too."

"But then we'd have such a boring trip", bemoaned Henry. "I'll have nothing to tell my motorcycles… wife and kids… when I get back home."

"Keep in mind that our main purpose is to go after the Jewel to slow down the demon onslaught, which Ludwig, Master Leung, and so on are trying to help us with", said Steiner, twirling his hair and gazing blankly at nothing in particular. "Besides, think about it; even if we do move to Lunemura, we'll still have to deal with government forces along the way, so Gabriel here would still get to have fun. Not to mention the fact that Danashili is conformed to be on the loose; she has a habit of appearing randomly all over the place."

"Since everybody's overwhelmingly in favour of going to the Lunemura Republic", said the elvish proprietor of the hotel, sipping at a fiery smelling mulled wine, "then we will leave as soon as we can. Getting in should be easy too, so we won't have to worry too much about being-"

"How do you know?" asked Henry, walking back into the hotel with one of his eyebrows raised sceptically.

"You see", said Tenzou, "the President of Lunemura believes that manpower is essential to the growth of a nation. As a result of his beliefs, which he puts into practise, he is the only one of Chphlyggnu's leaders who maintains open borders. In fact, his administration maintains what is known as the Forgiveness Doctrine; according to this Doctrine, any non-Lunemuran bounty held by an individual will be suspended for the duration of the person's stay in the Lunemura Republic provided the person in question makes an appeal to the Supreme Council."

Henry looked at the elf incredulously.

"So we're protected from bounty hunters as long as we stay in Lunemura?"

"Theoretically, no. Bounty hunters may attack anywhere they want. But the suspension of the bounties would provide some amount of diplomatic immunity, which certainly trumps having nothing."

"Ah."

Tenzou smiled at Henry, finishing the rest of his drink and sitting down in the chair. The silence of the surroundings following Jason's indiscriminate downing of the aircraft was stunning.

"We just have to wait for Josiah and the rest to… Oh. They seem to have run into a bit of trouble."

It was at that moment that the three who had left to find a ship returned.

"Okay guys", said Master Wong. "We've got a pretty decent ship on our hands now, but we'd best get going. Our seller is defending the ship from the two opposing armies, and we don't want to trouble him."

"Your bounty is growing at an exponential rate, Mr Wong", remarked Tenzou jokingly yet caustically. Turning to the rest of the group and ignoring Master Wong's confused expression, the elf said to the rest, "Let's go now. We shan't waste any more time."

"Yes!" bellowed Henry, puffing his chest out. "Me and my motorcycles- no- me and my wife and kids are so excited! Well… if they were here with us, that is."

Chphlyggnu
Lunemura Republic
Port 622F

The sight of a small, battered fishing boat could easily be seen by the guards standing at the watchtowers, all armed and clad in winter coats and hats. As the snow relentlessly whipped across the air, coating the soldiers and pretty much everything in sight, the fishing boat pulled closer and closer to the port, before finally being approached by coastguard vessels, which guided the boat towards a docking point next to a small warship. The sound of screaming and loud, commanding voices could be heard.

Inside the ship

A small group of about 7 men were huddled around a crude electric heater in the middle of the fishing boat's lower deck. Rusted swords and a single pistol were jammed into a barrel, and a single, foul smelling mattress sat in the corner. Apart from those, no other furniture was present.

"We're in deep shit", said one of the men.

"Captain Bart's lost his bloody mind", said another, with a slightly Chinese twang. "Why'd he bring us on a trip just to bring us back here? With a bounty on his head, what's more."

Bart, a scruffy man who smelled rather like alcohol (though he didn't drink), sat at a corner, apart from his seven (remaining) men, sipping at a mug of dank water.

"I've told you faggots", he said roughly. "I know what I'm doing. There's no need to worry-"

It was at that moment that a squad of soldiers in crisp, smart white uniforms entered the lower deck of the ship and pointed their rifles at the group. As the seven men silently stood up and raised their hands in the air, Bart finished the rest of the water in his mug and climbed groggily to his feet, shambling over to the squad of soldiers.

"I wish to appeal", he said, swallowing nervously, "to the Supreme Council."

That moment, another man in a similar white uniform (with more ribbons and badges, as well as a higher rank) stepped into the lower deck, his facial expression revealing his disgust at the stale, odoriferous smell of the lower deck. He adjusted his maroon beret and went closer to Bart.

"You want to appeal?"

Bart nodded, his expression grave and solemn.

The uniformed squad commander seized the man's face with his white gloved hand.

"Captain Bart Besserunia", snarled the commander, "Wanted for piracy, rape, and with a bounty of £52,000. I'd cut your filthy, thieving head off right now, but fortunately for you, President Sykes is sympathetic to your ilk, ergo I have to bring you to Banzen to await the suspension of your bounty. Count yourself lucky, criminal scum."

With that, the commander released Bart's face and turned around, waving his hand. The soldiers instantly went forward and cuffed the eight men's hands tightly behind their backs, before blindfolding them and dragging them out of the boat.

The port

Image

"Hurry! It's bloody cold, you know???"

The eight men were led by the same squad onto a truck, where another squad of similarly dressed soldiers loaded them on, before driving off to who knew where. The relentless blizzards continued to sweep snow all over the place.

Tenzou's hotel

"If this vermin kills us than it won't matter what political ramification happens to us, but if we do kill it than all of those governments will fall. So I don't see a reason why we should worry about what those bastards think." Alice venomously said, still furious about her encounter with the soldier that she and Tandem ran into. Tandem was shocked to hear Alice speak like that along with her tone as he never saw her this angry before.

"Alice I know you're angry about what happened back there but we should at least follow this man's advice. Besides half the team is affected by the atmosphere of this world and I know you are also affected as well." Alice look down, knowing that Tandem is right. "Sorry.. I know that we should keep our heads low as much as possible but..." Tandem stroke her hair. "I know Alice. We'll make sure that this republic is one of the first to fall once that vermin is gone." Tandem said to soothe his friend's anger. Once she sighed he knew that he got her to relax but he can still tell that it would take a lot more for her to truly recover from what had happened.

Once it was revealed that bounty hunters will still come after them despite moving to Lunemura the two knew that more conflict was going to come their way. The two gloom adventurers soon saw the others return and hear the news of them now having a boat. "I'll get everyone else who hasn't heard the new to move their butts on the road." Alice said, now a bit more chipper as she ran off to find Elizabeth and Dennis first.

Star Destroyer Mikasa

The mighty Fate-Class Star Destroyer Mikasa, lead by general Jensen Wu, was badly damaged and now being chased by a small squadron of Chinese warships. However the the condition of the Mikasa was not brought upon by the Chinese or the Japanese, in fact it was doing well against them, yet it's battle victories did not spare it from one threat that dealt the ship several near fatal blows that have weaken it severely.

Wu hated seeing the ship this badly damaged, Wu may have left his old life behind but he still missed his wife and as such named the ship after her. Wu is a tiny, fit-looking Chinese man who dresses conservatively in vests and trousers. His long, wispy, gray hair is held back in a loose ponytail, and he is never without his day-planner. After years of losing it, he now
refuses to let it out of his sight except under the most dire circumstances. Wu's demeanor is disquieting. His assuredness and quiet confidence, even now he refuses to show fear as the crew around him is beginning to panic.

"General the caption of the enemy fleet is trying to establish contact with us. They claim they will stop firing if we do. Should we listen to them sir?" asked a young Japanese communications officer "Patch them through." was Wu's response. Soon another voice can be heard clearly as the Chinese ships encircle the damaged Star Destroyer. "Wu you traitorous dog. Not only have you betrayed us to The Fates but you also have the balls on invading your old home. I can't tell if working with those mad men has made you insane or stupid? Maybe you have a death wish?" Wu didn't give in to the other generals accusations or insults.

"I know that after my departure I should have never step foot in this world ever again. I was a young and foolish man, so hungry on knowing the inner most secrets of existence and reality that when the devil known as Alzis came to me to learn more about existence I was ensnared by his words and magic. But his shadow empire of criminal network, debts and black magic is falling apart and I wish to join back to atone for my sins and betrayal." Wu stated, making the general at the other end silent.

"You want to join back?" laughter can be heard at the other end. "Why on Earth should we allow a turncoat to come back now that he is double crossing yet another employer? Face it Wu, your gonna have to give us a big reason why we shouldn't blast you all the way to hell where you belong?" Wu had a small smirk form. "I know the location of a secret Fate outpost that Alzis made used some paid workers. He made it long before the invasion and was planing on using it for the first strike but communications delay caused it to not responded once the main fleet arrived." Wu explained, no doubt surprising many Chinese in the fleet.

For a while Wu didn't hear anything from them. "Go on." was the response he got. "When we finally got a response we couldn't hear much from them but from what we gathered something was attacking them. Seeing from your response none of you knew about the outpost until I mentioned it so Maju's army must have done it or the demons. Either way within that base is a Genesis bomb... I don't think I need to explain how this can be problematic."

The Chinese may have tried to hide their shock but some of the horrified gasps from the crew in those ships were still heard inside the Star Destroyer. "Can your ship still move." Wu replied back with a yes. "Lead us to that outpost now Wu and maybe we will consider on not executing you for treason." It was a start Wu thought. He order the crew to move the ship to the outpost, known Ranch 3456.

Soon the fleet of one Fate ship and many Chinese found the burning charred ruins of Ranch 3456. It's fleet of fighters, bombers and starships destroyed along with it's tanks and walkers. The hangers, bases, and bunkers collapsed or near collapsed. Holes on the ground and bodies all over. "There is more to the Ranch. It has an underground level were more of the facility can be seen. You will find the bomb in those levels." Wu soon ordered his men and women to land the Mikasa, it was the first to due so and they were the first to leave their ships and stand in front of the destroyed gates of the outpost.

Tenzou's hotel

"The problem is", said Tenzou, "it's definitely not that simplistic. There are a number of things that need serious consideration.

"Firstly, the moment the vermin is gone, the entire planet will be opened up to the rest of the Multiverse. That may not seem like a big thing, but let's put it this way; this planet has been isolated for 40 million years. None of its leaders have ever seen the outside world. The moment the sky splits, Dimension 676 will be connected with this planet. Not only will the external powers descend upon us, the peoples of this world will be helpless. Knowing some of the more crackpot leaders of this world, there'll be massacres everywhere. Secondly…"

"Umm… Dad?"

Tenzou whirled around to face the door.

"We should get going", he said. "Bring them to the ship ASAP, Josiah. I'm gonna get the money from the safe; I'll catch up with you guys."

ICF Di Feng
Chinese Starship

"Vice Admiral Zhou, we've received a transmission from the ICF Cixi Taihou."

Vice Admiral Zhou Rong Yao (周榮耀), a scrawny elderly man of an average height with an impressive array of medals on his smart blue uniform, strode over to the command room's telecommunications room with his drill cane wedged under his armpit. He had spent many nights kept awake on nothing but caffeine and chocolates, and the eye bags on his face were more than testament to that. After all, the assault on the Jiang Dynasty's headquarters by a warship belonging to Iuzun was a huge matter, and all the top leadership had been going through hell trying to clean up and defend it. Not to mention the fact that many of the Grandmasters had, for some reason or another, disappeared.

"What is it?"

"We've received word from the commander of the ICF Mei Zhu. Apparently, one of our former commanders, a certain Jensen Wu (who has defected to the Fates and now wants to rejoin us), has found a Genesis Bomb, and is now leading our ships to it."

"Jensen Wu…" The scrawny, silver haired Vice Admiral sat down at the table with the map of the dimension, inspecting the numerous pins. Using his info pad, which he had propped up on the table, VA Zhou squinted, muttering unintelligibly to himself, before sipping from a coffee mug that didn't belong to him and turning to face the man.

"Who is this Jensen Wu of whom you speak?"

A Rear Admiral standing behind Zhou tapped the old man on the shoulder.

"He was one year your junior in the Officer Cadet School. Your squad used to call him "Wu Wei Ba" (吳尾巴. "Wei Ba" means "animal's tail", and is an allusion to Wu's ponytail)."

Zhou roared out in laughter.

"That guy", he said, wiping his nose. "He was the top of his cohort; that upstart had the most medals on his uniform at graduation all those years ago. You mean to tell me that he's defected to Alzis?"

The RA nodded nervously.

The old, almost comical Vice Admiral whirled his swivel chair around and used his legs to push the chair to a control panel.

"Send word to the Hanzō", he said. "We're going to keep watch on them. You can never be too sure with those Genesis Bombs."

IDJF Hanzō
Japanese Cruiser currently deployed in the same dimension as Jensen Wu

Commodore Mikami Yoshirō (魅上 吉郎), a battle scarred and very serious man was, coincidentally, in the command room of the Hanzō when VA Zhou's message arrived.

"I will see to it that Wu does nothing stupid", he said. Turning to face his men, Mikami said, "Scan the area and try to…"

"Commodore Mikami!"

"What is it?"

"It seems that General Jensen Wu is headed for Ranch 3456."

"Shit."

Ranch 3456

The arrival of the Mikasa's crew was met by a single, dishevelled man. He had long, scruffy hair with many visible split ends, as well as a beard that appeared to have gone uncut for a number of months. His uniform, which consisted of a dark green short sleeved office shirt and black pants with boots, was crumpled and torn. Only one epaulette had a rank (a corporal rank).

"Get out of here", he said throatily, stumbling about and trying to grip something. "You don't know what's in there…"

Tenzou's hotel

"We already knew that once the vermin is gone this world will return back to the multiverse, but this added information on how this world would react to returning back was something we didn't consider on." Tandem replied back, now realizing just how complicated the matter truly was. On most days he would have noticed immediately how difficult this quest would be since he had first hand experiences on what happens when worlds that never interacted with the greater multiverse suddenly finds outsiders and foreigners from all over coming to their world, it rarely end well.

The last world that Tandem visited that had a similar situation had a few nations commit mass genocides on both outsiders and native people as a response and it was due to that event that Tandem made a promise to never engage in any activities that would purposely expose a world to the multiverse if it never had contact with outsiders before. If he knew this before hand he may have not come and even convinced Alice not to join. "No she would have still joined the moment Elizabeth took part in this mission. I can't believe I'm doing this." Tandem toyed with the idea of convincing the others to leave the jewel and the world behind.

He knew that some of the members don't care about the jewel and some even joined for different reason other than the jewel, yet there are many more who wanted it to use it's powers to deal with hostile enemies in the multiverse. "That is troubling to do, we must come up with an idea on how to deal with those more troublesome leaders before they give this world a bad image and cause some races a good excuse to destroy your world."

Ranch 3456

Only the newest members of the crew shown signs of discomfort around the obviously crazed and disheveled man, Wu and many others have seen their own coworkers become insane due to the dark and forbidden matters that the Fate's engage in. "With the Fate's corporal I know that what is lurking there is both maddening and disturbing but we can't leave. I have special orders from Alzis to move the present into a different location. Apparently he has decided that now was not the right time to unveil it to the grandmasters."

Wu was of course lying to the corporal, he can't let him know that he was leaving The Fates. The soldiers, dressed in the trench coat, gas mask wearing and body armor uniform moved past the corporal and through the ruins of the bass. The medical staff took the man and calmly lead him to a newly made medical tent to treat him and sedate him. Some of the researchers had sensitive devices, one of these devices are Etheric Resonance Imagery (ERI) machines called VERITAS. The researchers with the VERITAS headsets were at awe at what they were seeing.

"General Wu, Aetheric Energy Fields are off the charts!" he asked if it was the demons the machines were picking up. "No sir, we don't detect any signs of demonic Aetheric energy. This one is entirely new." Wu didn't show it but he was worried, something new was never good. Of course The Fates often dealt with new things when it dealt with occult and supernatural matters but Wu often tried to stay away from anything new, he found that doing so increases one's survival with The Fates.

However now he can't do that, he needs to show the Chinese that he is willing to return back. "Tell the Chinese this. That whatever attacked Ranch 3456 used powerful magic and is not a demon. There is a chance that Nixa's army may be involved." One of the researchers compiled and went off to the communication's officers to send the warning. The chinese warships were landing down. "Tell our crazed friend that the Chinese with us have decided to join the Fates." another officer obeyed the command and went off. Wu was getting a bad feeling about this place.

The soldiers reach the base and hangers. Most of the hangers that they can enter had all of their doors open, most of the staff inside were dead but they way they found them almost made one soldier throw up. All of them appeared to have almost been melted by sulfuric acid, even the fighters inside were almost melted. "General, we suspect possible Shoggoth presence in the Ranch." they heard Wu coping as they moved closer to investigate.

In the communications tower they found the place eerily quiet with no signs of a struggle, it was as if everyone left suddenly. Checking the computers proved to be useless as all of the files were badly corrupted. Within the main base it was the opposite of the tower, bodies strewn all over the floor, walls and even ceiling, some of which was fused to the structure. "Sir we have found bodies fused to the structure of the base." once more Wu said copy and was left wondering what happened. They found the entrance door to the underground levels but found a strange gel-like substance was placed on the door. "General some sort of gel is barricading the door. We may need a demolitions team to clear this." Wu order for one of the team members to extract a sample of the gel.

The next thing Wu knew he forced his earpiece away as the soldiers began to scream. "What on Earth is going on?" the screaming was soon replaced by static, within Wu could have sworn to hear something else but he couldn't make it out, he felt his ears ringing slightly as he tried to hear this other noise. Suddenly the line at the other side died out. "I want another team to find out what happened in there." Wu ordered. Another team going to the main base as the Chinese were coming over.

Alexandra

Alexandra began to shiver, even using her powers to make the environment around her and Saya colder. "I'm sorry ma'am but it's very cold out here." Alexandra suddenly vanished in front of Saya's sight, leaving behind barely noticeable ripples on the fabric of reality. "Ahh, much better." she heard behind her, the strange cloaked woman now inside her house. "I'm not sure if my daughter ever told you this but where I'm from magic is real and we both know how to use it, I was even her teacher for a while." she smiled as she recall those old memories.

Alexandra shook her head before she got distracted by her memories. "Almost zone out there for a moment. Again sorry for breaking in. I've been traveling a long way to find this place and well I'm both cold and kinda hungry." she said as she still kept herself wrapped up in her cloak. "All I need is just to know if you know what is going on with my daughter and where is she now. I can sense that she isn't here at the moment. I'll leave you alone once I know what I came for." her tone made it clear that Alexandra meant every word and that she was no harm to Saya.

Tenzou's hotel

As Tandem spoke to him, the Elf beckoned for him to follow.

"No need to worry about you seeing the place where I stash my money now", said the Elf. "We're bringing it all along, and I've got nothing to lose anyway." He opened a door to a small storeroom, pushed aside a few boxes, and revealed a little, anodised metal box with a combination padlock. After opening the box and briefly counting the banknotes, Tenzou shut the box and tucked it under his arm, before going out.

"There is a way to prevent such a situation", said Tenzou. "It's risky and unpredictable, but it's a pretty good chance, I daresay. Out of the twenty leaders, there are four who are likely to react violently to the opening up of Chphlyggnu;

"Tjunnaren Merull, Chief Minister of the Alz Republic. He's a crackhead, which certainly says enough.

"Thorarssed Ruueeii, President of the Murm Republic. Over her 36 year rule, she's assassinated and executed over 4,000 political opponents, as well as committed some of the greatest genocides in the Southern Hemisphere.

"Nazayye Hayyle IV, King of the Lvnjo Kingdom. The fact that he's just 9 and yet has already ordered 92 executions indicates that he's a very erratic ruler who'd probably react erratically in the event of a sudden opening of the planetary borders.

"Shol Sol Dath Mi Prok, the Chancellor of the Rek Bok Yuuzhe Federation, who's… I really do talk too much, don't I?"

With that, Tenzou beckoned for Tandem to follow.

"We should get going."

Outside the hotel

A majority of the people previously in the hotel had already gotten out, and had prepared themselves to fight their way out. As Bijj Republic planes buzzed overhead, dropping fire from the sky, two dragon-like figures soared through the snowy skies. On the back of the black dragon rode the one legged, former Viking chief. On the back of the golden dragon rode two people; one was a middle-aged looking, millennia old celestial being who had assumed a corporeal form. The other was a white haired boy in white pyjamas, crouched over and sucking his thumb.

On the ground, a group comprising of Josiah, Kaidō, Henry Saladass, the two Grandmasters, and a few others, all clad in furry winter coats and other winter gear, were charging down the streets, fighting off incompetent soldiers.

"Our bounties are going to shoot up after this", remarked Josiah, as he lunged forward and kicked a soldier in the chest, causing him to drop his rifle and roll down the hill. Picking up the rifle and wielding it alongside his pole, Master Wong shrugged.

"If we can suspend those bounties", he said, "then at least we won't have that many people yapping at our heels." Master Wong tossed the rifle to Henry, who fired it and hit a corporal in the thigh, before swinging it around and yelling unintelligibly, kicking and throwing soldiers around.

"At this rate", he declared loudly, "we'll get to the port in no time!"

Jason

Jason shook his head, "I don't hate you. I hate your mouth. You tend to speak childishly at times. but i have no reason to hate you." he responded, then listened to her rant, and her comment on taking on the flying machines. He sighed and shook his head, "Killing these things won't help much at all...we need to get to the serpent and kill it fast, take the jewel and stop the resulting earthquakes. I can get myself, you, and two other people there quite easily, though we will still need a boat so that no one drowns. I can get us to there in just about a few seconds, and push a small boat along there too. I can sense the serpent's location with the Calm. I suggest we take the odd thief(Gabriel), yourself and anyone else you think will be of use. despite this group, let's be realistic the battle against the serpent will have to be a small group. a large one is impractical on water. but i'm no leader and i don't give orders, so if you don't want to go, that's fine, nor does anybody else have to go. Regardless, i think going after that serpent is more important than the flying machines, it will be a while before more come...." he said in an eerily calm voice.

Gabriel

Gabriel was listening in to Jason and Elizabeth's conversation, "Count me in! Sounds like a perfect plan to me! a small four-man group out in open water about to face a creature that has never been beaten, and have practically no plan whatsoever? i like this lad alot, lassy. Plus if we pull it off, i might score points with that lovely horned lassy.....if not well no loss either way." he said with a big grin. Despite his excitement, you could tell he was very laid back, and was quite composed for a man such as him, but his eyes showed a hint of adventure, and one felt that if this man had not spoken, you wouldn't have immediately noticed him at all. While he seemed light-hearted, the very fact that he could make himself so dismissable in a moment's notice, even with a personality like his, gave him an eerie aura, which made one question what he was really capable of.

Wasp

Wasp helped the young maiden who was struck down by Wolf to her feet. "That was a brave thing to do, but also the most stupidest thing as well. You are lucky he didn't kill you." he said to the young woman. she blushed, looking away, "Well, he was just beating in to you, i couldn't just stand by and watch...it was....horrific." her voice trailed off, and her eyes seemed distant, as if in deep thought. her cheek was already bruising from Wolf's blow. He wasn't sure why she had jumped in, as he had certainly never met the woman before, yet she did perform such a selfless act for him, even if it was of the dumbest things one could do in such a situation....he wasn't sure what to make of her...

Kyuubi

Kyuubi sighed, she was thankful Wasp still did not recognize her, though she felt flustered, She had to pretend to be more ignorant than she really was, to pretend to know absolutely nothing of the Ahmarhan, and fool a fellow Ahmarhan....a task she had never had to do before, and though she was the best diplomat that existence had to offer, and could play poker face with the best of them, she had never dreamed she would find herself in such a position as this. When he told her that what she did was stupid, she had the urge to slap his ungrateful ass right in the face, but let it go, it wasn't like he knew who he was talking to...he'd probably try to kill her if he did.....Suddenly Mantis appeared before them, and upon seeing the wounded Wasp, hugged him.

Mantis

"Wasp! thank god you are okay!" she said as she hugged her friend. Wasp suddenly pushed her away, "Mantis....leave and get out of here, you can't be seen with me. I've disobeyed my orders and turned against my superiors, if they see that you are helping me, they will punish you too." Mantis bit her lip then hugged him again, more firmly, to which he winced in pain a bit, which made her loosen her grip. and apologize, "I don't care about that! You are hurt, and you are my friend! i don't care about the stupid Organization and its rules! Wolf nearly beat the living hell out of you! you are my friend, and i care about you, i will stick by your side no matter what." she said, letting him go and then examining his wounds, Even for one such as Wasp, he was in pretty bad shape. "We have to get you to a doctor....you need healing." she said, but before Wasp could respond, Beetle suddenly appeared.

Beetle

Beetle stood before Wasp, Mantis, and a woman he didn't recognize. he turned to Mantis, "Mantis, stay away from him. he's a traitor, he will be reconditioned like Ant and Butterfly were....don't set yourself up to share the same fate." he said, his tone with genuine concern, and care. Mantis turned to him, her eyes pleading. "Beetle....please...he's our friend...doesn't that mean anything to you, to us, to anyone?" she asked, tears forming in her eyes. Beetle sighed, he could never say no to her, he loved her too much. "Fine....we'll help him...i will take any all punishment and blame for this. If you think we should help him, then i will stand beside you." he said, and she smiled. meanwhile the other woman was backing away from him and the others, her cheek was bruised and her expression was that of a frightened little girl, terrified of the unknown. "Don't worry....we won't harm you or any of the others in your group. We are here to help..." he said in a gentle voice, unfolding his armor. She just nodded, though seemed to physically relax.

Cyrssa

Another silent flash of lightning arced across her body as she slept. the lightning seemed to almost be part of her skin, as it followed the lines and curves of her body perfectly. Cyrssa was still unconscious though sometimes, in a weak and frightened voice, she would call out "Tak....Tak please come back...."

Elynia

Elynia greeted the others, but chose to hide behind Tessy, or stick as close as she could to her. Some of the others were a bit terrifying, but Tessy seemed to be the friendliest of the group. She looked at the horned lady who was eyeing her suspiciously. "You will protect me." she whispered, and suddenly the horned woman seemed to zone out for the briefest of moments, before nodding, stepping up close. "Don't worry, i'll knife any scary voodoo user that tries to harm you. though....i don't know if i'll that'll be enough...." the woman said, with a brief look of doubt on her face before she masked it. Elynia dismissed her comment, and relaxed a bit, already feeling a little safer. She had no idea how she was going to do what the King had asked of her, but when the time came, she would find away....she definitely didn't want to make the King mad at her....she couldn't imagine what she would do to her.....

Crowe

Crowe shrugged, "Well...i'd say we stick with wherever Ellie and her lover go, because honestly if you want to get on a woman's goodside, the easiest way is to get em into bed first." he said, lightening the mood with a teasing tone. "But no, seriously. Two ups to the plan: we stick with the boy who can kill anything, making our lives easier, and if we do perchance happen to bed Ellie and her lover, that means a longer life span to you, don't you agree?" he said, putting his arms behind his head, giving Veira a big grin and a wink. "Also, no. I don't think your Alzis act is fooling anyone with magic. No novices here to fool or trick..."

Fauna

Fauna sat next to the Moon Sisters, tending to Cyrssa. She turned to the Moon Sisters. "you know, if this world is affecting your abilities too much, i can help. this world doesn't affect me or my magic, as we Bards are creatures born of connections and bonds. as long as any soul or person has these, we have our magic. Well, technically we are magic, but that's besides the point. Would you like for me to alleviate the dampening effect for you?" she asked them, her tone kind and sweet, and her sweet flower scent filling the air.

Bonnie

Bonnie watched as chaos unfolded before it. Bonnie sat on a rock, sulking in the form of a teddy bear whilst IGSE soldiers fought with various other soldiers of groups Bonnie didn't really bother to recall the name of. Bonnie had come here for fun, but now there was no fun to be had. Bonnie decided to leave, Bonnie wanted to find a place where Bonnie could have fun.....perhaps the next world would be more fun....however Bonnie suddenly found himself/herself in the Hotel, just behind Ludwig. "Well this place is pretty big....but it feels very empty....sir, will you play with me?" Bonnie said in a cute and adorable teddy bear voice.

Dragon

Dragon was busy organizing the troops, Jonjittu would awaken soon, and they would have to be ready. She always hated this part of her job, because no matter how many times she did it, Jonjittu always scared the shit out of her. Part of her wished there was a way to kill the asshole, but she knew there absolutely wasn't. which made her dislike the whole thing even more...but still, she did not let the others see her fear, and even though she was afraid, like always, she would stand strong until the very end....Existence was counting on it.....

???

An elf lady approached them, "Eurithien, travellers, come, you are our esteemed guests, let me show you a place for you two to stay....It isn't every day we get strangers as unique as you..." she said, smiling. She was a young woman, with long, soft, dark hair, and was very beautiful, and had a gentleness that matched the gracefulness of her beauty. however these were details that the dirt golem did not notice, though she smiled and hugged Svaboda with excitement. She was happy that they were safe now.

Tenzou's Hotel

"I know that destroying the planes won't do much in the long run. But my cousin right now has a large bounty on her head and I want to help her out on that. I can't erase the bounty but I can at least make the reward for my header bigger than hers, maybe I can get most of the bounty hunters to come after me instead of her." Elizabeth explained. When Jason explained on having a smaller group to deal with the serpent. Just as Elizabeth was analyzing the pros and cons of the plan Gabriel suddenly joined in, causing Elizabeth to wince as his loud voice caused her to lose her train of thought.

"Next time speak more softly, be hearing is still very sensitive after changing them to be like Cyrssa's ears." the borderline demonic looking woman said as she rubbed her ears. "First off going on without a plan is asking to be killed. I don't care how lucky you are, you always need a plan to go back on encase things go horribly wrong. I find that even an improved plan is better than no plan." Elizabeth responded back to the thief. She may have the powers of synchronicity on her side but even she knows that it is a terrible move to heavily rely on it like a crutch.

"Wanting to go dick first into the den of a world serpent just to impress a horned woman. God I feel like that is a strange hybrid of a Norse and Greek story. I suppose trying to score with a woman is good motivator to slay a beast." Elizabeth gave a dry chuckle at the end of her sentience. Alice soon appeared before the group and told them about the place where they are heading too and how they can get some measure of diplomatic immunity.

"So there is a lesser evil in this world? Tell the elf in charge that I agree with the plan simply because I rather live in a place that doesn't have bombers over my bloody head." Alice nodded and turn back to the bioluminescent wisp form and left the three men and her cousin alone. "I think right now our first plan should be moving the others to a safe location. Once we know that we don't have to worry about them getting blown to bits by bombers we can focus again on the serpents." Elizabeth turn her gaze at Gabriel. "And we will have a plan when we attack it, even if most of it is improved on the spot." Elizabeth walked to the window and saw the town close by burning as more bombs were dropped on the buildings.

"I think our problem with a large group on water can be fixed if we either make the water a solid for them to walk on or change their bodies so they can better move in it. The magic weakening effects of the atmosphere sadly makes the first option impossible now and the second one I can do with my body no problem but I'm hesitant on turning everyone into fish people. Not because I find the idea disquieting but because I just recently regained my powers and I don't want to mess up on using them." Elizabeth saw the group leaving.

"I think you guys may want to catch up with the others they are leaving." Elizabeth finally unraveled her wings from their cloak form. "Besides being able to fly I can still sense their energy so I don't have to worry about losing them."
------

Veira gave the bard an exasperated sigh as she face palmed. "It's amazing that you can still think of sex after having sex with me just a few minutes ago." the woman teased. Veira thought over Crowe's plan and agreed with the two of them. "Yeah that boy can make our lives easier, especially since his powers aren't affected by the atmosphere of this world and as for Elizabeth, well I'm not Alzis so the idea of bedding her doesn't make my skin crawl." When Crowe told her that the Alzis act wouldn't work she sighed again. "Figures as much."

She turn to face him. "Right now I don't see any problems with your plans so let's follow them." Veira unlocked the door. "I think we hide from the others long enough. Let's meet up and see if maybe we can get on to her lover's good side first before we try Elizabeth." Veria recall from Alzis's memories that both Elizabeth and Crowe had an argument before. "I think we may have a hard time with Elizabeth, after all the two of you were arguing like an angry couple before." she said jokingly as she stepped out of the room.
-----

Tandem had no interested in Tenzou's stash, well he wasn't interest in the material worth, he was more interested in it's cultural significance as what materials used and designs on the currency often tells a story about the culture that uses them. Once the elf put away his stash he explained to Tandem that there is a way to prevent the governments from spreading more chaos and destruction throughout the multiverse. Tandem only rolled his eyes on the first leader being a crackhead, wondering how someone like that got a position of power.

When he heard about Ruueeii he knew that woman was the first one to be targeted if her track record was anything to go by. Tandem only sighed when he heard about the minor ruler. "Seriously, why do people think that having a minor in power is ever a good idea. It's one of the reasons why I often don't favor monarchies." When Tandem heard about the four one, or should it be didn't hear about the chancellor of Rek Bok Yuuzhe, he felt a shiver go down his spine.

When Tenzou beckoned for Tandem to follow he broke out of his cold shiver and followed. Tandem can see Alice returning. "So everyone is leaving?" Tandem nodded. "Your cousin can fly right? I'm sure she'll catch up with us soon." Alice didn't want to leave Elizabeth behind but believed that she will follow the group. The two of them followed the group outside and even rode on the walkers that they stole from the checkpoint.

As the ground group fought against the soldiers both Alice and Tandem either charged through, stomp or blasted the soldiers that got in their way. Alice still hated the idea of harming and killing people but she knew that those men are willing to harm innocent people and she force herself to keep on attacking just so she can save people from them.
-------

The Moon Sisters were trying their best to tend to Cyrssa as Tessy sat down on the ground and let her niece's head rest on her lap, Tessy stroke Cyrssa's hair. When they heard Fauna speak the sisters stopped for a while. "Thank you Fauna. We tried not to show it but this world's power is bothering us. We've been surrounded by magic for most of our lives, so having it weaken or even dampened makes us unconformable. Even more so than being surrounded by two eldritch abominations." they replied back.

Tessy looked at them. "Why do you hate Elizabeth and Alice now? You never shown signs of hating them before? So why now is it different?" The sisters looked at Tessy. "Those two are elder deities. Besides them being insane they often possess powers that break most laws found in the multiverse." they said. "Let's not also forget that their very form is known to drive most being insane and their mindsets are too alien for even use gods to understand them. We know you and Miss Ashwood are in a relationship but we think for your own good you should break it off."

The sister's warned Tessy, not wanting the woman to suffer insanity or worse from Elizabeth's presence. Tessy looked at the sisters defiantly. "No. I don't care if most of Elizabeth's kind behaves that way. I know that Elizabeth and Alice are different from the creatures you talked about. I know for a fact that she would never harm me." Tessy responded back. The sisters wanted to tell her that she was a fool for staying with Elizabeth but they knew that for Tessy to understand the danger she would have to see what they are talking about. "We hope that for your sakes Ms Inuu, you are right about Elizabeth and Alice."

The sisters saw the group leaving. "Fauna can help us with the dampening effect please? We need our powers in order to flee this place and help the others." Tessy also asked her if she can do the same with Elizabeth and Alice.

Tenzou's hotel

With the money box under one of his arms and his elegant Hanzō scimitar in his other hand, Tenzou followed Tandem and Alice through the streets, cutting down both the Lernek Republic and the Bijj Republic's soldiers as he went down. As far as he was concerned, neither side was in the right; besides, he had to get to the dock as soon as he could. No doubt, his stepson and the others who had followed were now waiting with their new ship.

The harbour
Madagascar III

By the time Mera, Josiah, Felix and the rest who had left first were at the ship, Skodat Lorvayyl had disappeared; not a trace of him was found, though the ship was in as good a condition as when they had seen it. They feared the worst for the shipbuilder.

"We can't let his death be in vain", said Master Wong determinedly, as one of the government warships (whether it was Lernekean or Bijjian, nobody knew) veered about and headed towards the Madagascar III. The moment the first bullet flew, Mera hurled herself into the sky, before charging downwards and spewing out a burst of white fire onto the deck of the government ship, incinerating those who were on the top. A number of soldiers leapt across onto the deck of the Madagascar III, but were promptly dispatched by Wong, swinging his pole about and throwing the extremely confused men overboard.

Helloo, sisters. We've secured the ship already; it's at the harbour, which is quite easy to find. Do head down as quickly as possible; we've got a bunch of navy vessels to take care of.

The Hotel

The appearance of yet another Bard didn't really surprise Ludwig. He had seen many things, to the point that such things never surprised him.

"You seem happy", remarked Ludwig tersely. The Spirit stuck his hands into his pockets and continued to shuffle down the corridor of the Hotel, to the destination he had been searching for, that distant, unknown destination. Father Christmas, for one reason or another, was not with him; where he was, only he and the Spirit of the Hotel knew, for the plan they made to return was secret.

"I suppose you could come along, if you want", said Ludwig, turning to face Bonnie and smiling solemnly. Something about the Spirit's mannerisms and mood suggested an ominous future, but Ludwig kept quiet about it.

"I'm going to Dimension 666. I will face General Nixa of the Maju Army."

Dimension 2
Te
Top secret military hospital

"She's still alive, isn't she?"

"Yes, sir."

Master Leung Nam-kuan quietly and thoughtfully removed his coat, hanging it on the coat hook on the wall. He slowly followed the white coated doctor over to the single hospital bed in the gigantic, immaculately white, colosseum-like medical hall.

A girl who looked barely 20 lay on the bed, her eyes closed, her breathing extremely anguished, her body (the parts not covered by the bedsheets) withered away, and her golden hair messed up and frayed. An opaque oxygen mask with metal knobs and catheters covered her mouth and nose. Tubes and wires entered her body at numerous points, and the entire bed was surrounded by computer screens and monitors, all showing various statistics. Her pulse was weak and irregular.

The Grandmaster solemnly stood by the bedside, running his hand through the girl's hair and brushing a few loose locks out of her face, his own expression bearing the marks of a regretful father.

"Yuuma Haikarakainen… to think your elder brother was willing to build up an entire army just to get that which you own…"

Leung turned to face the doctor.

"May I see it?"

The doctor nodded. With that, Leung folded the bed sheet down slightly, revealing a small black stone hanging from Yuuma's neck by a jet black necklace chain. The Grandmaster held the stone in his hand, silently gazing upon its pure, unadulterated blackness, before letting it go and pulling the bedsheets up to their original position.

"Why don't you keep it, sir?" the doctor asked.

Leung slowly walked towards the door.

"She was tasked with the Second Pendant's protection", said the Grandmaster solemnly, putting on his weather worn coat. "Rest assured, however, I shall continue to guard her, for that is what I was entrusted with."

With that, Master Leung silently left the medical facility.

Yuuma Haikarakainen remained in her laborious sleep.

Crow

Crow manage to find Freyja, the woman ran all the way back to the wooden shack that he was using. Crow walked up and saw her sitting on the steps leading to the entrance. "That speed, I see you inherited from your mother as well." the woman glared at him. "Speak Ahmarhan. How do you know about my mother!" she yelled at him. Crow walked forward and lean back on the wall of the shack.

"I knew your mother because she carried by genes. That's right Freyja, you and I are related. You are many many times great granddaughter." Crow explained, for once he saw a new expression on the woman that wasn't distrust or a blank expression, this one was of surprise. "Before I joined the Ahmarhan I was once a wanderer. I took on any job that was being offered and the ones that often had monster or bounty hunting were the most profitable so I became a bounty and monster hunter even though I never saw myself as such."

Crow slide down and was now sitting on the ground. "My title within the Ahmarhan, the Abysswalker, that title has been with me long before I joined them. There was a city being consumed by the abyss and the king whose city lied in the heart of his kingdom wanted many adventures to fight against the denizens of the abyss to save the city and it's people. I never heard of this until I was tricked by Kalameet to enter the city and fight off the creatures of the abyss. The dragon told me that it was monsters attacking it, in hindsight he was right, I just assumed that the monsters were normal ones."

Crow summoned his sword and grabbed it with both his hands, raising it up and staring into the blade. "Where many have failed I succeeded, as such I was given the title that I now bear and with it my powers. I dedicated myself on fighting against cultists, creatures and gods of the void. For once in my life I felt that I was given a purpose in life. It was during this crusade I was severely injured battle and I was treated by a witch. I don't know how but me and the witch fell in love and soon raised a family. Zullie, that was her name. Even after all of these years I still remember her."

Behind his helmet he smiled, his memory of the better parts of his life now flashing before his eyes. "I loved, and still love, Zullie. But if I stayed with her and my kids any longer than the forces of the abyss would go after them. So I made the hardest choice in my life and left them for their safety." Crow said, putting down his blade. Neither him nor Freyja said anything to each other. None of them are sure how to respond to their now revealed statues as family members, even if the familial relationship is distant in some parts.

"What do you want me to do if I leave The Fates?" Freyja asked, saying something after minutes of awkward silence. "Do whatever you please Freyja. I have no right to decide how one should live their life." Crow responded back. "As for your mother, me and her met whenever I was free. I'm sorry that I couldn't save her. Sadly I was busy with a mission to have been there to have save her." the man said solemnly. Freyja hear the sorrow in Crow's voice and can tell that his sorrow was genuine. "Why did you never see me after that? Was it because of your missions?" the armored man didn't responded, Freyja assumed that something within his organization forced Crow from ever seeing her until now.

Crow got up. "I have to go for a while. I need to see an old friend." he turn back to the woman. "I will return." Crow created an abyssal portal and stepped through it. Crow soon appeared in the same location where Wasp was. He didn't expect to find Beetle and Mantis, when he saw Beetle he had his blade ready for a fight but soon saw how he and Mantis were acting as and decided not to fight them. "So what brought you two to this world?" Crow turn to Wasp. The abysswalker rose his hands and just as it looked like he was about to attack all of the damage on Wasp was moved to Crow, which thanks to his armor meant he wasn't hurt.

"What a funny looking tree, don't you all agree." Crow simply said, choosing to write down his encounter with Wasp as seeing a weird tree to cover him. He soon saw Kyuubi or the maiden that was once Kyuubi. He used his powers and her bruise disappeared. "Are you alright now ma'am. Tell me who was it that harmed such a beautiful maiden such as yourself." Crow never liked people who harmed innocent people, often he felt no remorse on using his damage manipulation powers on them but rarely ever taking it to the level of murder unless the person who was against was complete monster. Crow turn back to the couple. "Before you ask no I'm not on a mission. I'm simply here to catch up with some old friends before I return back to previous location. I met up with a relative of mines and right now we are trying to catch up.... the key word being trying."

The harbour
Madagascar III

Tandem and Alice reach the doc and saw the boat. "Wow. That is a awesome boat, how much money did you guys spend to get those boat?" Alice asked. Both her and Tandem soon heard what Master Wong said about not letting a death going in vain, making Tandem clinch his fist in rage. The two of them saw the military boat trying to attack their ship and soon met it's end by Mera's flames.

Alice's body began to drastically change to the point that there was no hint of her ever having a human body. In the place of Alice was a large pinkish, fungoid, crustacean-like entities with a "convoluted ellipsoid" composed of pyramided, fleshy rings and covered in antennae where a head would normally be. The creature is about 5 feet (1.5 m) long, and the crustacean-like bodies bear numerous sets of paired appendages. It also possess a pair of membranous bat-like wings. The antennae began to glow in strange colors that was difficult for some people to see as these colors were ones that most human eyes were not meant to see.

The creature that was Alice flew off in great speed to another ship that was about to attack the ship owned by the group. Landing on the deck the soldiers screamed in horror and fired at her, only to find that while their bullets seem to hit the creature it neither caused pain or killed it. Alice used her appendages and electrocuted the men whom she touched. Some decided to jump over board as they didn't want to fight against the alien being that was attacking them.

Tandem was taking apart the walkers that he and Alice used and was making a weapon from their pieces, it would take him a few minutes until he was done.

Thanks for that. Right now we are dealing with a matter with the bard, she claims that she can help alleviate the effects of the atmosphere for us. We will come to you once we know if her claims are true. Also we are tending to one of the wounded as well.

The harbour

Master Wong Kai Yu

"Impossible…"

Master Wong looked on at the sudden transformation of Alice with an expression of awe on his face. What was this thing before him? It was horrifying and devilish, and yet, at the same time… divine. There were no words to describe it.

But now was no time to be distracted by such things.

A vicious cannonball tearing through the air was headed straight for him. The Grandmaster whisked his eyes to the side, catching a brief glimpse of the metallic object as it sped towards him. Without delay, Wong whirled around and slammed his bamboo pole into the cannonball with deadly precision and terrifying speed and ferocity. The metallic ball flew backwards and crushed one of the navy vessel's yardarms. The offending piece of wood hurtled towards the deck and crushed an officer, much to the horror of those looking on.

"Don't just stand there!" screamed the officer who had been crushed, drawing his sword and attempting to hack away at the yardarm which lay on top of his ruined legs. "Kill him!"

Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III

That moment, a ball of purple fire slammed into the side of the navy vessel, causing a gigantic explosion that sent all four of the ship's masts flying into the air. The survivors, who had all fallen into the water, attempted to fire at the Night Fury which swooped down past their heads, but the dragon's skin was too tough. As Toothless whirled about in the air, the aged Viking chief jumped up onto his dragon's back, activating his flaming sword and silently commanding his faithful companion to swoop down towards the ship.

Steiner Magnus Sveinlaugsson

Before the soldier with the broadsword could do anything, he was swept off of his feet, landing on his buttocks. He attempted to climb up, but was promptly struck in the chest by Steiner's foot, sending him flying backwards and hitting a railing on the ship.

"Not bad, not bad", said the voice of Master Lam, as the Grandmaster emerged from below deck, wielding a meat cleaver in one hand and a Swiss Army knife in his other hand. Without delay, Lam hurled the cleaver and the knife, hitting a man in the abdomen and the forehead respectively, causing him to fall off the ship.

"Perhaps teaching myself some fighting skills did pay off", said Steiner, sucking his thumb and gazing blankly. He sat down on the deck in a bizarre, cross-legged position. The soldier with the broadsword attempted to charge at him again, at which point, the white haired boy leapt to his feet and planted the sole of his left foot in the man's chin. A cracking sound was heard, and the soldier teetered off the edge of the Madagascar III's deck, falling into the ocean with a splash.

Henry Saladass

"Come 'ere, you bastards!" screamed Henry Saladass, laughing maniacally as he discharged round after round of rifle bullets upon the waves of soldiers who charged at him from the port. He had not gotten onto the ship yet (though it was docked), opting to take out a few more waves of soldiers before the rest got on.

Without warning, however, the biker pirate slipped on a patch of ice, screaming and landing on his bottom.

"Ow… I think I broke my ass…"

A Lernek Republic lance corporal yanked out a revolver and attempted to empty its final bullet into Henry's body, but before he could do so, a pen knife buried itself in the man's shoulder, causing him to yap out in pain and drop the gun on the floor. From the bush beside him emerged Josiah, wielding a branch in his seemingly scrawny frame.

"Scheißkerl", the man swore in German.

The branch hit him in the face, and the lance corporal collapsed onto the floor with a mouthful of leaves and twigs.

"There's the port", said Tenzou, breathing heavily. Running around with a box full of money was, after all, very taxing. Not to mention the fact that he had to fight soldiers along the way. "Let's get going… as soon as we can."

A sharp ache coursed through his shoulders, but the elf thought nothing of it. As more and more soldiers emerged (some fighting with each other, others concentrating on him), the Elf continued to charge gracefully through the streets, whirling his scimitar around and cutting down soldiers in his way. It seemed almost too easy to be true. And yet, as the dock came closer and closer… no, it couldn't be…

Dimension 44
Jora Jorvik

Emperor Xiu of the Jiang Dynasty was dead. His entire council of ministers and advisors had fled early, leaving nobody but the Grandmasters and General Yuan Kai in charge of the planetary system's defence.

The IGSE invasion force had bombed the planet of Shen Tang to kingdom come, along with the Maju Army battalions which had attempted to seize the spoils of the Dynasty in its twilight. The battle between Jones and the two Grandmasters had been interrupted halfway when Iuzun's flagship brought in heavy cannons, cannons which had sufficient firepower to send its shells into space.

The entire courtyard was decimated by a single shell. All three belligerents were forced to cut short their battle.

Master Li Yu's dead body lay alongside that of Fleet Admiral Takada, as the bombs continued to rain down upon Shen Tang. Both had fallen in battle with an entire Maju Army division numbering some 4 million.

Its atmosphere was already ruined from the pollutants released by IGSE incendiaries. Millions of civilian casualties had already been confirmed.

Master Ouyang Zhenye attempted to charge at the IGSE's armies head on. He was met by Rushikk Antinoos, the new Grand Commander of the IGSE. Without so much as a fight, the ruthless Antinoos, with a sadistic sneer on his face, ordered an airstrike.

Ouyang Zhenye, the oldest of the Grandmasters (at the age of 94), was killed in the airstrike, just before he could reach Antinoos and fight him.

With the destruction of the entire Dynasty's structure, the two surviving Grandmasters on the planet, Ding Hao (aged 39) and Law Hon Chung (aged 62) had no choice but to escape. The two had, with the help of General Yuan Kai and his remaining soldiers, quietly led almost 5 million survivors across the Hotel, to the Japanese protectorate of Jora Jorvik in Dimension 44. It was a backup location that the Jiang Dynasty had secured through their cooperation with the Japanese Fleet, and now that the former was gone, there was nowhere else to go.

"Where is my son???"

Master Ding Hao charged through the halls of the gigantic hospital, which covered almost half of Jora Jorvik's moon's surface. He had broken one of his arms and lost one of his eyes (a bandage covered the wounded side of his countenance), but his desperate search for that one person made those seem irrelevant.

"Where is Ding Guan Cheng???" The young Grandmaster stopped a nurse who was walking down the hall.

"Who is Ding Guan Cheng?" the nurse asked.

"My son", said the Grandmaster, exasperated and exhausted. "Where is he? He's only a baby!"

"I'm sorry", said the nurse, as Ding started to show obvious signs of stifling cries, "I don't know anyone of that name in this ward."

"Can't you check?"

The nurse showed Ding the screen of the smartphone she was carrying. Under "D", there were only three people, all of whom had non-Chinese names.

"That can't be… I've searched every single ward… He can't be… He can't be!!!"

"Master Ping Teck Siong is dead."

Law Hon Chung sat alone on a roof of the hospital, silently letting his thoughts wander. The weather on the moon was warm, which allowed him to sit shirtless, and for good reason too; his ribs had been crushed in his desperate attempt to save as many people as possible, and they had been bandaged by the doctors of Jora Jorvik's hospital moon.

Beside him stood the figure of Zatoichi, Tenshi of the Hotel.

"It is, indeed, a sad time."

Law wiped a tear from his own eye.

"Indeed, it is."

"Iuzun will continue to crush those who attempt to oppose him. That is, unless someone were to stop him."

"He was the pupil of Lam Kim An. Surely, Iuzun's former teacher could take him down."

"I wouldn't be so sure of that. What I do know, however, is that there is a power greater than Iuzun, lurking in the dark depths of the unknown corners of Existence. A slight tremor, no doubt, but a tremor nonetheless. A tremor that even the likes of Maju the Sorcerer was completely incapable of producing. There is something out there, though I cannot tell what it is. A great terror. A great bane."

Master Law looked at Zatoichi.

"You don't mean…"

Zatoichi raised his head to the sky.

"Though I am blind, I see many things", said the swordsman cryptically.

With that said, the blind swordsman opened a portal to an unknown, shadowed dimension, stepping through and leaving
