Kyle

Kyle groaned as he sat in the break room "I'm so damn bored!" He yelped out before yawning and taking a bite of his burger "What did you think this job would be Hype Man? It's glorified guard duty. Except we're getting paid more than the jar heads over there" The Mercenary, known by his codename as Temple, gestured to a group of US Navy SEALs sitting in the corner talking and eating. Kyle sighed and frowned "I'm rich remember?" Kyle grunted as he continued to chew his burger. Temple nodded and took a drink of his orange juice "Yeah I know. I just wish there was something a little more exciting here. I mean, nobody has been able to pull that sword out of the ground yet so why are we guarding it?" Temple shook his head and took another swig.

A tall, muscular figure wearing it's distinctive full body battle armor slammed it's fist down on the table in front of Temple "Because if you haven't noticed, Earth born, you aren't the center of the multiverse" The figure looked directly down at Temple, who could see his helmet covered face reflecting in the figures visor "You Eldritch folk take this job way to seriously. Come on, sit down, grab a orange juice" Temple said in a calm manner as he pulled a chair out for the Eldritch Warrior who sighed and declined "I am sorry. I have duties to attend to" The Warrior politely bowed and left, grabbing a glass of water on the way out.

Fanatic

Fanatic growled and sighed as he listened to the sound of helicopters getting closer. He looked over at the direction of the sound to see some distinctly different helicopters than his own "Well this is just perfect" He growled before noticing Chieften opening a portal and telekinetically throwing her troops into it "So the rat finally retreats" Fanatic yelled over at Chieften "Sorry sweetie, I'm not sticking around for this" She winked at Fanatic before blowing him a kiss and jumping into the portal which closed. Fanatic sighed and turned to his troops. Using telekinetic blasts he blew the rock off from around their feet allowing them to move again. He didn't trust these new comers but he wasn't going to arm his troops just yet.

Svaboda

Svaboda looked over the balcony at what was going on, seeing yet more helicopters "10,000 years worth of knowledge and yet no words spoken from her" He said in a monotone voice "Better not tell Fanatic and Chieften that. They have some crazy idea that they are gunna reshape the entire multiverse. Either in the name of Chaos or in the name of Order" He sighed and took a sip of his tea and looked down at them "So, know anything about what's going on?" He asked, turning his head to face Wolf very clearly gesturing towards Gabriel and the helicopters.

Sarah

Sarah licked her lips "So, this Gabriel guy? Is he some sort of treasure hunter?" She asked curiously, though the name triggered feelings of grief of someone long gone "Reminds me of my great, great nephew actually. Always searching for trouble" She looked down at the floor and took a sip of her green tea.

Elizabeth

"Keep trying mate, maybe you'll get lucky one day." Elizabeth said, clearly amused with Crowe's failed attempt on trying to flirt with their king. "Maybe she isn't interested in men? I flirted with her and she didn't mind. Though I did make mines sound more like a compliment." Elizabeth admitted, causing Alice to sigh at Elizabeth confession. "I swear Ellie, both you and Crowe must be counterparts to each other." a blush crept on Elizabeth's face, not because of the claim that Alice made but because she openly called her by that nickname in front of the group.

"Ellie?" Elizabeth heard Tessy said while giggling, turning to see her lover she saw Tessy smirking. "I'll do anything as long as you forget about that name." Tessy only replied with a simple nope. "Besides that nickname is cute and seeing your reaction to it is priceless." Elizabeth wanted to crawl underneath the table and hide there as she now heard the Moon Sisters joining in on the laughter. "Please let there be a random attack so everyone to can ignore that nickname." Alice, upon realizing that she called her cousin by that nickname meekly apologized. Tandem was confused on why a simple nickname was to be ashamed of.

When Crowe mention how serious she was on fighting against the Ahmarhan the occultist broke out of her embarrassed funk and looked at the bard with a determined look. "As serious when it comes to all of the other supernatural and magical threats that I faced before and now. So tell me where to find this ultimate weapon so I can use it against those mary sues." Alice looked at both her cousin and the bard, confused on what the Ahmarhan are. "The Ahmarhan are a group that claim to be guardians of existence but instead are nothing more but a bunch of genocidal tyrants. " Tandem said, Alice was surprised to hear how much rage was in his voice.

"To make a long description short, think of them as nazis and you were hanging out with Hitler... only Hitler actually looked like a member of the Aryan race and had a nice set of tits." both Elizabeth and Alice grimace at the disturbing mental image that came to their minds. They were mercifully free from that thought when Jason said he can defeat the beast guarding the jewel in seconds. "Oh look out everyone, we have a badass here." both women said in jesting tones. The Moon Sisters looked at the two cousins the same way a school teacher would look at a student was misbehaving in class. "You may be a skilled warrior but even we doubt that it would take a second for the vermin to die. After all thousands if not million others tried and failed."

After the sisters were done speaking Alice back to Tandem if he knew who the sisters were and why is being a bard important, Tandem only responded that he doesn't know. Elizabeth saw the two of them look to her, no doubt they wanted her to give them answers. "It's a very long story guys. I think it's better if the Weird Sisters and Casanova here tell you their back stories." the sisters were about to explain who they were until Fauna came in and started arguing with Crowe about the weapon, catching both everyone's surprise and interest. After the two fought and Crowe showed that he didn't care about the others knowing the location of the sword.

"Out with it bard, tells where the sword is? It would be nice to finally have something that can actually hurt those bastards." Elizabeth blinked and soon to her shock and amazement she saw the auras around people once more, it was very clear to everyone that Elizabeth was extracted about something. Elizabeth wasn't just happy to have her powers back but to have them change in some ways. She can feel her connection to magic was a little bit stronger than before, so much that feeling these different powers in the room wasn't bothering her senses as much anymore but she still feel an obvious effect.

Her sensory power to see into other dimensions and universe by seeing into the flaws of dimensional walls was also highen, as she can see creatures that exist in another plane of existence that overlapped with both the arid and fairy worlds, these dimensions also merged together. Once more the rhythms of synchronicity she can feel once more. While the town was a good mile away from the house she can still feel the rhythms and waves of synchronicity coming from the town. The denser population of the town causing synchronicity to flood the air with a tangle of lives all hopelessly tangled together, she can feel the whisper of it again along with the omnipresent touch of magic. Along with being able to sense and use magic she too missed this power.

The ties to the rhythm of all the world, great and small, which sung to Elizabeth softly, and led her perhaps not where she had intended to go, but always to right where she needed to be. It wasn’t so clear as before, but perhaps that was the added complication of being the one holding the reins this time; she had to pick her own melodies to follow, and learn how to use this part of herself all over again. "I guess losing all of my powers wasn't that bad if I get an increase as well." Being overjoyed on both the return and increase of her powers made Elizabeth forget that the only reason this was even happening was because Wasp was now awake, once that fact finally hit her she sighed.

"Well my powers are now back, though they feel a bit different from before." she said, letting everyone who was with her before the merger of the two worlds know that Wasp is now awake. The Moon sister's spoke. "That is excellent news Miss Ashwood. As for the sword I believe it's best we go after the jewel first before the sword. Why have one ultimate weapon when you can have two right?"

Lobby 0
The Forbidden Lobby

"I encountered something similar to this creature but the one you describe was different from the one my knights fought against, but the smell was the same." Kira said as he looked down at the drawing. The spider demons he faced were rotten creatures fused with twisted machines, a few even looked like human corpses fused to a spider-shaped contraption that was controlling them like a mind controlling parasite, or maybe it was the humanoid corpses that were the parasites controlling the machines?

"Could the sightings of these creatures be tied to Maju's death? Or is this war attracting them like flies to a carcass?" Sol questioned, the timing of these things appearing into different world and the current events with the other kings were tied too much to be mere coincidence, somehow something is either taking advantage of the chaos caused by Maju's plan or... "Or this is a part of a larger Ahmarhan plan? If so this isn't protecting existence, this destroying it!"

Nisibisi

The battle between the two general and the Nisibisi warriors was a close match. A few of the warriors now lay dead on the platform but they brought one hell of a fight before they fell, leaving the two female general feeling drained with injuries to their bodies. Leviathan's armor had numerous slash marks with some of them cutting through the armor, blood leaking through it. Her armor was also dented due to the enhanced strength possessed by the Nisibisis, currently she was using her spear to block the machete like weapon used by one of the surviving warriors. As she tried to make a lunge to it's face the humanoid fighter dodged, getting a cut on their cheek, and swung down to her shoulder which Leviathan also dodged.

Leviathan turn her spear into a rifle and tried to shot at the Nisibisi's face but he dodged the hail of bullets fired from the rifle spear by ducking down, where he charged towards the knight and grabbed her around her waist. The Nisibisi picked her up and began to run back to the gun ship just as the shamans summoned a pair of demonic-looking bat spirits, the spirits hunger for fresh blood. Hearing the loud screeching of the spirits Levaithan used the magic crystal looked at the base of her spear to create a glyph between herself and the spirits, stopping them both.

Turning the spear back to normal she stabbed it through the Nisibisi warrior and the body of the recently slayed warrior dropped. With Ziz her armor too was damaged but not as badly as Leviathan, currently her feathers were orbiting around her to act as a shield from the female warrior who was duel wielding twin swords. The warrior knew that she couldn't attack the general without the feathers slicing her to pieces and Ziz was having a difficult time fighting against her since Ziz prefers to overwhelm her enemies with her speedy and multiple attacks to make up for the fact that she wasn't as skilled in close quarter combat as the rest of the generals, this warrior was agile and fast enough to keep up with her attacks.

Now holding her blades as twin daggers Ziz began to fire off the feathers as if they were throwing knives. The Nisibisi warrior dodged the first and second ones as she charged forwards. She kept up with her dodged even though a few of the feathers cut her body, the worst one being a feather that cut cleanly through her left shoulder, making her left arm useless. The female warrior knew that her chances on winning the battle dropped significantly against her after losing her arm, as such a new plan had to be made.

The warrior made a sudden left turn away from the forward path towards Ziz and the winged general was surprised as she was apparently running towards the ruins. Yet as she made it to the bridge the warrior jumped off, making the general take off to follow the warrior. Ziz quickly fold the falling warrior and dive bomb after her, yet the warrior was planning for that as she threw a knife with rope attached to the handle. The knife rope wrapped itself around the waist of the general and soon Ziz found what the Nisibisi was planing on doing. "Okay on second thought maybe these creatures can join a part of the order." Ziz thought as she used her power over the wind to give her more power to fly both herself and the warrior back to the platform.

Back on the platform a cleric arrived and chanted a holy prayer that banished the bat spirits away, yet the shamans summon wind and ice spirits to attack and kill the cleric. Leviathan summon white glyphs that granted her enhanced speed as she ran on them but once she was getting to the edge of the platform dark purple glyphs appeared, allowing to stay on the platform as she ran on both the side walls and underneath it. Ziz dodged the projectiles of ice fired by the spirits and used her own wind magic to counter the winds powers used by the spirits.

Soon Leviathan appeared at the other side of the gunships and used a glyph to give her a super jump while magical energy surrounded her spear, forming a massive spear head. She landed down on the gunship which contained the summons and plunged the enchanted spear through it, jumping just as the ship exploded. With now only scholars, scientists and mostly harmless occultists left on the ships the two general can begin to relax. Ziz landed both herself and the warrior down and used her telekinetic powers to force the other blade away from the warrior.

"I'm willing to spare your life and treat your injuries if you admit defeat now." Ziz said in an authoritative tone, she hoped that the warrior would agree to surround as letting a skilled warrior like her die would be a waste. Luckily the warrior reluctantly agreed and soon Ziz enter the ruins to find a cleric that can heal the warrior. "Send out a messenger. Tell him that the ruins of this world are now ours."

The knight saluted and told Ziz that both a doctor and a messenger will be sent out right away.

Logan

Logan was now wearing his big hat again and lab coat with neon symbols on it along with many technological devices attached to it. Beyond the bullet and sound proof glass was the sycamore seed shaped object that they later found was not only levitating, which made getting it out of the cave much easier, but it was a ship of some kind. They tried many attempts on getting a piece of the strange material that made the ship but found nothing worked. Brute force couldn't damage it, plasma and laser cutters failed, hell they tried both nuclear and antimatter bombs and they done jack to the craft.

"My god this thing is incredible general. I can't believe that you found it by chance." one of the scientists as he and many others go through the data gathered by the drones that were scanning the ship. Logan felt very proud for himself on finding the craft, it was given the official title name of "Project: Sycamore" or known simply "The Sycamore" due to it's shape, not very original but it was better than the names being tossed around by the grunts. "Spook fighter, god what a terrible name. We don't even know what type of ship it is let alone if it was made for warfare." Logan thought as he moan over the fact that he was surrounded by morons most of the times.

"So what are the results gentlemen?" Logan said, he was now the sole general in charge since the second general on board left to deal with the Order of Luminia on some other planet that contain plenty of carbon. The lead scientist of the group spoke up. "So far we found two main materials make up the ship. One of them is unknown so we may have found something new to study but the other one appears to be Bose-Einstein Condensate." Logan shouted out bullshit when he heard that. "Trust me sir, we had our doubts but the data doesn't lie. Even more, the materials used by the ship violates the Pauli exclusion principle, allowing electrons to simultaneously share quantum states."

Logan was surprised to hear the data found on the ship, this ship was starting to sound more impossible with each discovery made so far. "We also found traces of magical energy on it, yet not enough to suggest that magic played a major role in it's creation. We think both science and magic played their parts in creating this ship." Logan was now intrigued. This ship is essentially magitech but considering how long it was probably in the ice cave it was ancient magitech. "What about the sigils? Those caught my interest when I first saw them, I felt a strange power on them."

The scientist seem to have an answer for them. "At first we tried to match them with any known language we can find but we found none so far, so this language is either both ancient and dead or the sigils have no mean. But we detected a strange energy from them, even more, we found that these sigils are warping space and if our theories are correct, them maybe even bending time as well." Once Logan was very glad for his accidental discovery.

He watch a grunt moving the ship around, it was thirty feet in diameter, twelve feet tall from top to bottom and weighed close to twelve pounds. Since it hovered a foot off the ground anyone can push it around with ease, hell during the return trip back to base someone thought it was a great idea to throw it and it went through great distances though it crash right into a guard tower.

Logan knew that if he was too tell Haikara about the ship he would take it for himself and would never credit Logan with the discovery, hell Haikara may even alter the records to make it that he found it. Logan will not be shafted, this ship was his and both Haikara and the IGSE can go to hell as far as he is concern, but for now the latter is useful for both resources and manpower for his research. "I want to figure out what's inside the ship. While we're doing that figure out more about these sigils and what else the ship is made from... also bring that soldier back down to the ground." he said as the same man that was once pushing it is now floating on the air. It would appear that certain positions one needs to be when near the craft produces different gravitational anomalies, yet more things to figure out about the ship.

Alzis

The swarm of black helicopters soon found the perfect landing spots and began to make their descent down, everyone saw the various soldiers leave by portals and the soldiers within the helicopters were now prepare for a fight. Once the helicopters landed various troops down in jungle camouflage colors stepped out and drawn their weapons around Fanatic and Gabriel. Above them shapeless, non-corporeal beings were summoned by some of the mages and were waiting for the signal to attack.

Alzis soon made her presence known and spoke to them. "Who are you people and what is your reason being here?" If she hears any mentions of them being tied to any of the Rokuos than she will order her troops to open fire but if they are non aligned parties or even natives than she will let them be for now, though they may become useful to her.

Jason

Jason rolled his eyes, "Look, it wont matter what it is, it'll only take a few seconds. it would be no different if i were to face everyone here at once, the outcome would be the same. The others that tried failed because they did not have what i do. i have the Calm." Through the Calm he sensed an increase in magical energy coming from the one called "Ellie". he pondered if he needed to weave another symbol, but decided against it. these people here were not his enemies. Jason didnt feel like debating his abilities with strangers. he would let his actions speak for him when the time came. He had nothing to prove here, all he needed to do was find a way home.

Crowe

Crowe chuckled, "Well, Ellie, The Blade is in a hidden multiverse kniwn as the Drakesing Multiverse. its guarded by powerful Elder Gods and a certain organization. of course, why wouldn't it be? the blade kills and destroys through bonds. Stab a soldier, slay the whole army. kill a peasant, slay the King. Behead one Inuu, you slay the whole family. kill one human, you kill them all. Kill one man, you can kill every parallel version as well. it can kill anything it pierces, whether physical or not, mortal or immortal. It can kill through any bond the weilder desires. It destroys unity in its every form." Yet what Crowe did not tell them was that he strongly doubted the weapon would work against the Ahmarhan, but if you wanted to face an impossible foe, might as well get the biggest stick you can get.

Gabriel

Gabriel chuckled, "Better question is what are you doing here Miss?" he gave her a sideways glance, then walked past her, towards the helicopter. He dropped the pen onto the ground. it felt like the right thing to do. "Hey, Miss, would you like to see me blow your mind?" he said with a big grin.

???

Seeing the Armed men, she knew she had to take action, she could not let anybody kill rach other here. Suddenly all the soldiers in the vicinity were pulled down into the ground, leaving only their heads above the surface. She then took all of their weapons and crushed them deep beneath the earth. She then lloked at the strangers before her, the lady who had just arrived, Gabriel Weston, and the other one who identified himself as the Fanatic. She gave them all a look that said get off my property.

Wolf

"Of course. Something amusing. its the only reason i'm here. to watch." he said in a surprisingly serious voice. there was no smugness in his tone, and since his face was covered by his armor and his thoughts protected by the armor as well, it was hard for one to read him.

Kyle Helgan

Kyle, having finished his break walked back outside into the compound surrounding the shielded and armored research bunker holding Naegling. Hover tanks, power armored soldiers and VTOL's patrolled the compound including a couple of Pinger II ultra heavy assault tripods, known for being ridiculously difficult to take down and of course those twin repeating plasma cannons that made extremely short work of anything stupid enough to take it head on. They were the poster child of the Helgan Corporation Merenaries.

Temple quickly ran out to join him as he walked across the courtyard to the armory to grab their weapons "Ya know I was thinking one of those new Ionizer Coils fitted to my pulse rifle. I'm tired of having to empty an entire magazine into those fucking Trickster Empire assholes just to take their shields down" Temple said in a bored manner "Ya know those things just drain the capacitors even quicker than normal. Plus I heard if it fucks up it overloads the circuits and forces your gun to vent" Kyle replied in a serious manner as he opened the door to the armory "Yeah sure, but I think it's a good price to pay" Temple retorted as he went inside with Kyle.

Kyle shook his head "Ya know ya could just take a PR99 out instead. Operators out in the field against the Tricksters reported them doing more per shot than pulse rifles" Kyle said, entering the armory hold and grabbing an Anti-Matter Rifle out of the racks "They have piss poor range though. I mean sure it fires big balls of plasma rather than tiny bolts like the pulse rifle but ya know" He argued as he himself picked up a pulse rifle off the racks.

Fanatic

Noticing the woman who had landed had guns at them, one of his men spoke out "I'm starting to feel pretty naked here without a weapon" One of them said, voice distorted by the gasmask and helmet combo he had going on coupled with the power armor he was wearing. Then the woman spoke, asking them a question "Non of your business stranger" Fanatic growled at her, preparing to let out a telekinetic blast to knock them all down. He was stopped when the Golem pulled the soldiers into the ground "Well. Should have seen that coming" Fanatic laughed and turned towards Alzis and laughed "So comrade. It looks like you're in no position to be making demands, questions or otherwise" He sighed and folded his arms.

Svaboda

Svaboda laughed at Wolf's reason "And you picked the best spot to see it all, you want a drink or something?" He asked as he sipped his tea and looked back up at him. He took a deep breath and looked back at Fanatic and the new comers "Hey Fanatic, if you leave now maybe you can have most of your pride in tact!" Svaboda yelled down at Fanatic, taunting him from the safety of his shielded balcony "Don't get so cocky yet Svaboda, I still have a few more tricks up my sleeve!" Fanatic yelled back.

Elizabeth

"Oh so the calm is going to beat the monster?" Elizabeth said, she can tell that Jason was being serious with his claim but Elizabeth was having a hard time being that he can kill that creature in under a second. "If your calm is that powerful how about you go take care of the Ahmarhan outside and let you kill that tosser." Tandem panic when he heard that there was an Ahmarhan outside, how long were they out there and why didn't they attack everyone inside the house?

Alice knew what Jason's powers did to the larvae that attacked both her and Tandem and was surprised at first that Elizabeth didn't believe him, then she remembered that she never met Jason until now nor this calm thing. "Sorry Jason but Ellie here never heard of this calm power of yours, so she is probably thinking of the word itself. But still can you really kill something in a second?"Alice heard Elizabeth shout on her not to call her by that name but she ignored her.

Soon Crowe explained where the blade is hidden. "So a multiverse guarded and possible run by goods, we're sure that this multiverse isn't my world right?" Elizabeth said, finally some similarity with the Drakesing Multiverse and the one she comes from. "You know putting my girlfriend's family into the lists of example would have been a nice omission. The sword isn't going to have a reaction to my knife right? Cause the curse on it works by severing the same bonds this sword attacks by." Alice perked up when Elizabeth mention girlfriend, she wonder which one was Elizabeth's new girlfriend, she decided that the one who was next to Elizabeth when they met was her.

What is her name again? Tessy was it right? Alice decided to ask Elizabeth later. "Now back with this sword. I may need it for other things besides the Ahmarhan." Elizabeth didn't say anymore on the subject, she didn't want to say too much on her world and she admitted too many secrets in one day.

Alzis

"My reasons are classified and more to the point that is my question so I'm not going to repeat myself." Alzis can sense a power psychic energy around the man, her first guess was one of his abilities was ESP. Suddenly the soldiers around her sank down and Alzis can feel the magical energy around the air, it lead her to seeing the golem that caused it, the source of the magical spike that brought her over to the world.

When the Fanatic told her that she was in no position to make demands several rocks and the dirt itself began to move around by itself, the non corporeal beings summoned by her mages that were still in the helicopters now acting out. "Unlike most people I don't need guns to solve all of my problems. I let the Americans do the gun play." soon some of the rocks began to fly towards the Fanatic.

Alzis looked back at the golem. "Who are you and what type of being are you?" she demanded. Alzis knew that this golem couldn't be the only thing in this world, she was made by someone and anyone who can create life must have a treasure trove of arcane knowledge lying around.

The Forbidden Lobby

"To tell the truth", said Ludwig in response to Kira's question, "it's a very ambiguous matter if you ask me. There have been instances of demonic attacks long before Maju was even born, but following his death and the beginning of the war, it seems to me that the number of such instances has gone up by a very large amount. Considering the fact that the war began almost immediately after Maju was killed, it's impossible to say which sparked off this sudden surge."

"In my opinion", said Leung, "both factors are responsible, along with the fact that Maju himself was in contact with demons for most of his tenure as a King; surely, they would have felt his destruction."

The Hotel

As the dark fog that had surrounded Father Christmas' party earlier cleared up, the rest of them slowly got to their feet, including Master Law, who had completely thawed out, though he was still rather dazed from the shock of being frozen solid. Only Father Christmas remained unconscious, however.

"Should we leave him as such?" asked Dr Poh.

"We don't even know what it was that caused that sudden thing", replied Wilhelmus, "it could be the reincarnated spirit of Maju or something, for all we know!"

For a while, they argued, until, all of a sudden, the hunky old Tenshi slowly stood up, propelling himself off the ground with his gigantic arms. As the rest looked on, Father Christmas draped his coat over his shoulders silently, buckled his two sabres back onto his belt, and turned to face them. He had an extremely enraged expression on his face, an expression that was almost… unnatural.

"Hurry up", he said darkly. "Let's get moving, and fast."

With that, he walked off, prompting the rest to follow him. Something seemed amiss with everything about the Tenshi, but none of the party members could put their finger on it; not Master Law, nor Wilhelmus, nor Higashi, nor Dr Poh.

Still, they followed him anyway. There was a force of willpower prompting them to do just that.

IGSE
Supreme Military Headquarters
Dimension 888,815

From the secluded balcony of the Supreme HQ, the brain of Nu (which had gone out using a robotic body) and X watched a military parade of the IGSE's full time elite forces taking place below, a parade comprising almost 5,000 men and women in full No. 1 uniform. The parade had been separated into four gigantic contingents, distinguishable by their uniforms; the IGSE contingent had black No. 1 uniforms, while the former Ice Corps had white ones.

"If you decide to join with me, Steiner Sveinlaugsson", said the robotic voice of Nu to X, "then there will be no need for your restraints."

Steiner had been chained with his hands behind his back in a kneeling position on a levitating seat; he had also been secured to the seat by his knees, rendering him completely incapable of escape (since his "Room" power was also disabled by the Jammer cuffs, an invention by Iuzun).

"On what logical basis should I decide to join with you?" asked the boy. "Firstly, your claim that you are my mother is highly dubious, as there are numerous technologies to create DNA. Secondly, you're a dying old brain rotting away in a tank; how is that supposed to command the respect of "the New Era of the Revik-Hyaakudzhu Clan"?"

Nu remained silent for a moment, before continuing calculatedly.

"Soon, you'll see", she said. "All these soldiers, these war machines… they will belong to the Clan of Revik-Hyaakudzhu. Maju may be dead, but his spirit shall live on in all of us who carry on his legacy."

With that, she turned around and walked off using her robotic transport droid body, leaving the boy in the balcony to observe the parade in silence…

Before anybody could react, however, an explosion rang through the top floor of the base. Not a very loud or destructive explosion, but one that would have caused much damage without drawing much attention, nonetheless.

It had not taken the four shinobi a very long time to infiltrate the supreme building, where Nu had been. Just as Nu went back into the long, gigantic corridor that led to her medical bay cum office using the robot body, a grenade rolled under the droid body, causing it to fly upwards and land back on the ground, damaged, but still functional.

"Nakayama", hissed one of the shinobi to another, "the target is still alive!"

Nakayama, the one whom the remark had been addressed to, nodded back at the other one, before leaping across like a blur, landing right next to the robot body and drawing a knife, which he used to pry open a circuit board on said robot body. The speakers of the body had been damaged by the grenade blast, ergo Nu's brain was unable to send any sort of signal to the speaker.

Before the shinobi was able to shut down the droid, however, it kicked him, sending him flying across the corridor and onto a sofa, which he landed on in an almost coincidentally comical way. That same moment, another two shinobi emerged from the shadows, brandishing weapons.

"Ooi", said one of the other two, "go and free the boy."

Ooi nodded and headed to where X had been restrained on the balcony. The boy turned his head to face the shinobi.

"Who are you?" he asked.

"We're shinobi who work for Wilhelmus", said Ooi. "We've come to rescue you and to assassinate Grand Commander Nu."

"I'd be careful with her if I were you", said Steiner to the man, as he helped to release the white haired boy from his restraints…

Nu, in her droid body, had succeeded in defeating the three remaining shinobi in the room, throwing them all over the place in crumpled heaps. Just as she was about to gloat her victory in silence, however, both Steiner Sveinlaugsson and Tougetsuji Ooi went back into the room, the latter brandishing a katana and the former adopting a simple, defensive stance, raising two fingers in the air.

"Room", he said monotonously. Immediately, a blue sphere opened, surrounding both himself and Nu. The robotic commander of the IGSE attempted to leap at X, but was promptly thrown backwards by a shockwave. Before she could react, Steiner had seized a katana from one of the defeated shinobi, before using it to cut a ring around the tank which housed her brain. Immediately, as the Room closed, the top of the tank shattered, and the viscous brown liquid erupted, spilling all over the floor. The droid body toppled, shattering the rest of the tank and causing Nu's brain to land on the floor, the last remaining segment of its spinal cord severed by the shattered glass of the tank.

Nu was dead.

As the other three shinobi got to their feet, Ooi walked over to where Steiner stood, looking down at the destroyed droid body and the dead brain of the IGSE's Grand Commander lying beside it in a pile of gory brown fluid.

"We should probably get out of here", said Sato, rubbing his shoulder. "We managed to temporarily disable the Magic Jammers when we were coming in here; by now, they're probably already fixing it. Let's go."

Steiner nodded back silently, before waving his hand and creating a portal to the Hotel.

"We can go after the Eternal Instruments once we've found out where Iuzun placed them."

"My best guess is that Maju's blood addled quest not only drawn them to him but they found amusement in his conquest." Sol spoke out. "Having their source of entertainment and possibly a source of getting new souls cut off is what made them them come out along with the foreknowledge that with Maju gone even greater blood shed will come which sadly it did. The Ahmarhan must have known that killing Maju would bring their kind out and yet they still slayed him like a dog."

Sol stayed quiet as he let his words digest in the minds of the others in the room. "Ludwig, have any of your tenshis report similar attacks to the one that happened to the grandmasters? The only demons my knights have faced are those summoned by The Fates and for this meeting they don't count."

Fanatic

Fanatic smirked. It was time to release some frustration. As the rocks came flying towards him, Fanatic released a telekinetic shockwave that blasted the rocks to sand before speaking down his radio "I need backup on my location, bring in everything we've got yesterday" He said in quick succession before clicking his fingers. Portals opened up above the Cult of Order fighters and rifles dropped out into their hands "Oh how the tables turn" Fanatic boasted before firing bolts of mind melting psychic energy at the helicopters in an attempt to kill the mages. That's when Fanatic turned back to Alzis "I am the physical embodiment of all that is sapient. A being of the Noosphere" Fanatic clicked his fingers causing his troops to point guns at Alzis.

Kyuubi

Kyuubi nodded, "Yes, we should. waiting around here wil gain nothing." She decided to let someone else open a portal, as she decided it was best for her not to reveal her capabilites just yet.

Jason

Jason shrugged. "If a demonstration is needed, then fine. dont worry, you are safe." He sheathed his blade. Suddenly he apeared in front of Elizabeth, he had already kicked her feet out from underneath her before she even noticed, while she was in mid fall a knife was flung at him from a strange-hybrid woman in the stairway. Without looking at all, he caught the blade, grabbed the faling Elizabeth and pinned her to the wall with the knife, but did not harm her. At this moment the Hybrid woman was reaching for a nother knife, he jumped, did a mid-air flip and landed in front of her. he caught her hand before she could grab it. She began to try and punch at him, but he was already in synch, blocked every blow perfectly, then flipped her down onto the floor, away from the Stairway. Then, without even looking, he grabbed Cyrssa's arm from behind him and pushed it up as she fire her gun, leaving a sizzling hole in the roof, but he was fine. Jason then stood up, and loked at the samll, perfectly round sizzling hole in the ceiling, "I know this looks bad, but it was on stun setting, it would have hurt but not killed him" Cyrssa explained. though he tone revealed she was quite surprised but what had just happened. "It wasnt the best demonstration i could give, but i had no desire to hurt any of you." Jason said bluntly, his expression and compusre was eerily calm.

???

She said nothing, as always. but things got serious. there were mages with this stranger, and on top of that, the Fanatic had launched his own volley of attacks. it seemed she would have to take action. Normal spells wouldnt be enough, so instead she began to tap into the Blackest of Magics. With out a word spoken, all the psychic bolts were shifted into another dimension were they would harm nothing. Then at the same moment She casted a spell that shunted all magic in the area but her own. Her forcefield protected the village from this effect. Then she made the weapons in the soldier's hands melt. These spells normally had terrible costs to the caster, but because of what she was, it only cost her the soul of the chicken she had slain earlier. She then casted a normal spell which suppressed The Fanatics mental ability to that of a normal human being. it was temporary, but it would last long enough for her to get them to leave. While she pondered her next move it was Gabriel who suddenly moved next.

Gabriel

Gabriel felt that it was time, he stomped on the pen and it exploded, the ink sprayed out into the eyes of both the Fanatic and Alzis. He then through the pilot out of the helicopter and removed any remaining personel, he then made the helicopter take off, as it rose to the air, he pulled a grenade from his pocket, pulled the in and through it olut the window towards the other helicopters. he had absolutely no idea what that grenade would do, or why he had thrown it, but it had just felt right. When it exploded, it it released a concussion wave whic blew Gabriel and the holicopter he was in far into one direction and the other helicopters far into the others. His helicopter crashed, but he was fine. he was now in the middle of the woods, hidden from veiw of the others, however, he felt that there was still something here that he needed, so he decided to dtick around and wander a bit more.

Dimension 1,105

"Well", said Felix to the rest, "I suppose we could get going. Who's gonna come with me?"

Mera smiled and raised her finger, opening up a portal to the city known as Inalbo, revealing a bustling marketplace in the middle of a desert-ish setting. Dragons and giant birds flew overhead, and the bazaar teemed with beings of all shapes and sizes, from fair, immortal elves, to hideous yet placid orcs, all sifting through the various goods and wares which the merchants had to offer.

"This", she said to the rest of the people in the restaurant, "is Inalbo, home of the Hazfa Bible, and the biggest city on Thuneza."

Without any further ado, Felix and the female Royal Dragon went across, followed by Hiccup and Toothless. Before shutting off the portal, Felix turned back to Kyuubi.

"Wanna come along?" he asked.

The other two simply sat silently, looking at nothing in particular, before Ludwig spoke up somewhat reluctantly.

"Klingsor", he said, "was very knowledgeable on the races of the Ancient Demons of the Different Realities. Before he lost his position, he would trawl the ancient libraries hidden in the pocket universes all over, trying to learn more about these beings. That, of course, led to his obsession with the dark arts, thus causing his... downfall."

"Even so, we still have the question on how to address these sudden demonic manifestations", said Leung. "While Kira and his men may not have been attacked by them yet, if the occurrences of such incidents is any indication of present events, things could well spiral out of control very soon...'

Dimension ???

Ferid had been chained to a horizontal St. Andrew's cross in the middle of the torture chamber. As she lay on the table, resigned to whatever tortures that were to come her way, the dark figure of the interrogator silently withdrew a small box of thin needles from a cupboard, before attaching one to a syringe filled with a foul smelling, clear liquid. She had already been tortured nonstop for almost three days; the only things keeping her alive were the IV tubes connected to her body and the immense pain of all the creative methods of information extraction the interrogator had up his sleeve.

"Perhaps a bit of ammonium hydroxide under your fingernails should get you to tell us", said the interrogator as he stepped from the shadows, into the fierce spotlight that had illuminated the almost naked body of the young woman, revealing himself as MAJ Biel Bielag, the chief torturer. With a ruthlessly quiet efficiency, he bent down and inserted the needle underneath Ferid's left thumbnail, compressing the plunger. Though she had been gagged (both with tape and with a wad of toilet paper stuffed into her mouth), a muted scream was still able to escape as the solution seared her flesh.

This torment was different from every other that had been forced upon her in the previous three days; it was pure, concentrated agony under her thumbnail.

"Will you tell me where the Azanur is hiding? If you do, I will remove your gag and cease the torture at once!" Ferid shook her head and continued convulsing hideously in her restraints.

As a number of other generals walked over and watched on from one of the viewing windows on an upper floor, Bielag withdrew the needle and inserted it into the left index finger, continuing with the torture. By the time he reached the ring finger of her left hand, however, the syringe was empty. Grunting in frustration, Bielag climbed onto the St. Andrew's cross, straddling Ferid and removing her blindfold.

"I will up the ante if I have to", he screamed in her face, as he slowly moved the needle closer and closer to her eye...

...

My blood is in you.

...

At that moment, just as the needle was about to enter the girl's eye, she tore her hand out of one of the handcuffs, leaving the gruesome appendage stuck there. Bielag screamed in horror, falling off the crude operating table. Doing the same with the rest of her limbs, Ferid tore the gag off her mouth by scratching her face against the operation table, leaving horrible abrasions on her mouth.

"Now", she said to Bielag, who lay on the floor, too horrified to move, "you will die." As she slowly walked over to where he lay, on the stumps of her crudely severed legs, the generals standing at the observation hall looked on, all too dumbfounded by the scene to be able to react at all. The moment she got to where Bielag lay, Ferid dropped to her knees, lowering her mouth to the man's face and kissing him furiously.

"And you shall die."

...

At that same moment, just as Ferid clumsily got up from where the corpse of Bielag lay, a squad of shock troops kicked down the door of the operation room and riddled Ferid with bullets until she lay on the floor in a completely unrecognisable heap.

"Colonel Ferid", said the lieutenant uneasily.

"What is it?" asked COL Ferid gruffly.

"Due to certain circumstances, we've had to kill your daughter. As ordered by Iuzun, we left her brain intact."

COL Ferid chuckled darkly, sipping at the alcoholic drink on his table.

"So Iuzun's truth drug didn't work after all."

"It never arrived, sir. The ship carrying the vial was shot down by a squadron of fighters belonging to a splinter group of the Maju Army."

"If that's the case, send her body to Gubrasz Base in Dimension 726,833 at once. I shall proceed to our base there to carry out the Brain Dissection on her."

Elizabeth

Elizabeth looked at the man with confusing by his comment on her being safe. Before she can say a word she saw Jason appear before her just as quickly as she blink, it took her a while to realize that she was falling. Once more Elizabeth blinked and now she was pinned on the wall along with a knife that Elizabeth deduced belonged to Kyne. Elizabeth watched Jason defeat both Kyne and Cyrssa with no effort, both Tessy and Alice were on Elizabeth's sides to make sure she wasn't hurt and found that Jason kept his word on not hurting her.

Once Elizabeth finally moved away from the wall and showed both Alice and Tessy she was alright as she turn to Jason, who she found his calm eerie. "That demonstration would have been better if you included Alzis and not me." Alzis didn't say anything to Elizabeth, mainly because she went outside during the demonstration as to avoid becoming the next person Jason would attack. The Moon Sisters created a portal leading back to the restaurant. "Unless there is any loose ends that you all feel that is of need to be dealt with we must go." they turn to Violet.

"We know that you want to find your sister but we can't be waiting for her while there is a multiversal war threatening lives mixed with the awakening of some destroyer looming at large. Chances are there is other matters happening that we don't know, that's why we need to find this jewel because it is one of the keys to ending the war. We will find your sister after we have found the jewel, but in the meantime we are asking for the final time if there is anyone else that wants to help us find the jewel and slay a vermin that is guarding it."

Elizabeth spoke after they were done. "Yeah we have one loose end that was present before the worlds merged." Elizabeth turn to Crowe. "Mainly why you didn't kill that Ahmarhan while he was passed out? His helmet was off mate, you could have stabbed him on the forehead, bashed his head in or even slit his throat. No, instead you let him live so he can wake up." Elizabeth walked to the same spot that Kyne was sitting before she left the living room.

"Don't tell me that you're like Fauna who actually wants these bastards around? Because if so I will tell you the same thing I told her. Any good this bastards have done is rendered null when faced with the fact that they are nothing more but tyrannical fuckwits who pretty much use everyone as their playthings and then kills them whenever they bloody please. If reality needs these fuckers so badly than I say let it burn away until nothings left of it." The mage said, in truth while she sounded confident on her talk about letting reality be destroyed so the Ahmarhan can fall Elizabeth still wasn't sure if she can willing let all of existence be destroyed.

Sure she can't let it be under the control of the Ahmarhan but letting the bane of all existence have it's way and erase everything would sound like something an abyss cultists would do and those wankers are high up on her hate list. "God damn, there has to be a third option that I'm not seeing yet. I can't let the Ahmarhan exist and having a new group similar to them would only have them become corrupt because that is the law when it comes to sapient beings and power. But I can't have everything be destroyed because what is the point of being free if you're going to spend whatever seconds or minutes of it in fear." Elizabeth put her hands on her face and groan, her mind trying but still finding no answers of how to choose freedom without also choosing oblivion.

Sol Kira

After hearing about Klingsor's obsession with the dark arts and demonic beings and how it lead to his fall Sol was rather grimly reminded of his own power and how it offers him both the power to summon, command and banish demons. "Klingsor was a weak minded and spirited fool. My rites and rituals allow me to summon and command demons but I have not succumb to their dark powers, my will and power far exceeds theirs to corrupt me." Sol normally wouldn't admit this fact but in this context he has to say it now before they start thinking that he would become the next Klingsor.

"However your story with the libraries reminds me, my knights have recently captured a new world that has an underground library. Along with my world and territories having many libraries on ancient and esoteric matters there is this realm that I've been looking for that might be helpful to us." Sol adjusted himself on the seat to find a comfortable position. "This world is called Apocrypha. It is said that in Apocrypha there is a library of black books that contain forbidden knowledge on all things in existence. Some believe that the legendary Akashic records, the astral compendium to all of existence, is Apocrypha."

Sol stayed quiet as he allow the others time to process his words. "I don't find that particular claim to be reasonable and still find the existence of the Akashic records to be in question, but I know for certain that Apocrypha is real and that to this day only a few ever truly found it." Sol sighed. "Sadly from the few who have claimed to enter Apocrypha have told stories of many others who have entered that and how even in death their souls still wander the library, seeking out the knowledge that is stored in there. The environment itself is said to be hostile towards most beings and there are numerous creatures that both live and guard the books from would be thieves." There was one last piece that Sol left out of his description of Apocrypha. That within the realm the creator of the library still lives and watches over.

Sol's reason for keeping that information to himself is due to the fact that within some of the secret books back in the Order's temple they give away the identity of the creator of Apocrypha, giving Sol the reason as to why he wants to find the realm in the first place.

Alzis

It was Alzis's turn to smirk as the Fanatic fired off his psychic bolts, the helicopters were warded to protect them from both normal and paranormal attacks. In fact Alzis herself carried an amulet that would protect her from the bullets. "You think that you're the first being from the Noosphere that I encountered? Please, I've encountered beings born from both dreams and nightmares, illusions and hallucinations. I have seen the darker nature of humanities inner id come out as deformed and deranged creatures. The only thing that makes you different is that you have soldiers at your beck and call." a dark aura began to surround Alzis. "Where as I don't need soldiers to fight in my battles."

But before she can use the dark arts to turn the soldier's body suits and weapons against them she felt reality distort as the bolts shifted into another dimension and soon found her magic and the magic of the other mages vanish. Seeing the rifles melt off the soldier's hands made her somewhat better since now she doesn't have to worry on being defenseless against the soldiers but she still didn't appreciate on both the soldier's continual presence and the loss of her magic. Yet she smirked once more once she felt the Fanatic loss his psychic powers, now there were even again.

Yet Alzis didn't stay cheerful for long as soon ink sprayed on to her eyes, she covered her eyes as she screamed in both surprise and in pain as some of the ink got into her eyes. Alzis can only hear sound of the wave going off and the other helicopters being sent flying and crashing down on the ground, eventually one of them exploded causing the others to do so as well. Inside on of the copters was sensitive machine that if destroyed would have exploded, it was made to detect magic and to resonate with the magic it found to make a duplicate. The Fate soldiers pointed their guns at the now armed soldiers.

"I want the miserable thief dead! Who ever brings me is body will become a true member of my organization." Alzis screamed out, the surviving soldiers looked at each other and left to find Gabriel.

---

In the Numenera the city of the Shangri-la empire was well guarded by a force field with a series of crest guns and cannons firing off magical blasts that cause Luminia knights to be torn apart by dimensional distortions, with some being sucked into other dimensions by rifts in time and space. On the skies flying machines that look as though they came straight out of the pages of Leonardo da Vinci sketchbook, these flying machines dropping down napalm bombs in which the fires had their own conscious and began to actively attack the knights.

Out on the battlefield were some mages native to the world who learn some of the Fates magic and were not only shielded by spirit wards from the knights weapons and spells but also summon many dreadful beasts, demons and abominations. As fireballs and lightning bolts rain down and dust devils surround the battlefield, some of the demons began to act strangely. Some seem to at first attack the Shangri-la soldiers by mistake, yet as the battle drags out it was slowly becoming apparent that these demons were not only properly bounded but they were also activity attack the soldiers, knights and other summon.

At a full seven feet tall one particular being was easily tearing through the knights and their armor like they were mere insects and most gap and moved back in horror. The being was a creature that seem to be a grisly statue made of leather and razor blades. The creature that resembled a statue bore a beaded, leather, whip around it's waist. From its torso came to long arms with too many joints and fingers made of flexible razor sharp metal. From where it's shoulder should have been huddled twin mighty wings of twisted steel. Twice the length of the entity they are attached, and nearly twice the girth as well. These expansive wings, sheathed in razors as well. Made the creature before the knight to appear as a twisted angel.

The legs were as long as the arms and were digitigrade along with being segmented, they too possessed too many joints and ended with razor claws. The head of the entity was the most arresting feature of them all. A mask of fantastic gray and red plumes, bone and black fur. Set deep within the monstrosity's mouthless, inhuman countenance were two gleaming, crimson eyes, each multifaceted and pulsating with a inner crimson fire. The creature had no ears and mouth, though corrugated tubes emerged from the being's shoulder and chest and entered the mask at various points.

It made audible breathing noises, like a winded beast. A gorget of brass covered the being's wide neck. Jewels gleamed all over the creature's body, some glowing and blinking with their own inner light. The hips of the being wore a loincloth made of both chains and stitched patches of skin with black fur covering the laces, covering only the spot where it's genitals would be located, assuming it has any. On it's hand was a massive and extended meat cleaver whose blade was made to resemble that of a saw blade. The blade look torn and bent with cracks visible, yet it was able to tear through flesh and metal with no problem.

From the sky several familiars that are in truth dead birds brought back to life with wires, batteries, cameras and other mechanical parts fused their bodies, were recording the battlefield and were sending the feedback to Alzis. "THIS IS A NIGHTMARE!" shouted one of the nobles upon seeing not only demons outside of the city walls but some inside the city itself. Slaughtering, devouring and violating the town folk and everything else in their way. Not even the animals and dead were spared. "Alzis! You claim that these demons would be under our control yet here they are going wild. Explain yourself!" the nobles and lords pointed at the screens showing the carnage. Right now the main castle and higher districts were surrounded by both knights and a mot but Alzis knew that those wouldn't slow down the demons, not for long.

"It's obvious that some of your mages didn't do the binding ritual correctly and that some of them are not ours." he pointed at the masked one with the giant saw cleaver. "That creature is a Nepharite and most of us try to make it a rule to never summon their kind. Despite it's brutish appearance deep within it's mind is a scheming devil that is now calculating all of it's future moves." Alzis said. Right now the castle was warded but sooner or later the wards will fade as today is their expiration date. Alzis figured that he would have enough time to renew the wards but now with demons overrunning the city he would not have the time to recharge them, Alzis would have to leave the city.

"We can't afford to stay in the castle for long gentlemen, soon the wards will fade and the devils will surround us all. Our best bet is to leave and go find sanctuary elsewhere." Many wanted to refuse Alzis's demanded, but seeing the demons on the screens quickly made them realize that they have no choice but to leave. As the lords and nobles left the room Alzis continue to watch the screens, he was noticing a pattern. Many of them are only appearing in worlds that Maju one's own and conquered, he has yet to hear about them attacking world's own exclusively by the IGSE or by The Fates.

"That bastard either was in contact with them or got their attention when he was alive, either way now that Maju is gone they knew that their source of entertainment is gone and that with him suddenly out of the picture more chaos would follow." he blow out smoke from his cigar one last time before he put it out and left the room, getting ready for the portal that would get him and everyone else in the castle out.

Logan

"What do you mean it happened again!" Logan shouted on his radio. "Another suicide sir, it was the last members who were running the mathematics equation found inside the ship's computers." Logan loudly groan at the news. It took almost an entire week when they finally found a way inside the ship. The cockpit has to be remade entirely as there was no way for any member of the IGSE to be in and find it comfortable. More importantly the geometry and architecture inside the ship was so alien that some men who venture in had to leave due to complaints of feeling nauseous, dizzy, and eye sight problems and pain. A few of the men became a bit unhinged from what they saw but they were always unhinged so Logan ignored them.

The studies on the sigils both had progress and tragic setbacks. One of the scientists when venturing inside found that the sigils were responsible for manipulating gravitational fields, it was first demonstrated when during a retinue check up on the interior of the ship someone accidently made it flip upside down, Logan was going to count the men inside dead but to his and many others surprise the soldiers and scientists inside were still alive, yet when leaving the ship most were injured as leaving one gravitational field to another that was different. Logan noted that the scientists who was figuring out the sigils was becoming more withdrawn and rarely worked with others, hell he wonder where was the source of his mysterious inspiration. But the sorcerer ignored them since he was making great progress.

How ironic that the same gravity sigils that he was mastering would be his undoing. During one night Logan and some others rushed into the room where the scientist slept and to their amazement and horrified to find that he was crushed to death by an unknown force, on top of him was a plank of wood with a fourteen inch sigil carved on to it. Examination of the sigil and the area of his death quickly revealed that the sigil formed the point of a cone shaped field of intense gravitation, in excess of 190G (190 times the normal gravity of Earth). The cone was clearly visible to the naked eye as an area of distortion.

When he completed the sigil, it activated and crushed him. A circular area of pavement beneath the sigil was sunk by 1/15 of an inch. The weight and position of the plank was not changed. This plank was later removed, and it continued to exert force in the direction the sigil was pointed. A counter force was not generated (at least ill this dimension), so the plank
could be freely moved. This defied all understanding.

Extensive testing led Logan and his team to suspect that a false bend in time/ space was caused by undetectable matter or energy. light-bending effects such as photo electronic and magnetic scrambling occurred in the area of the cone, resulting in (among other things) a slight blurriness within the field. The range of the sigil was profound. When placed face-up, the sigil on the plank could destroy a target radiosonde fifteen miles above ground. Further testing was curtailed, as even limited manipulation of the plank frequently resulted in
the collapse of walls, floors, and so forth. Eight people were accidentally killed ill the brief period that Logan and his team experimented with the sigil.

Currently it was locked behind an iron clad vault with many security systems inside to prevent anyone from stealing it, assuming such a stunt was possible. Among other discoveries within the ship were a series of crystals that at first were thought to have been mere direction until scanners detected an unknown energy signature within the crystals. It was later found that contained within the crystals were radiant energy beings of refracted light. Studies of the crystals not only made the discovery that they can pass the test of sentience, they found that these crystal matrices were counted as both technology and living beings. The crystals came in different shapes and sized and like the ship that they came from they are apparently indestructible.

Each Crystal has several specialized areas, like the biological components of the human brain. The Sentience Matrix handles higher functions such as emotion and reasoning. The Interface Matrix is a complicated fiber-optic bundle which connects to conventional computer networks or peripherals. The Computation Matrix is a binary processor which is structured in such a way as to be capable of near infinite recursion. There are also other, less well understood portions of the Crystal Matrix which defy explanation. Foremost among these is the Superluminal Matrix which generates an indescribable, almost colorless radiance which is not based on photons, but rather tachyons or some other unknown quantum particle.

However once they manage to crack the secrets of getting inside the Sycamore's computer systems. For starters there is now a possibility that the very ship itself may have a level of sentience to itself along with the crystal matrices, however tests on this have not yet been implemented. The computers were quantum super computers, far more advanced than any of the ones in the base. The first thing found was a strange sort of algorithms, algorithms that at first were impossible to due with most of their computers but when used on their larger and strong supercomputers it was found that once executed it leads to a local violation of the Second law of thermodynamics: the computer gets colder instead of hotter. However with their computers the effect was much lesser when compared to the Sycamore's computer.

Other mathematical equations were found along with strange formulas, diagrams, and symbols. When the first researcher tried to study some of the equations found he was later found dead in his office. He scrawled the equations on the walls with his own blood before committing suicide. These equations along with answers later found in the Sycamore's computers lead to more outbreaks of insanity and deaths. The mathematicians who handled the scoring on the tests could not prove or disprove the computer's responses, as each formula and answer made
some sort of sense. Some of them made far too much sense, and some others hinted towards the workings of the alien ship. The computer's mathematics snapped physics and geometry into a chaotic mess.

Logan sat back on his seat in front of his desk with a sigh. On his desk were some of the notes he personally found when the computer began to discuss about thaumaturgy, he was practically interested in the parts that stated how both it and science have many gray areas with them. One great example suggest that the Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle can also be used when it came to mages and their power to bend reality with their craft, that observation can change reality as much as observing a particle can change it. The more Logan studied the notes the more he can feel his horizons growing.

He was now dead sure that Haikara and the others top wigs on the IGSE were not worthy to have this knowledge, he and a few that he would admit have his respect are the only ones chosen to know the secrets of the Sycamore. Logan was now making plans on what to do should any IGSE personal find his research lab to find out why he made his orders for newer and stronger computers and for more men, he will have to give them something to distract them but for now the notes were singing to Logan, telling him to focus his mind on them and away from the fools on the IGSE and from anything else.

Jahvi

After the remains of Ferid was picked up and shipped into the vessel that would take it to Issun Jahvi made its move. He knew what had happen to her both before and after his blood awaken with her, after all the link became present once his blood entered the woman. Once the ship took off most of the crew were doing their usual business, never suspecting that an ancient and foul creature would would board their ship and steal their most precious cargo.

The soldiers standing outside were bored out of their minds as they stand guard of the room where Ferid's body lay, just as one of them yawn the lights turn off and the cameras became inoperable. The emergency power generator kicked off and the halls were bathed in red lights, the two soldiers stood guard for anyone coming by to attack them and when they did they were dumbstruck by what they saw.

Standing in the hall was the most beautiful woman they have ever saw. Like a goddess the woman had long flowy hair that reach down to her hips. Her skin was smooth, unblemished and literally vibrant in it's pure radiant milky whiteness. The black haired woman wore a tiara of faded gold but to the men's charmed eyes they saw it as being new and gleaming. Around it were sets of diamonds, topazes, emeralds, Amethyst, garnets, white pearls, sapphires, rubies and perfect black pearls. Covering her eyes were a set of black visors, to the men they appeared as fashionable black sunglasses. In truth they bolted to the sides of her face, a metal rivet ruined what would otherwise be a perfect temple but the men did not pay any heed or notice to it.

Below the visor was a nose that was small and tip-tilted, her lips generous, and her jawline chiseled and firm. Her almond-shaped face was so even and smooth that it was painfully beautiful, it was too good for it to be real and natural. Spiky armor covered her body, sinuously clinging to the curves of her alabaster-hue body. Crystallized coral-like objects of blackish red and silver, chased through the design, images and arabesques of the most cunning and insane workmanship, both geometric designs and an eldritch marine motif. On her elbows jointed fish fins, sea urchin spines and shark fins can be seen on the vambraces as they run up it. The gleaves had spikes that resemble squid tendrils, the metal made noises as it moved on it's own accord.

On her back was a large set of wings that too looked like fish fins, her aura was the same dark one that would suggest that of a Nepharite but to the men charmed by her they didn't feel it. As they walked closer to her they payed no heed to the green baton attached to a long tentacles with mawed suckers moving on it's own free will, the wings as the membranes releasing jellyfish like tendrils, patches of her skin breaking like porcelain to reveal a thin, fleshy underlining, attached to bones made of metal, plastic and coral.

They especially ignored the silky hair turning into black, dried up sea weed that was moving towards them and that the woman's jaw unhinged unnaturally long, hissing as rows of short, metal shark-like teeth were exposed and a long eel-like creature left her through with six sets of mandibles opening. Behind the door Jahvi appeared in the room and can hear them men screaming and moaning in both pain and pleasure as the nepharite outside was taking her time on killing them.

Jahvi saw what was left of Ferid and chuckled. Why must we always meet like this dear? This is the second time now that I have to save you from certain death, is this going to be the recurring pattern for us?" the foul creature said, watching with glee as her body was already regenerating, the heap of flesh and tissue resembling now a human body of some kind.

Jahvi used his powers and the lid of the containment unit broke, flying off it's hinges and on to the wall. The nepharite grabbed the somewhat human shaped heap of flesh, a wet meaty sound emerging as he grasped it. Jahvi pulled on the arm and leg that were almost formed and ripped them off and tossed them at the corner of the room together. "Might as well leave Issun a gift in exchange for you my dear." Jahvi carried the heap and threw it into the portal back to his purgatory. He knew that the brain was stored in a different room, he had to find it before her body was fully restored.

Throughout the ship demons from Inferno began to prowl the halls, these bio mechanical monstrosities attacked anyone who they saw. Jahvi left the room and saw a blood trail that was the only sign that the female nepharite and the two guards were ever nearby the room. Jahvi began his search for Ferid's brain, quickly disposing any mortal that laid their eyes upon him.

Fanatic

Fanatic was confident in the situation until his psychic bolts disappeared and his troops guns simply melted away. And now feeling his psychic abilities nullified, Fanatic felt weaker, like he was starting to fade away. The sudden wave of weakness brought Fanatic to his knees as Alzis prepared for her attack. That's when her powers were nullified too. More chaos ensued as the environment was consumed with the sound of crashing helicopters along with the spray of ink on his face. Standing up and recovering from his sudden fatigue, Fanatic pulled his sun glasses off his face before throwing them to the ground "Don't just stand there! Kill them all!" Fanatic yelled at his troops in Russian, prompting the power armored troops to nod and pull out their machetes. A couple of them went after Gabriel with the rest going after Alzis's troops.

Fanatic cracked his neck, approaching Alzis in a confident manner before clenching his fist and throwing a haymaker punch towards her face, completely forgetting he had a second handgun in his coat pocket along with a knife. Though this didn't matter to him, Fanatic was angry and was in the mood for some good old fashioned hand to hand combat.

Svaboda

Svaboda saw the situation had erupted violently. The Golem's attempts at keeping everyone from killing each other had failed. Such is life in the Multiverse it seemed. Svaboda sighed, seeing that Fanatic was vulnerable though in this situation, there probably isn't anything he could do without killing anyone either which he really didn't feel like having to do "Well that escalated" He said in a monotone voice as he raised his eyebrows, hardly surprised with what happened but shocked that Fanatic had been outsmarted.

Sarah raised her hand when Felix asked if anyone would like to come along "Actually I'd like to come along" She spoke aloud, making sure everyone could hear her. When Mera opened up the portal she stepped towards it. It was much different to the portals used by the United Earth Governments and Helgan Corporations. Seemed a lot more peaceful and clearer.

"It would be good to trawl through these libraries", said Ludwig, as he crossed his legs and leaned back in his chair. "They often contain numerous ancient treasures, the likes of which cannot be found in other regions of the Multiverse. Surely, there must be at least one tome somewhere out there that contains information on these Demons and…"

That moment, a man wearing an ornate suit of armour marched into the hall and bowed deeply to Leung.

"My sincerest apologies, Master Leung", said the man. "Emperor Jiang summons you to the royal court. He requests that you make as much haste as possible, for it is an urgent matter regarding the demon."

Leung sat up, before standing up and bowing to both Ludwig and Kira.

"My apologies", he said deferentially, "but it seems that I have a related issue to settle back on my home planet. Please update me on any further developments if you need to."

With that, he gracefully opened a portal to Dimension 29 and walked through.

"Do come along, then", said Felix jovially, "we'd need all the help we can get."

"We will stay behind and defend the restaurant until you come back, then", said Master Lam to the group, as they waited for Kyuubi to make her decision whether or not to go across.

K'vazna

As the twenty kings of K'vazna sat around the circular altar on their grand thrones, the doors were hurled across the entire hall violently, smashing through the glass windows and falling off the turret. Slowly, the sneering figure of Haikarakainen sauntered into the room, both his hands twitching as he partially melted the ground as he walked towards the altar.

"How dare you desecrate the sacred Castle of K'vaznamisora", shouted one of the kings, Rokk.

Haikarakainen chuckled wickedly before pulling out a long pole from the floor and impaling Rokk in the neck. The other 19 kings leapt off their thrones and drew their swords, standing around Haikarakainen and preparing to strike him.

"You will pay for this blasphemy", they snarled.

The Chief of the IGSE, however, was unfazed. He bent down, seizing the air and solidifying it into two transparent, icy gatling guns, before gasifying his waist.

"Tamaito!"

Before any of the kings could react, Haikarakainen's torso began to spin 360 degrees on his gaseous pelvis as the ice gatling guns released an endless hail of icy bullets on the kings. All 19 of them were riddled with ice bullets after the first round; by the third round, their bodies had been shredded beyond recognition.

"Rokk should be thankful that his body was not completely destroyed. At least his family will have something to bury, something which is identifiable as their patriarch. Hahahaha!!!"

Crowe

After Jason's demonstration, and after Ellie complained about him doing it to her instead of Alzis, Jason only shrugged and stepped towards the portal, he obviously didnt see any point in wasting anymore time. However Crowe felt differently. When Ellie questioned him about why he had intervened on Wasp's account, his expression remained unchanged. "You couldnt have even if you tried. No one can leave the Ahmarhan, Death counts as leaving. If i had not intervened, you all would have been slaughtered. Either another Ahmarhan would have appeared or he himself from another moment would have appeared and the result would end with everyone who attempted to kill him dead. The scarier part is that you probably wouldnt even realize, you'd just be dead. Thanks to me, your not. So watch your tongue Ellie. Things arent as simple as your little mind makes it out to be." Others in the room would be shocked. Crowe sounded nothing like his usual flitatious self, instead he sounded and felt much darker.

Wasp

Wasp heard someone come outside and turned to see Alzis, or rather one of Alzis' bodies. "You know, you remind me alot of Kala-buddy, Existencial Dragon of Chaos. both of you are ignorant and grubbing for what you cant have." he pulled out what looked like a cigarette, he lit it then suddenly pressed it against the air, making it ripple. Suddenly all dimensional portals within this realm closed, the Marker prevented anyone from entering or leaving. it wouldnt help much against ay of his fellow Ahmarhan, but he felt it was a good way of stopping further shit from happening.

Kyuubi

Kyuubi wasnt sure until shesaw orders from her King appear before her. Folow them. Of course she was the only one who could see it. For her King made sure of that as always. She sighed, "Of course I'm going, this was my idea after all..." she said as she stepped towards the portal.

???

Mourning...her eyes were full of it, tears slid down her face as the souls of the Dead were pulled from their bodies and consumed within her. She felt her energy increase massively. A single human soul was worth centuries of energy to her, and she had absorbed more than a dozen. None of them would ever have an afterlife. they were gone for good. Anger nowrushed forth from her and the ground began to shake. She suddenly began to write in the air, the symbols she wove glowed in a bright white. She was casting a wicked spell, it would horribly disfigure and contort any struck by it, causing pain unimaginable, until they could no longer be identified with what they once were, the worst part is, this spell would not kill any of them. No, it would make them suffer forever. She continued writing the spell, uncaring if the others recognized it or not, besides how could they? this spell was a secret from the Library....

Gabriel

Gabriel moved farther South from the crash sight, and continued walking for several miles until he came across the endless waters of an Ocean. he saw a massive bird like creature swimming casually on the surface off in the distance. Suddenly an even larger Sea Creature resembling a leviathan emerged from the lake, snapping up the brid like creature and dragging it under water. before it went under, he saw what he felt that he needed. a tooth. it was looser than the others. he had no idea why he would need it, but it didnt matter. he pulled a rebreather from his bag, an item he had stolen six years ago, but it still worked perfectly fine. he put in his mouth and did what any sane man would not: he jumped into the Ocean and began to swim towards the creature.

Inalbo

Th entrance of the party from the Restaurant elicited little response from the numerous people in the marketplace of Inalbo; apart from a few brief glances, most of the people minded their own business. It was obvious that they were very much used to people entering the marketplace through portals and other such methods, and that they were used to seeing dragons and other mythical creatures on a daily basis. Despite being composed of what some would view as a ragtag bunch, Felix and Hiccup's party blended in with the equally ragtag market.

"Now", said Mera, as she slowly walked on, "let's go find more information on this Gabriel."

She walked up to an old man sitting next to a cart with lots of small, strong smelling dried fish in large baskets. "Excuse me", she asked, "do you know where we can find information on the Hazfa Bible Vault's thief?"

"Uguu szamuscz hujnes Ongles." the man replied, shaking his head politely.

Mera was somewhat taken aback, but thankfully, she knew the language he spoke in.

"Amanu origa flrh Uguu hujna. Haczfja nu Bibell Baurtu knagadin Bkvlai'i iien?"

"Bazak. Hajtu vsra mkmnl Vugashuseki blua Nubala Mokiim isa bouls Uguu nu merokk iuhs amanu Haczfja nu Bibell Baurtu kamien bpfashu."

"Otouhhze. Makinau elziz."

With that, Mera turned to face the rest of the party. "He says that the man who was in charge of the security, a certain Nubala Mokiim, was fired, and is now selling pottery at Vugashu Street in this same marketplace. The only problem, of course, is that there are no signs at all. We'll have to go find Vugashu Street by flying; if you don't mind, Hiccup, would you come along with me for a bit of… recce-ing?"

The old Viking chief smiled back adventurously, before climbing onto the back of Toothless. "Let's go", he said.

"Felix, stay here with Sarah and Mrs… uh… yeah, with her, for now; we'll go and look for Vugashu Street."

With that, both Toothless and Mera took off into the sky, going upwards and scouring the marketplace for the disgraced Mr. Mokiim, and leaving Felix, Kyuubi, and Sarah on the ground.

Dimension ???

"Greetings. Pardon my current appearance; I was injured in a skirmish with some enemies just a moment earlier. Despite my absence from the laboratories, however, my team has been able to continue experimentation through my supervision over the screen.

"Further testing on nothenium oxide has revealed that the substance is not amphoteric, as I used to believe it was; rather, it is an acidic oxide, and dissolves in pure water to form nothenic acid, a weak acid which has the chemical formula H3Nt ad a pH of 3.7. Now, I am still not aware of the reason for nothenium's extremely wild and nonconformist chemical reactions; already, it has displayed properties that no other known element has displayed.

"The reaction of 50dm3 of 0.100 mol/dm3 nothenic acid with 250dm3 of 3.00 mol/dm3 ammonium hydroxide was very surprising; the enthalpy change was approximately ΔH-273. The meaning of this is still unknown, but I believe that much more research will be needed in the future.

"Salutations."

Elizabeth

Elizabeth looked as Jason walked into the portal only for it to suddenly close. "What? How did this happen?" the sisters scream out in surprise. They tried to make another portal but found that none would appear. Elizabeth's attention soon went to Crowe after he made his speech and insult, she too notice his darker turn. "Well sorry Romeo for most of us here not being blessed with your bloody intelligence." Elizabeth snapped back, obvious the slight on her intelligence set her off.

Elizabeth got up and walked to the male bard until she was a few feet from him. "Maybe you haven't noticed oh supreme bard but some of us here are trying to be fucking optimistic in light of how bloody useless we are right now." she pointed at Cryssa. "I was suckered in by that damned elf to fight against them because she played on my stubborn pride and the fact that I hate most forms of beings that are like gods and having beings who gods obey? Of course I would immediately want to knock them down on to the ground just so I can kick them in the bollocks and twats while spitting at them while their down."

Without Elizabeth knowing a shadowy aura was now surrounding her, one that everyone can see. "But hearing and seeing just how ridiculously broken these wankers are as made me realize just how fucking powerless am I to do anything, hell how can I be sure that my own actions were my own sodding will without it being under someone's plan? I thought that after everything in my world nothing can get any worse, but instead I find that even if I escape from the Archons, the Daevas and everything else in the Illusion I will still be someone's prisoner, a slave for others to play around with until they kill me because they fucking feel like it." she shouted, the dark aura growing larger and becoming more solid as it takes a more smoke-like shape.

"Oh and it get's even better, because if they die than everything goes to shit and fades away because all of bloody existence needs them. You know what I say to it? Sod the bane, Sod existence, Sod the Ahmarhan and sod you." she sneered back at the bard. "I've been trying my bloody hardest to even care on what's happening knowing that there is a group that can literally make all of my efforts void, hell I bet they can even make it that everything I have ever done disappear in the blink of an eye. Honestly having my soul go down to Inferno just so they can purge away my memories of the Ahmarhan and what they fight against would be a blessing." Tessy gasped on what she heard.

"The real joke here is that I've been wracking my head on finding a way on both making everyone free from the Ahmarhan and without everything going puff." she made a similar hand gesture that a magician would use to make smoke appear on their hands. "But nothing ever works well in my head, assuming I even get anything." the shadowy aura was now reaching so high that it was touching the ceiling. "So I know that nothing is bloody simple, but I rather keep a shred of false optimism because if I don't have some way on lying to myself than the only thing left is the fact that everything I can ever due on this pointless "war" against them would mean nothing."

Once Elizabeth was done unleashing her pent up frustration about the Ahmarhan matter she was now breathing deeply. She glared at the bard, parts of her eyes taking on a black hue due to her sudden awakening of the dark arts. "Also for the last time. Don't call me Ellie." Elizabeth shouted, if it wasn't for the marker her newly awaken dark power would have caused a reality shift in the house.

Tessy saw what was happening and walked up to Elizabeth, she was started somewhat when she saw her eyes but ignored it when she hugged Elizabeth. "It's alright Elizabeth, we all feel that way as well. I know it's hard to stay motivated with what we are up against but we can't give up like that, otherwise they will truly win." the red skin woman said softly, letting her fingers go through Elizabeth's dark messy locks. Elizabeth's dark aura when down somewhat but it was still visible.

"I don't know what do Tes. I just feel helpless whenever they are brought up." Tessy can hear both sorrow and fear in Elizabeth's voice, it was obvious that feeling helpless was something that Elizabeth hated feeling. "You're not the only one who feels that way Ellie, I feel that way too. But seeing you take everything in that devil may care attitude of yours gives me hope on staying strong. So please, stay strong not only for yourself but for the people around you as well?" Elizabeth stayed silent but she eventually murmured an agreement, the aura was now faint but still present.

Tessy moved Elizabeth head so she was facing her. "Don't worry about whether or not there is a third option. Just focus on the present and when the time comes that we finally beat the Ahmarhan I'm sure there is a better path than the two that you are bothered with." Tessy gave her a smile and Elizabeth responded with a small one, the aura was now gone. The two of them stayed silent, just enjoying their close company.

Tessy moved her hands to Elizabeth's shoulders and before Elizabeth can think on what Tessy was planning she found herself pin to the wall again, now looking at an enraged Tessy. "I can understand that you're feeling bad right now and I feel for you, in most cases I'm willing to excuse your behavior due to your emotions running wild. But there are a few lines that not even my lovers are allow to cross and you Elizabeth Ashwood crossed one of them. I don't care how depressed or how frustrated you are I will not allow you to place any of the blame on Cryssa." she said sternly.

"I can understand that they got you scared but they hurt my adopted niece far more than you and I will let you take your rage out on her." Elizabeth was being reminded of what happened when she and Leondel fought right before Tak's funeral, the amount of rage in Tessy's voice and eyes are similar to back then. "Now I want you to apologize to Cryssa when I let you go." Once Tessy let her go Elizabeth didn't apologize immediately, a little surprised with what happened. But eventually the ritualist turn to Cryssa.

"Sorry for blaming you for the Ahmarhan. I probably went too far with that one." Elizabeth saw Tessy glaring at her. "okay I diffidently went too far. I didn't mean to and I hope you're willing to let this be bygones?"

Alzis

"Kala-buddy? If it wasn't for the fact that I find the dragon to be an annoy itch that refuses to go away than I would gladly start using that nickname just to pester him. However if you want to see a more perfect example go find the chaos mage inside the house." Alzis said to Wasp. When he put the dimensional maker on the air she can feel the Moon Sister's portal fade away and the power of the dark arts manifesting themselves, but not from her.

"What? Since when can Ashwood use the dark arts?" Alzis surprise however came to an end when she heard people coming by the door, moving out of the way she found the trio of goddess. The sisters walked up to him and the three spoke one after the other. "We know that you somehow closed our portal and while we may not know your reasons for doing so we need them. You probably know that Maju was killed, your organization was the one that brought him down. But you also didn't bring in a replacement and as such all of his competitors are now warring among each other to claim the spoils of his empire." the sister's explained.

"You probably don't care about the war or what happens to those caught in the crossfire, but we do. We also know that for some they wouldn't just stick on collecting Maju's former colonies, soon they will go after other worlds that have nothing to do with their conflict like this one. So please allow us to create a portal so we can take the people who volunteer to end this war meet up with our allies to find a jewel that is a part of the solution." Alzis rolled her eyes at them practically begging for the man to let them create a portal.

Alzis knew that Wasp wouldn’t do it because it would benefit him on removing his marker now. Back at the world of the Golem, Alzis stumbled back after being punched. One of the occultist in the group, a Taoist sorcerer and martial artist, sprang to action as Alzis pulled out a pistol and open fire at the Fanatic for punching her in the face. Alzis and the other mages began to sense danger coming, their magic may be gone but their sixth sense remained.

They along with their leader began to flee the scene, the normal members following suit.

Sol Kira

"We can try the new library that my order owns to see if there is anything of value when it comes to demons, otherwise we'll have to go for the libraries that my order has. Of course you all will be under strict supervision, I can't have anyone take those books or know certain secrets in those libraries." Sol explained. Of course he was talking about the Goetic Gospels but he wasn't worry on them reading those text, it was located in a different location far away from any library.

"If none of our libraries contain valuable information about these demons than we will have to find Apocrypha or worse get Alzis to help us." Sol audibly groan at the idea.

By a stroke of luck, the group was able to hijack a van from a number of troops stationed at where the Ice Corps base used to be. What horrified the other party members the most about that moment was the brutality with which Father Christmas treated the IGSE soldiers driving the car; the highest ranking one (a former member of the Corps) was skinned alive in front of everybody else, who did not dare to resist. The other two Corpsmen begged Father Christmas for mercy and attempted to demonstrate repentance for their betrayal, but in vain; dragging them by their hair, Father Christmas tore their clothes off, tied them up and laid them under the van, before climbing in and driving off, leaving the rest of the group behind.

"What could have gotten into him?"

The group followed the tracks of the van for a while before finally coming across the vehicle, on top of which stood Father Christmas. Around him was a pile of shredded and dismembered and eviscerated bodies, all belonging, presumably, to the former Corpsmen and the IGSE soldiers.

Nobody had any words to say.

You will make an excellent student to the teachings of Maju.

I am willing to learn anything as long as I can take back the Corps from the dead body of Haikarakainen.

He will die by your hand. Believe me.

How can I trust that you will follow your end of the deal, Nixa?

I swear to you that it will be upheld. On the Name of the Ahmarhan.

Shen Tang

The planet known as Shen Tang was the gigantic, rocky planet around which the moons of Jinlongshan and a few others orbited. It was home to one of the largest and most diverse populations in the Multiverse, with almost 95 billion inhabitants of all races and religions. It was also the Citadel of the Jiang Dynasty, the 49th Emperor of which had summoned Master Leung to speak with him regarding the Demon War.

For over 2 millennia, the Jiang Dynasty and the autonomous Grandmasters had worked together; the Grandmasters stayed in the shadows and trained the troops of the Dynasty, while the imperial troops were partly under the control of the Grandmasters.

This day, Master Leung was summoned to the city to speak with the Emperor and his top Generals on the Demon War and the War of the Rokuō. The decision they were to make would change the course of the Multiverse's history entirely.

"Perhaps we could go see some of these libraries? We'll need that information if we are to contain the Demon Threat effectively."

Lobby 7

Upon leaving the base, the four shinobi and Steiner made their way to one of the Lobbies, one with a large swimming pool and a bar with a table. As the other three shinobi took off their clothes and dipped themselves in the pool, Tougetsuji Ooi sat at one of the coffee tables with the large seats, speaking to the white haired boy, who sat on the chair with his knees pulled up to his chest.

"An impressive infiltration there" praised Steiner monotonously. "I don't know anyone who's been able to infiltrate an IGSE base and kill its Commander."

"Still", said Ooi, "We've got orders from Wilhelmus that you need to get to safety. Apparently, Zatoichi has found out that General Nixa, the one who succeeded Maju as one of the Dark Rokuō, is after you, and wants to capture you."

"Who's Zatoichi?" asked Steiner, pulling on the end of one of his white socks.

"Oh", said Ooi. "You don't know?"

"I don't know."

"He's the new Wielder of the Eternal Hammer; Illushu's successor."

"Oh." The boy stopped playing with his sock and looked over at Ooi. "Seems I'm quite out of touch, eh?"

Ooi looked on at him.

"In any case", said the white haired Tenshi, "We'll have to find Iuzun and retrieve both my Scales and Father Christmas' Sceptre. And we're gonna need a lot more firepower for that."

"Why's that?"

Steiner rolled up the sleeves of his white pyjamas and stretched out his arms, showing his palms to Ooi. The two jagged holes in his wrists were quite clearly visible, and still not completely healed.

"Courtesy of Iuzun", said the young Tenshi, smiling sardonically and revealing half a set of perfect teeth. "There's a reason why I haven't switched back to wearing slippers too, you know."

Dennis

Dennis was honestly getting tired of every damn being in existence with above average power having a massive stick up their asses and was about to comment about such a thing when some little demon decided to push his mute button yet again. Which honestly annoyed the Lich until he realized that the kitten seemed to be nervous for once which of course shocked him. Yet he quickly got over it when the bitch princess decided to speak.

This of course caught the thief's attention and due to the fact that he had nothing else to do being how a massive bit of air clogged up his throat he decided to listen. While the adolescent seemed to do the same thing it was made obvious by her occasional glances that she was still paying attention and was more then happy to throw him around the room if he tried anything so he quickly took the hint. Yet the he that she mentioned caught his attention as he quickly thought. I somehow doubt that she'll mention some douchebag waking up from a nap if he was a weakling. But she might just be fucking with us, I guess I'll just wait and see. Then after listening rather half-assively to her rambling like a lower class demon attempting to swindle some idiot into giving up their soul something finally caught his attention.

That was of course her brief "warning" about the man who'll kill him which would have caused him to burst out laughing if he had functional lungs and didn't have some invisible prick shoving their fist down his throat as he thought. It's a little to late for that you stuck up brat! I'm already very much dead and it sure as hell wasn't an accident! Yet the mage was rather nervous as the thought of his current form disappearing and him turning back into a wraith crossed his mind. Which was a sort of "death" that he rather not experience again. But thankfully he was able to regain his composure when the cunt finally disappeared even though that fact that the goth still looked ready to impale him made him a bit nervous.

Which of course lead to the feline finally allowing him to speak. But before the undead could do such a thing Elizabeth spoke and after completely ignoring her due to the fact that he was still a bit on guard with three goddesses and some anti-mage guy who has a little less emotion then a corpse such as himself would show if he wasn't making a camp out of his heart. Then immediately after hearing the three rather full of themselves and oddly weak sisters speak he quickly thought to himself as a massive grin came across his face. Fuck it, I've got nothing better to do. Yet sadly, before he could say anything yet another fucking gag was thrown into his mouth while the girl next to him gave him a look that promised a rather high amount of pain if he didn't cooperate. So the creature of course fought against it rather persistently until a gust of wind got his attention.

Yet the fact that it was concerning a quest he couldn't give a fuck about quickly lost his interest until a jewel was mentioned. Which caused his usual grin to return as he thought. I knew this was the quest for me..and once their done using it I'll simply keep it for myself. Since I'm sure that their "balance keeping" shit can be done without a pretty little piece of jewelry anyway. But the Lich quickly lowered his smile after receiving yet another sinister glare from his "companion" as he really didn't want his cover to be more exposed then it had been by the emotionless dumbass who more then likely caused her current mood.

But after the male bard woke up his smile quickly disappeared as he thought. Great, the horny lord of narcissism and shit music is awake. So the thief of course listened rather lazily until some sword with a fancy name was mentioned his grin quickly returned as he considered what the sword would do to the man who killed him. Yet he quickly threw that thought away since he's a shit swordsman and decided to only take it once the prissy goddesses were done with it and either carry around for a bit or hide it somewhere obvious yet unexpected since it was both overpowered and more then likely shiny..and taking shiny things is something that he had been doing for most of his life. Which of course earned him another glare yet he quickly responded with a wink before a sudden gust of wind broke his neck.

Aeris

Aeris was starting to get tired of Dennis's idiotic grin. So immediately after breaking his neck the demonic feline turned her attention back toward Elizabeth as her summoner's bones already started repairing themselves. Yet the woman really didn't have anything to talk about that she considered interested. But once the mage said that she got her powers back the cat's usual smile returned as she knew that once they left the gag that she shoved down the undead thief's throat could finally be removed without risking him either doing or saying something in an attempt to get himself involved in their absurd and rather childish quest.

Yet her smile fell slightly as the swordsman began to ramble on about some strange thing called "the calm" along with his skills before going back to staring off into the distance. Then the excessively strange male bard began to speak about the sword again and it's ridiculous abilities which caused her to think. The blade does sound convenient, but going through a few gods and an entire organization for a sword that you may or may not even be able to wield properly sounds absurd. That and it has far to much power to be trusted with anyone really..so I will just remain silent and let the thing stay where it is while keeping as far away from it as possible. Suddenly, "Ellie's" voice caught her attention so she quickly turned her head towards the woman yet again while the idiotic mage quickly did the same thing.

But the demoness was sadly meet with more pointless blabbering until a rather suspicious claim that she might need it for something other then the Ahmarhan escaped the woman's lips. Which both proved her point and caused the girl to give the female mage a rather suspicious look before the emotionless man decided to suddenly and pointlessly attack. But thankfully her reflexes was able to save both her summoner and the foolish soldier boy who was about to do the same thing which more then likely caused a rather large amount of humiliation for all the beings that he decided to attack. Then once everything was done she breathed a sigh of relief as she let both of the men go while accidentally removing the idiotic mage's gag in the process.

Then when the moon sisters opened a portal the adolescent demon finally began to relax before hearing something about a sleeping Ahmarhan that might have already woken up along with the strange but fairly powerful woman's rant at him concerning such things. Then the bard seemed to act rather coldly yet again and while the boy with the scar across his face seemed surprised both herself and the thief certainly were not after seeing him brutally murder an entire army while keeping a neutral expression across his face throughout the fight..and she agreed with most of the things that he was saying as well just from her own interaction with the king and her excessively strong subordinate.

When suddenly the portal that the three goddesses faded as a excessively strong surge of power broke through her headache and caused her eyes to widen in surprise as she thought. What..just happened?! Yet thankfully the girl was able to catch a glimpse of the disappearing portal which made it pretty obvious to her that they really weren't going anywhere any time soon. That along with the surprise that the three goddesses had shown to such an event as well. Then the "Ellie" girl walked over to the male god while giving a monologue for some odd reason before a odd dark aura along with a sudden increase in power surrounded her which of course surprised the demoness. Yet she quickly regained her composure once she realized that the violence wasn't targeted on either herself or Dennis, but she decided to continue watching nonetheless.

It didn't take very long for the woman's temper tantrum to run out and after the rather menacing thing surrounding the witch along with the surge began to fell she breathed a sigh of relief. Since everything was finally starting to calm down. Which was when she suddenly realized the trio of goddesses moving to exit the building which caused her and her summoner to quickly follow out of more curiosity then anything while Adwith stayed behind while looking at Elizabeth and Tess sadly and obviously wishing to accompany or even just help them once they finally departed while occasionally glancing at his fellow guests just encase they tried anything. Yet the cat only caught the end part of the moon sister's begging some strangely dressed man who was giving her a roaring headache just being near him while Alzis kind of just watched. So both herself and her summoner did the same while the idiotic thief patiently waited for the portal to reopen so that he can either state his attention to go or leap through before the adolescent demon at his side did anything. But this would certainly take awhile, so Dennis leaned against a nearby wall while the kitten leaned against a wall rather close to the door as they both listened and waited for something interesting to happen.

Dimension 888,813
Nebrath

"Harakiri Seiaku Haikarakainen."

The old man clad in solid gold armour slowly left his chair as he drew his sabre and stuffed eight cigarettes into his mouth, lighting every single one of them as the IGSE warlord grinned maniacally and slowly walked closer to him, himself drawing two icy blades from the air and whirling them around. The old man, in response, whirled his blade around and pointed it at Haikarakainen.

"You forget the stream which fed your village, Seiaku", said the old man, somehow able to talk normally despite the eight cigarettes clamped between his jaws. "Have you already forgotten the aid which I lent to your family on Arkenau when you were building your empire?"

"Sadly", sneered Haikarakainen, "Arkenau was never meant to last. Your feelings for your clan and for your values will be your downfall."

"Unfortunately for you", replied the old man, "you have forgotten all about… her!"

Here, the IGSE boss' mocking tone was completely reshaped into one of fury and madness. "Marik, you bastard!"

Without waiting for the old man to make his move, Haikarakainen charged towards him with both his icy swords, swinging them in the air and bringing them down towards Marik; as soon as his own blades touched Marik's, however, they both shattered, as a steely coating of black armour suddenly encased the sabre which the old man wielded.

Unfazed, the IGSE boss swept the old man off his feet (causing eight cigarettes to flit out and land on the ground) and melted his sabre away with his Devil Fruit power. The old man, in retaliation, leapt to his feet and kicked Haikarakainen in the mouth, causing him to reel backwards with a spurt of blood dribbling from his lips.

"Oh no, you don't."

That moment, a long string left the ground, twisting horribly and burying itself in the man's armour. Another swift jerk, and Marik's breastplate shattered, leaving his bare chest wide open for another impalement by a larger number of strings. As the old man collapsed onto his knees, the IGSE boss sauntered over and seized his cheeks, staring into his eyes.

"And now, old man, you shall die."

The man gurgled and laughed at Haikarakainen mockingly.

"Your days are numbered, Harakiri", the man spat, "Yuuma Haikarakainen is still alive. She will come and haunt you in your dreams."

Flicking his fingers, the IGSE boss slashed the man in the throat, causing a gush of blood to splash out. Within seconds, Marik collapsed face first into the muddy ground.

"Foolish old fogey."

That done, the IGSE boss created a portal to a planet on another dimension and walked across.

Now for Dimension 888,814.

Dimension 888,815

By the time it was nightfall, the entire group had infiltrated an IGSE outpost, whereupon the original occupants were promptly dispatched and thrown outside. The party members drew straws to determine the time they were to keep watch while the others slept, only to realise that Father Christmas was missing.

"Father Christmas", called Higashi as he went outside into the snow, Dr Poh's coat wrapped around his karate uniform. "Where are you?"

The old Tenshi stood outside, his sabres drawn, and the IGSE soldiers gutted and heaped up into a gruesome pile. The karateka looked on with a disgusted expression on his face as Father Christmas inhaled deeply, before turning around. In the dying light of the day, Higashi could see, with horror, the look on the old man's face; his hair was unkempt, and his eyes were baggy. His pupils, too, had taken on a glazed and yellowish hue.

"There's nothing here, Higashi Nobuhiro", snarled Father Christmas, saliva dribbling out of his mouth. "Go back inside."

Higashi attempted to object, but something about the look in the Tenshi's eyes told him that it wasn't a good idea.

Dimension 888,814
Kyyleu

"Do you know why I'm in here?"

The entire Parliament of Kyyleu had been rounded into the hall; following that, Haikarakainen had melted the walls and trapped them all inside. Some attempted to climb out through the windows, but were promptly speared by long poles that appeared from what seemed to be thin air. A large number of Cabinet ministers had already been seized by the razor sharp strings that also came out of nowhere, and had been hanged from the ceiling.

"No, no", protested the Prime Minister weakly, as he attempted to run away from the IGSE's boss. There was no escape, however; two spiked and serrated handcuffs shot forth from the ground, seizing the man in the neck and choking him to death.

"Does anybody else know why I'm here?" roared Haikarakainen in delirious laughter. Nobody else responded. A few people wept; others soiled themselves.

"If that's the case…"

Raising both his hands, the IGSE boss pulled out ten strings from the ground, coiling them into a gigantic rope and shredding through the ceiling. Large chunks of concrete collapsed on the screaming Parliament, along with a large bronze statue that had sat on the roof of the House till then. The moment the rest of the concrete collapsed and cleared, the figure of Haikarakainen slowly materialised on a remaining chunk of the roof.

As the few MPs who still remained attempted to run away, large tentacles of stone shot out of the ground, impaling or constricting the people till there were none left.

"Now, to get to 888,815. A new Grand Commander shall be appointed."

You have done very well thus far, Haikarakainen. What you do not know, however, is that you, the Great Puppeteer, are yourself a puppet. Indeed, you are only serving another purpose…

Fanatic

Fanatic pulled a Colt Anaconda .44 Magnum from out of his coat as the rounds from Alzis's handgun hit him in the chest. He was wearing body armor so apart from the flinching he experienced from the impacts he was fine. He watched as a mage and a martial artist jumped into fight him and pulled the hammer back on his Anaconda "So which one of you is ready to die for your master hmm?" He pointed it at the martial artist, however, they turned tail and ran. Fanatic felt what they felt though that didn't stop him firing 2 shots at the fleeing Alzis and her followers.

Fanatic then turned to the Golem noticing she was firing up another spell "Oh spare me the tears you fucking coward!" He growled at her as he pointed his gun at her, firing a shot into her abdomen "Go ahead, kill me you fucking piece of dirt!" He yelled at her once again, firing another shot at her...

Svaboda

Svaboda watched as he saw the souls of the dead be absorbed into the Golem. It was like she was a black hole of sorts. That's when he noticed an enraged Fanatic was firing at the grieving Golem, trying to provoke her into further violence. Svaboda teleported down in front of Fanatic and attempted to wrestle the gun off the angered cult leader, only for Fanatic to pull the gun away and jab the barrel into Svaboda's stomach before firing. Svaboda felt a cold sensation that quickly turned to extremely sharp, stinging pain. His hearing dimmed as he grasped his stomach and fell to the ground.

Fanatic stepped over Svaboda and emptied the spent magnum casings onto the ground next to him "I'll be back for you Svaboda, don't worry" Fanatic said in a hushed voice as he loaded more rounds into his magnum.

Sarah

Sarah looked around the market with a small smile "This reminds me of home...years ago" Sarah stared into space as she went down memory lane "It was spring 2058 during the...struggles" Sarah spoke in a slow trance like way. The struggles of course were referring to the Pandorian War and the Kent Crisis "How it has all changed" Sarah said in a soft voice before chuckling and blushing "I apologize to you all. I'm sure you don't want to hear the ramblings of an old lady" Sarah looked around at the group around her, the irony being she didn't look a day over 21.

Inalbo

"Yes", said Felix dreamily, as he looked up at the sky, the immaculately blue sky in all its glory, "it does remind me of... somewhere."

Numenera

As the battle raged on below, the leader of the Behemoth Division drew his blade telekinetically, exiting the hall and looking on as the armies clashed below. The appearance of the Nepharite didn't scare him as much as it perplexed him; Alzis himself generally didn't dare to summon the things, so there must have been something that attracted its attention.

Whatever it is, having one of those demon things around is never a good thing.

"Archers!" boomed Behemoth, standing at the edge of the wall and looking on at the battlefield. An entire battalion of St. Luminia archers came out, pointing their crossbows into the sky. "Prepare to fire on the command of General Khara. If the Nepharite attempts to come here, do not hesitate to attack it." Turning to Khara, a slightly shorter Sorenau with blind eyes and mechanical arms on his suit, Behemoth said, "Use your discretion, General Khara. If you feel that any threat is imminent, do not hesitate to fire upon it."

"Yes sir", replied the General throatily, before drawing his own crossbow and aiming up, which he was capable of doing despite his blindness, due to a powerful use of telepathy and echolocation.

"And now, it begins."

With that, Behemoth leapt off the turret, plummeting towards the ground, his sword poised to attack the moment he landed.

IGSE Totenkopfsbau-Class Starship

Major Bashi Tämin, the man in charge of the ship that was to transport Ferid's body to Iuzun's base, was at a loss. The reason why Ferid's body had been loaded onto a small Totenkopfsbau with only a Major in charge was due to stealth; the decision made was that the ship had to reach Iuzun as quickly and as discreetly as possible. That decision, of course, backfired when the Nepharite Jahvi attacked the ship.

With no other option left to fight back, Tämin put on his space suit and jumped out of the airlock, dooming himself to die a slow death by asphyxiation in deep space, while the Nepharites tore the ship apart.

Little did they know...

Kyuubi

The Maiden was about to make a comment, as she was most certainly older than Sarah, being several Histories old now, but she held her tongue, it was wiser for her to not say anything on that matter, for a multitude of reasons. "I guess we do shopping to pass the time?" she asked, not entirely sure on what the other two planned.

Wasp

Wasp looked at the three Goddesses. "Yeah...no. No one is going anywhere. I have just defied my orders, and the fact that i'm not already in Limbo being reconditioned is a surprise to me, though they could come for me at any moment. This marker wont keep them out at all, but it gives me a stable position. So no. Besides Jonjittu will be awakening soon. Your little war that you are concerned about wont exist for much longer. Jonjittu is a powerful foe. he is not easily contained even with our efforts. The Time event chains are weakening, we already have new ones forged thanks to your Alveranian friend, but its not so easy to simply replace them or to wrap them over or around the current ones. it simply wont work. It has to be done properly. The bad news is that we Ahmarhan can only do so much to keep him from getting free, but there are inevitable moments where there is nothing we can do to stop it, and this is one of those such moments. However, the good news is the Ahmarhan will meet him immediately as he awakens, we will not delay a single moment. Howver our victory is not guaranteed. And though we will fight him, it is inevitable that things will be lost, wiped away by His presence. Be grateful. i sense that this realm is no longer near the Prison. You will not be wiped away immediately." he snuffed out the remainder of the cigarette, and put in his pocket, to be used later. The Mark would remain until he brought it down.

Crowe

Crowe scoffed. "The Ahmarhan arent as bad as you think. you assume them evil, but thats rather ignorant of you. This freedom you desire is really superficial. You have plenty of Freedom. Most beings never encounter a single Ahmarhan in their entire existence. As for their King, i wouldnt get so over worked. Thats about as resaonable as getting mad at Water itself, the Entity, because it controls water. You've only seen their violent side, but there is far more tothem than that. they are diplomats, heroes, theives, spies, guardians, friends, enemies, warriors, murderers, good and evil alike. You may not like their power or their choices, but without them, we have nothing. they make the hard choices. They see the picture that we do not. Do you think that the King thinks nothing of you or anyone? Nothing could be further from the truth, and though she demands you to show respect and know your place, She formed the organization so that you may exist, so that you can have a life. That you have a Chance. a chance to exist and give yourself purpose." Crowe folded his arms. looking away. Crowe was there when the organization formed. It was his secret. Crowe: First of the Great Bards. Though he did not know Altyrnia's personal life, he did know of her goals and ambitions.

(Unknown)

A Soldier nervously entered Alzis' office, he had several paers in his arms as well as a journal. "Sir. I was told to give these to you. We found something in one of the villages we sacked in Dimension 403,401." he placed the Journal down on the desk. "We found this on an old magister's corpse after we raided his home. he had an extensive library and a few magical artifacts, but this was deemed valuable, sir." the soldier bowed, then took a breath. "This journal details the old man's encounter with a golem. i know that doesnt seem important, but this is no ordinary golem, thus why it was broght to your attention. This golem is a Traveller, but before that she was a Guardian. A guardian of something called The Library of Secrets. i know many such places share such a name, but we believe thisto be something we have not encountered before. This library has tomes upon tomes of lost forbidden magics that even we are not aware of it. This golem was creative from one such magic, but we know not the spell nor the ritual. The Library has vanished, we dont even know from which world it had originally resided in. However it is hinted that the Golem....She loved to read....so its possible that all that knowledge....is inside her head." The man was only a new recruit, but loyal to the cause, he had heard stories of Alzis, and it was enough to make him nervous.
