Mainly because I feel like Tunisia would be better off with the Italians, who is an important ally within the CPs and are a bigger industrial/military power than you. Also, I don't want to weaken the French too much, so they at least stand a chance against the CPs.

I forgot colonialism was still in effect. If I slant my oil rigs at a steep enough angle, I'll hopefully be able to steal some Sudanese oil.
