Andio Halluf
The Bannered Mare, city of Whiterun
Skyrim, the Empire

Andio was just waking up from a long nights slumber from the actions of his previous day and the celebrations that soon followed afterward. The young and somewhat arrogant warrior had just slew 3 packs of wild and rabid dogs the other day, outside of Whiterun to protect the farms and livestock outside of the city, due to he was ask to do it by the Jarl's steward on behalf of the Jarl. The rabid dogs kept pestering the livestock and even killed a few unsuspecting travelers along the road to and from Whiterun, and so it had to be dealt with, and what was thought to take at least a few hours, only took Andio a short while, due to his tactful thinking and skills as a warrior to take on and kill the beasts, after separating them from their packs into small groups or just alone, making them easier prey. Once he got back, he was expecting a bit of a hardy welcome with some meads and a personal meeting with the Jarl himself...only to see the steward who gave him a small pouch of about 100 gold septims and told him to be on his way, leaving him to go to the inn like he has been staying in for the past few weeks, while working in Whiterun and to spend all 100 septims on his own mead and at the bar and drink it, sharing the tales with his fellow drunkards, and soon stumbled up into his room and passed out onto the bed.
Now, he sits up, with a slight headache, but nothing he couldn't cope with. He soon would stand up and stretch, letting the past events of yesterday flood into his head...creating a slight sense of...annoyance of the disrespect that the Jarl has showed him with these petty tasks. "Im the best warrior to ever come out of Northern Cyrodlill! I've slayed giants and trolls and other massive creatures that make these little pests that i have been fetched to exterminate look like twigs! They not only not thank me for it, but even pay me this pathetic gold? I don't even care for much gold, but still this is unacceptable!" Andio thought to himself in frustration. So he decided that if asking for work wasn't going to work...then he would have to demand the bigger jobs. So he soon put on his steel armor, with his matching steel boots and gauntlets, and chain-mail underneath his armor. He sheathed his sword on his right hip(he is left handed dominate) and his two daggers on his lower back holsters and finally, his axe tied with his line onto his back with his shield on it too, and he would carry his steel helmet in hand and would soon walk with a sense of disrespect and frustration in him, thus giving him larger and quicker strides soon leaving the inn and before he knew it, he was at the Jarl's palace of Dragonsearch.

"Jarl! Jarl!" Andio roared as he burst through the palace doors and entering the hold's mead hall. "Where is the Jarl! I must speak with him! I have a bone to pick with him!" Andio would continue to pace through the hall and up the steps to what he sees as an empty throne, and he was about to make his approach up to the stairs as several guards whom knew Andio(they were drinking buddies of sorts) and were trying to calm Andio down, and even keeping their hands on their blades if needed.
Andio soon stopped in his tracks, just before reaching the steps and he would ask one of the guards in a serious and somewhat angered tone, "Where...is he...where is the Jarl?..." Andio asked with a gaze that even sent shivers down the spines of a couple of the guards, knowing what Andio was capable of when angered. Andio stood there, waiting for a response from just anyone at this point, wanting to know the answer to his question.

The Bosmer was indeed the same as the one she had met in Markarth, although he seemed a lot less miserable, if somewhat cold, which was to be expected given the circumstances. "He's the one I sent here," Valiaya told the guard, "you may leave us now. We have some things to discuss." As the guard left, the Altmer motioned for Thalin to stand straight. "So, you came, then. I had not expected you'd actually do that - thought you'd run off and hide, or something like that. Got used to the cold yet? We'll be staying here until a ship arrives to take us to Valenwood. I've not had the time to ask how long that'll take yet, so we might have to stay here for a bit if we're unlucky..." She paused, unsure what to say or ask to start a conversation. "So, did you tell anyone you were leaving?"

"I left a note. My father might send the dogs to track me, but he won't follow outside the Reach. He's got work to do to feed himself and the dogs. I guess he'll need to find an apprentice." Thalin gulped and regret flushed through him, quickly fading. This wasn't the time to let the past drag him back down. He was committed now. The Thalmor diplomat seemed friendly enough, which was unexpected considering their previous encounter, yet he only welcomed that. Thalin needed her and her boat.

"We're going by boat? Would it not be easier to travel through Cyrodiil?" The young Bosmer knew his native hills of the Reach like the back of his hand, but his interest in geography extended beyond his natural hunting grounds. Long days as a child had been spent poring over maps of the lands to the south, planning his escape to Valenwood or imaginary campaigns against his people's Thalmor oppressors.

Falkreath Hold,
Skyrim

Bows drawn, the two men followed tightly behind the Bosmer on point. Ferns and other undergrowth bristled at their step, alive with all varieties of creatures hidden beneath them, yet they cared not. Ahead, the flames flickered behind the trees and that camp formed their target. Malldrus pressed the back of his hand against his handstring, palm open to the men at his back, causing them to halt. Slowly, carefully, he edged towards a ridge overlooking the encampment and peered into it.

Days earlier, a small convoy of goods heading south into Cyrodiil had been lost at the hands of unknown ambushers. It had been lightly defended, relying upon the bribery of local guards to protect its contents, and as such Dar'tenurr considered the most likely perpetrators either bandits or guards sensing wealth in turning upon their illegitimate paymasters. He'd dispatched Malldrus to the hold, meeting two Nords who were in charge of administration and enforcement within the town itself. Poachers, he had offered the pair a purchased pardon in return for their loyalty. Now, they joined his best agent in re-appropriating the missing goods - Or, at the very least, appropriating revenge on those who had wronged him.

"Imperials." Malldrus whispered the demonym to himself almost as much as to his comrades. They began to move forwards, inquisitive about their encounter, but Malldrus motioned them to stay back. The soldiers could easily have been corrupt enough to have taken a small carriage to increase their likely otherwise meagre monthly earnings. Furthermore, he was unaware of any Imperial movements planned within the province. With the threat of civil war in Skyrim, it would seem unlikely that the Imperials would cross the border in such small number unless for subterfuge - Something that seemed to be lacking in their camp. He made his decision and placed his bow on his back, then stepped out of the undergrowth. Unsure, the two Nords did not follow him but remained ready to come to his aid if necessary.

"Hail! Welcome to Falkreath hold comrades - May I ask why you legionnaires are camped in this forest? Not that I would wish to appear belligerent towards the legion." Malldrus' initial warm greeting soon faded to a professional inquisition. He needed to determine whether these men had been involved in the loss of the convoy - And, if not, any other information he could gain would be vital.

"Oh... It's nothing really." She said forcing a fake smile, "Who am I kidding, I am a little upset. I made a promise to my people that we will get our revenge on the Dominion. But from the sound of your plans, you don't seem to want to go through with a war with the Dominion. Pyandonea will go to war with the Dominion soon, I am just worried that we will have to face them without the assistance of the Empire."

She sighed, "Don't tell me that that's true. Don't tell me that my people will have to face the Dominion alone.... we can do it alone, but I'd prefer having an ally fighting as well."

Before the setting up of camp was done, Ja'sari was already at the entrance of the ruin, looking at it. She was examining it, trying to get an idea for its age, so to determine the traps they may face and how to avoid them.

She waved to Esthael and Cullagia as they approached. But before she could she say anything, she heard it. She looked at the Bosmer and his Nord muscle from a distance. She reached for her crossbow, just in case.

Ylgim made his way to the top of the walls of Fort Skycrown. He watched as the Emperor left with his men, Ylgim wanted to make sure that they left. He scowled. No doubt the Emperor was going to order a boycott on his families goods, no doubt he would leave spies near by to keep an eye on him. The Emperor had forced Ylgim to hurry up his plans. He made his way down the wall and walked up to one of his most trusted generals.

"Alfand, I want you and your men to inform our allies that the time is near..... We will act soon, and they are expected to be prepared. The Emperor has unofficially declared war on us. We must defend our ideals, the dawn of a new age for Skyrim approaches." Ylgim said, "Only tell our allies, and the Jarls that have sworn their allegiance to our cause."

"When will they know when to act?" he asked.

"When the city of Ysgramor returns to the hands of Skyrim's children." Ylgim said simply, "And don't take the main entrance out.... I have the feeling that the Emperor has left agents in wait. Take the tunnels. You know the way through."

With that Alfand left to gather his men, and Ylgim approached Jon.

"Jon....YOU IDIOT!" Ylgim yelled, "You let slip the Embassy idea.... Ugh." Ylgim took a second, "I need you to be more careful, understand?"

Jon grimaced. "Yes, yes, he heard me while I was muttering." He closed his eye. "And sorry, I'm not usually that chatty. But it served a valuable purpose, regardless." He opened his eye, his features fierce and stoic. "Now we know the Emperor's true intentions. The fact that he would let potential allies go to waste... Now I know for sure. If this rebellion is happening, I know which side I am on. I fully intend to see this path through. Whether it leads to glory or death, I shall follow it."

Narsis
Argonian Morrowind

Sakeepa-Tah hated politics. He always thought that the petty squabbling in the halls of powers was silly. He thought that brute force was a much more effective way of making decisions. However, through a complex mix of nepotism and populism, the popular Sakeepa-Tah was recently appointed Colonial Administrator of Argonian Morrowind, and he was starting to enjoy it. He knew that he was just a puppet, a famous face that higher-ups could use to advance their positions, but he had to admit that going from murdering the Count's son to Black Marsh hero was alright. It was apparent that his appointment was only supposed to be a stick in the eye to the Empire, one that the ruling An-Xileel faction used to their advantage. Yes, Sakeepa-Tah was just a pawn in a complex game of Chess. And yet, he loved it.

Sakeepa-Tah had only been Colonial Administrator for one month, but he was already learning the ropes. The nation of Argonia was technically ruled by a Council of high-ranking An-Xileel members, who were to meet yearly in the capital of Lilmoth. In reality, that was not true. The Governors and Local Councils controlled all the real business, with Council meeting being nothing short of tavern brawls. The Colonial Administrators were likewise given more power, although not much was done with it. Encouraging Argonians to move to the colonies and have children was the extent of governance in much of Argonian Morrowind. The Colonial government let bygones be bygones, for the most part. Sakeepa-Tah spent most of his day at the Fighters Guild, one of the few vestiges of Imperial colonization left in the city of Narsis.

When he wasn't doing that, he spent most of his time with dictation. The An-Xileel, seeing the propaganda benefit in his story of his escape from Cyrodiil, had sent a scribe to turn it in to book form. The scribe, known as Nezteeva, was an accomplished author, or so Sakeepa-Tah was told. He had no time for reading new works. If the classics were good enough for his ancestors, they were good enough for him. Nezteeva sure carried himself like a writer, though, what with his constant slight condescension and the upright way he walked.

Between Fighting and Dictation, there was little time for actual governance. This was good, as there was very little actual governance to be done. A Dunmeri Tribunal Revivalist movement, called the Tribunalists, was making trouble in the northern reaches of the Colony, and Sakeepa-Tah had ordered it to be mercilessly crushed. If something as demonstrably false as Tribunalism could make a comeback, many in Lilmoth believed that Dunmeri Nationalism, put down twenty years ago at the Battle of Old Keep, could also make a comeback. Sakeepa-Tah believed that they worried too much, which made sense: The job of a Councilor was to worry and scream. It was his job to act.

And act he had. As his first order of business, Sakeepa-Tah had ordered to expulsion of all Dunmer from Narsis. It was obvious that the Dunmer were a less superior race. Their treatment now was just retribution for their past treatment of Argonians.

Today was a special day. The An-Xileel Council has wrapped up, and the representatives of all the Administrators were sent back to brief their masters. Sakeepa-Tah's Representative was named Zaleel, an elderly party loyalist. The An-Xileel could tell him to jump into Red Mountain, and Zaleel would do it. His father had warned him that Zaleel always parroted the party line, no matter what. Zaleel had no sense of hypocrisy. For him, it was simple: The An-Xileel speak for the Hist, and the Hist cannot be wrong.

Sakeepa-Tah was just finishing up with Nezteeva when a hurried-looking Zaleel burst into the elegant parlor of the Administration building, which was a repurposed Imperial castle.

"Ah, my honored scale-friend. Please, take a seat." said Sakeepa-Tah, hiding his anger at the old man's interruption.

"This is important! This cannot wait! The Hist have spoken!" he said with glee. The elderly Argonian was jumping up and down like a child.

"Very well. Nezteeva, if you will excuse us."

Nezteeva gave a curt nod, picked up his supplies, and left the room.

"Now, what was this all about?"

Andio was still annoyed as the guards continue to mumble in hushed tones away from him at his sudden burst of anger and entrance into the hall of the palace. One of the guards went off in search of the Jarl or at least the Jarl's steward to meet with Andio over his issues. Andio, being known in Whiterun as a good warrior and even a possible Thane to the Jarl, would take a seat in one of the many empty chairs in the palace's mead hall, and would be staring down the guards, who would give him quick glances, before looking back at each other, trying to go back to their duties...but not sure what to do, due to having a warrior like Andio just sitting in the mead hall, angered and annoyed for Talos knows what, demanding to see the Jarl...they weren't sure whether to just ignore the man and go back to their posts or stay close to him, if another outburst occurs.
The guards themselves knew Andio for the past few weeks, after all, he had become drinking buddies with them, and grew to love listening to his tales of great hunts of beasts and fights with bandits and rouge warriors, and usually Andio was in a very boastful and cheerful mood, and usually always outgoing, but today...today seemed very strange, seeing him in this annoyed and frustrated state...they knew what he was capable of as a warrior, while he was in his boastful and arrogant self...they kinda feared what he might do when he is in this sort of state.

Andio would continue eyeing the guards and looking around the mead hall, waiting patiently, yet a sigh of frustration would escape his lips as he mumbled something under his breath. "That Jarl...who does he think he is to not give an audience with me...the man who for the past 3 weeks, has been slaying the vermin that carry disease into his hold and the dogs that attempt to slaughter his livestock, and he dares not even give me recognition from it. Im a warrior of higher caliber who deserves greater task than mere vermin and dog, and he does not even grant me a personal audience with him, not even once! I have half a mind to go and get myself an audience and see him in his chambers if that is what it takes!" Andio thought to himself as he sat there, waiting for the Jarl or anyone of their court to arrive and greet him.

During the wait, Andio would help himself to some of the foods and mead that sat upon the tables of the mead hall, none of the guards daring to stop the warrior, thinking that he deserved at least this...and also because they were still intimidated by him, and so did not dare to tell him otherwise.

"I see. No regrets in not telling him yourself, rather than just leaving a note?" Valiaya found it a rather cowardly way out of things, leaving a note rather than telling the man, whoever he was, that he was leaving for Valenwood, face to face. "Well, no time to change your mind on that now, I guess. What is done is done." The Altmer sat down, throwing a piece of fur over her shoulders as an improvised cloak to keep her warm. She motioned for Thalin to sit down, too. "A ship is a faster, and an easier way to travel than on foot or by horse. Can sleep while still travelling as well. Not only that, if we were to go on foot we'd have to cross the border in Cyrodiil. The same border that is currently filled with Legionnaires and Dominion soldiers. A ship will be much safer, and will bring us directly to Valenwood and much more pleasant places in general, when compared to having to travel through large parts of the Empire." She gave a quick nod. "We'll go by ship. I should probably talk with the others here concerning the situation back in the Dominion, though..."

"The Jarl," a voice came from the stairs, "is here." The Jarl descended the stairs, guards and Housecarl at his sides as he made his way to his throne, remaining quiet until he sat down. "So calm down, man. You must be Andio Halluf, correct?" Not giving the man the time to react, the Jarl continued. "Good. I have work for you. You see, there's this troll up in the mountains near Riverwood. He's been... less than pleasant the past few weeks. I want you to get rid of him. Surely you could do that? There's a reward in it for you..."

Andio was immediately knocked back into reality as soon as the Jarl appeared, and so he would stand and approached the throne to hear the Jarl's words. Without saying a word(mainly due to not being able to say a word), he would stand there and listen carefully, picking up the bits and pieces of the mission that he would need, "Go to the mountains near Riverwood, find the troll and kill it, got it." Andio mentally noted in his head.

As the Jarl finished giving him his instruction, Andio would finally speak up. "Excuse me Jarl, i do apologize for my earlier behavior and frustrations...just some past annoyances came to my mind this morning and stuck to my mind. So as for the task at hand, i will complete it without issue and will show that my reputation does proceed me. However, i do have a request, if i may ask for my reward?" Andio asked the Jarl in a now calmer tone.

Neven Alswin
Bleakwind Bluff

Neven arrived at Bleakwind Bluff, and saw two Forsworn. The Forsworn barely ever wore much in the way of armor, so they were both dispatched quickly with the new bow. However, a Briarheart appeared, which would complicate things slightly. Neven aimed for the exposed heart with a silver arrow, and fired. He stopped for a moment, and so fired at the next Forsworn coming after him. She looked severely injured, so Neven fired again at the now approaching Briarheart. He fired, killing the thing. Neven finished off the other Forsworn, rode his bear to the edge of the stairs, and getting off, he cautiously stalked up the stairs, his bow ready. He heard fighting, and quickened his pace. He made it just in time to see Sanguine battling a hagraven with conjured weapons and armor.

Sanguine took nothing lightly. Each strike was will aimed, and after a few more seconds, the hagraven was beheaded. "AH! Here you are. The portal was fine for a few hours until that witch-thing decided to try to enter. Ruined the dinner I had set for you. But, come come, I've hundreds of realms and all fit for my new Champion..."

"I would not worry too much about it if I were you. Even if this coup in the Dominion succeeds, the Aldmeri Dominion still stands in the way of a united Tamriel and a rebuilt Empire." The Emperor gave Elanea a nod. "No matter what the result, this coup will weaken the Dominion and as such it will be the perfect time to strike, from both land and the sea. You have no reason to worry about such matters for now."

Had the werewolves returned? The Breton almost panicked, before she saw what was approaching. Rather than three angry werewolves, a single Bosmer, a bow slung across his back. Several of the others from the group stood up or approached as well, but it was Esthael that replied to the man as he came closer. "Imperial business. More specifically, that of the Synod. Come no closer!" A smile plied across her lips as she thought about her cousin's thoughts on that. "We are investigating rumors of dark and ancient magics here, so stay away, for your own safety!"

-----------------------------------------------

Andio would nod in understanding to the Jarl's words and he would raise his left hand and clenchs it into a fist and speaks, "Do not worry Jarl...not only will i personally kill this beast, but i promise you the beast's head by before the dawn of tomorrow, and i will show that not only am i a capable warrior...but rather i am the best for it, and perhaps even suitable for the title of Thane of Whiterun," and with no other words, Andio would turn on his heel with a smirk of confidence and determination grew onto his face, as he walked through the doors of the palace and would immediately head for the stables of which housed his steed, a very strong and capable horse, capable of some of the most fierce conditions whether in battle or travel, he named the horse Irons Will, due to the steed's iron will.

After walking to the Whiterun stables, just outside of the city and approached the stable master and notified him of taking his horse back, saying that he will be gone for the day and won't be back until sometime that night, to which the stable head nodded and then Andio was off on his steed, Irons Will, who bore scars of previous battles and fights such as his master did. Andio was wearing his steel helmet now, with all other weapons sheathed, he gave a mighty lash of the reigns and shouted "HIYAAA!" and the mighty steed dashed past the stables and towards the mountains, outside of Riverwood. While making his way there, his smirk of determination and confidence stayed frozen onto his face as the snow did to the top of the mountains of which the beast lived.

3 hours later in the ride...
-------------------------------------------

Andio had been riding Irons Will for a couple hours now, stopping for nothing and nobody, passing wild animals to travelers....even ran into a determined lute player who chased Andio down for sometime, trying to play him songs, for Andio to luckily lose him in the forest...Andio sighed and chuckled in relief, knowing damn well how difficult those lute players can be. "Well Irons...it looks like we dodged another arrow there, hahaha! Well anyways...it looks like we're here..." Andio would mention to the obvious sight of them being on the trail leading up the mountain. Andio's experiences with trolls have given him a knowledge of just how far he'd have to go up on the mountain, due to they survive in certain climates and cannot go too far up, but for this troll, due to he is terrorizing Riverwood, he is most likely lower in the mountains, most likely in a cave.
Andio would give a light lash of Irons Will's reign and kick to the side and the sturdy steed would take a much easier and slower pace than what it was getting to the mountains. After about an hour or so of searching, they would reach the mouth of a small cave...not big enough to network throughout the mountain, but big enough to require a thorough look from the inside. So Andio would halt his steed right outside the entrance, to either get him a quick escape if needed or even to intercept the troll should they make a run for it. Andio would then pull out his steel sword with his left hand, while pulling out and lighting a torch in his right hand, and he would slowly make his way into the cave, slowly descending further into the darkness...step by step...only with his torch, being his light, but the torch itself was a weak flame, due to he did not want the snow to melt and flood or something...far fetched yes, but it does happen, and so he doesn't want to be found dead via melted ice picks falling onto him.
As Andio cautiously walked, he would soon find skeletal remains of people...obviously mauled and eaten by the looks of it, and along with their bones, Andio found broken weapons and armor, obviously from would-be hunters and warriors trying to make the same journey as he...or perhaps just a poor travel just at the wrong place at the wrong time...and then Andio would see something...truly...sickening...the skeletal remains of a child...after seeing this, Andio's eye twitched in anger as the grip on his blade tightened and he would let out a mighty battle cry, "AHHHHHHHHH!!!" This was obviously heard by the troll, as within moments, a large shadow from the depth of the cave moved a at a quick pace towards from the side, only for Andio to turn around to the beast and first swing his torch in the beast's face to daze him, immediately following a powerful slash of Andio's steel blade that gashed the troll's side, as he side stepped out of the way, the troll let out an angry, ear piercing roar, seeming more angry than hurt by the strike, and so it would rush Andio again, only to be dodged yet again, but this time running into the icy wall, letting out a grunt on impact, followed by Andio slashing the beast's lower back, again making in impact, but still the beast continues to rage on and rush yet AGAIN, only this time, he actually caught Andio, and pressed him against the wall, and let out a roar, only for Andio to still hold onto the torch, and rammed the hot tip under the troll's left arm, causing the beast to drop Andio and howl in pain, however at the cost of Andio's only source of light, Andio knew he couldn't face the beast in the dark...he'd die or the beast would escape into the darkness, so he did the only thing he could do for light; lead the beast closer to the entrance.
Andio would start running for the entrance, letting out fake panicked noises, knowing that trolls love to chase down scared prey, and the plan worked! The trolls chased Andio down towards the exit of the cave, however, Andio was just a bit ahead of the beast, and hid in a patch of darkness, as the beast ran past him, only for an axe with a line tied to it, to be thrown from the shadows and it would impale into the beast, as the beast let out a howl of pain and tried to run, only to not be able to run, due to Andio had tied the line to a rock, keeping the beast in place. Andio knew he did not have much time, and so he quickly pulled out his two daggers, both tipped with poisons(the iron dagger is coated with a paralyzing poison while the steel one is coated with a health damaging/decreasing poison) and Andio would then take a step and leap off of another rock on the ground, getting some distance and height, while falling towards the beast with both daggers in hands, letting out his war cry, "Ahhhhhh!!!" And within moments, Andio had pierced the back of the beast with both of his daggers, deep inside his back, the beast was flailing and roaring in agony and tried grabbing Andio and even ramming his back against the wall, only for Andio to remain on, and within a minute, the beast was weakened, and slowly dying and lost all movement ability due to the poisons taking effect, and once the troll fell, and slowly started losing breath, Andio pulled off his daggers and sheathed them again on his back, and saw a large battle axe on the ground, next to a dead warrior, and he would pick it up and get on the side of the beast and give a look of death upon the beast and said, "May the Gods judge you as i have judged you today...fowl beast! Ahhhhh!!!" Andio roared as he brought the large battle axe up and then right back down onto the next of the beast, and in one swift and mighty slash, cut the troll's head clean off, leaving the axe embedded in the ground. Andio placed the Troll's head into a bag and then retrieve his axe and line, and would then tie the sack to his horse's saddle as he mounted Irons Will and rode off to Whiterun.

3 hours on the ride back later...
-------------------------------------------------------

Andio returned back to Whiterun, placing Irons Will back into the stables, and making his way back into the city's walls, and while walking, he held in his hand a sack that was covered in dry blood now, many of the guards and citizens alike were cautious of this man as he walked triumphantly all the way to Dragonsreach and was soon within the palace's mead hall, and he would approach the Jarl upon his throne and would toss the blood soaked sack at the Jarl's feet, only for the troll's severed and bloody head to roll out and right to the Jarl's feet. "I believe you said something of an award, correct Jarl?" Andio said with a grin of confidence and triumph...the same he had frozen onto his face after leaving the palace that very morning on the quest given to him.

Ylgim nodded, "Good to know that I can rely on you." Ylgim said as he started to walk back to the manor. He stopped and motioned for Jon to come, "I've been thinking.... If we are to succeed, we need to not just fight in the open. We need to be able to fight in the shadows. As such, I am thinking of creating a group of agents, who specialize in fighting in the shadows. Spies, assassins, thieves, and such, and I want you to lead them. What do you say?"

"He'll understand, I think. He won't take it lightly, but he'll understand. I didn't want to risk him stopping me from going." Thalin sat as commanded, reviewing his previous decision as Valiaya did so too. Perhaps she might think it cowardly, perhaps it was, but there was no way his father would allow him to leave without a struggle. Surely Thalin had been right to simply gather his things and go.

The prospect of a journey overseas frightened him a little. Markarth was far from the sea and he had never been on any vessel other than the occasional ferry crossing more remote stretches of the Karth. His experience with boats was limited to horror stories of demons in the deep water and monsters of the ice swallowing whole ships, leaving no trace. Whilst his common sense prevailed in doubting these stories, Thalin nonetheless remained apprehensive.

"The Synod? You are a fair way from home." Malldrus' eyes flickered around the camp. Though his initial observation had been correct, it seemed that this camp was far less military than he'd imagined. Not built for luxury, perhaps, yet far from most regular soldiers' thoroughfare. The woman who approached him was an easy sight too, yet that was not of pressing concern - A simple observation, no less. He motioned for the larger of the two Nords to step forwards, the big brute of a man walking into the clearing. It was little use having him remaining in "hiding" anyway - He couldn't hide from a blind leper in Black Marsh. The smaller of the two was more suited for covering Malldrus' from afar.

"Me and Thaggar here work for a businessman, who takes multiple shipments in from Cyrodiil to Skyrim and vice-versa. They often cross through these woods, or at least they should - The last convoy, which you must understand was rather expensive, never surfaced in its destination. Do you believe that these... 'dark and ancient magics' could have had any relation to the disappearance of our convoy?"

With his foes safely below deck, songbird ordered a portion of his crew to stay behind and crew his prize. Meanwhile he walked into the captains cabin of the foreign vessel. It was a brightly lit room with a massive mahogany desk planted in the rear of the room. As songbird entered he spun around to find that the entire wall (facing towards the deck) was painted with a map of nirn and the trade routes of the east empire trading company marked upon it. He spun around again and proceeded to the desk. He placed his hand on the desk, feeling its smooth texture as he walked around the desk. He sat in the chair and his eyes spotted a novel. His curiosity peaked and he opened it. The more he read, the more he learned. The book was called the aetherium wars and there was now a chance at finding an artifact of immeasurable value. His pirate days can wait now. Suddenly a shout was heard from outside the cabin and blood splattered against the doorway with a body following close behind it. The enemy had escaped their cells and planned on mutinying.

Songbird sighed and stood up. He made his way towards the doorway and upon opening the doorway he was disappointed to find the 7 remaining enemies making headway across the deck. Songbird strolled across the deck battling enemy after enemy until all 7 were dispatched. He had their valuables taken off of them before having their bodies be taken below deck.

Their vessels arrived in skyrim within the city of solitude. With his crew dressed as the east empire company, songbird sold not only the story that pirates attacked them and killed most of the crew but also sold the cargo. His men received a handsome profit and bonus for delivery. The sailors they killed got a burial by the company and with the ship in company hands his men quit being "employees" of the company, claiming it to be "too dangerous" as their excuse. Songbirds ship docked soon after the company restocked the vessel with supplies and crew for the next trip. Without a bounty on his head he docked smoothly and left the vessel for their mission to begin.

"Hmm." Esthael shrugged as the mer continued his story. "I don't think so. Well, unless said convoy travelled through this ruins, which would certainly be very interesting..." The Breton put on her 'thinking face', acting as if she was thinking about the possibility of that happening, and what that'd mean. "Fascinating. Anyway, I don't think there's anything else?"

Valiaya Gaethore
Northwatch Keep
Skyrim, The Empire

"I see." Valiaya stood up. Once a coward, always a coward, she knew. "I'll go see about hearing some of the news, just wait here." She patted the Bosmer on his shoulder, before leaving him alone as she went to talk with some of the Fort's guards to catch up on the situation back in the Dominion. When she returned, the Altmer appeared to be visibly shocked by what she'd just heard. "Right," she told Thalin as she sat down again, trying to regain her composure, "the Dominion might've just become that much more of a dangerous place to be. Good news is, though, that we'll be able to leave for Valenwood today."

"I did." The Jarl motioned with his hand, and the Steward approached Andio, a large pouch, almost a sack, of gold in his hands. "There is your reward. 750 gold, for your services to the Hold."

Dragonsreach
-------------------------------------

Andio would take the sack of gold and weigh it in his hand a bit, confirming it to be a hefty amount of gold and would nod in approval, to toss the sack back to the Jarl's steward and would speak, "Jarl...i do appreciate the hefty reward, i truly do, and it is far greater than the amounts of previous work i have done and for this, i thank you, however...i am not in Skyrim for the gold...a little odd, i understand...however, i am in no need of the gold, but rather i do these works for two reasons; to benefit those who struggle and give them easier lives, and to help create my own legacy. I come from a wealthy family in Cyrodiil, so i do not require the septims as reward, rather only that word of my deeds goes around and recognized for my work is all i need for a reward...most of the time...however...i would like to ask of a couple things, one being a...different form of payment and the other being a personal request."
Andio would place take off his helmet and place it down, while get kneels down onto one knee and bows his head in respect, "Jarl of Whiterun, i Andio Halluf, son of Jimmulk and Charlottia Halluf, slayer of Giants and Trolls, Blood Warrior and a Warrior to the people, with my most sincere respect and honor...would like to become an official Thane of Whiterun. I do understand that this title and position is only for those who have proven themselves as a warrior and a subject, and with the past several weeks of my presence, i have slayed vermin that disease this land, rabid dogs that kill your livestock and even the troll that has slaughters many of your subjects from men...to even children...and so i ask of you, as a warrior and a man...please, accept my request and grant me the honor of becoming one of your Thanes!" Andio would say proudly and loudly, showing his want of this honor to prove himself, hoping that his request will be granted.
Andio kept his head bowed in respect and kneeled on one leg with his helmet coddled in his right arm, awaiting for the Jarl's response...hoping to be granted this honor and privilege.

Neven Alswin
Bleakwind Bluff

"So, what've you got planned?" asked Neven.

"Since you seem like a special one, I'll have something extra special set up for you. I just hope you won't be like that dragon bastard from one hundred years ago. He got my Rose and used it for his own purposes. I had half a mind many a time to mangle him so bad he turned into a new species, but then I get drunk and forget. Anyway, come in," said Sanguine.

"I have to bring my bear up and secure him. Don't want anything happening to him," said Neven.

"I'll deploy a few daedra to guard the place. Don't want anymore nasty surprises. Just nice ones."

Neven got his bear, bringing it back up. He then went with Sanguine into the portal. When he went to the other world, he found himself in front of two large stone seats overlooking an arena with some other spectators. They were cheering, and an announcer was counting down the minutes until the tournament began. "Sit, sit. Here, I'll call for some food," said Sanguine.

They both sat down in their chairs, a little space in between the two stone chairs. Soon, a few scantily dressed woman came, one carrying a table, which she sat between the two chairs. The others sat mead, sweetrolls, and a few other sweets and meats on the small table. They withdrew, and the tournament began. The first two fighters was a Nord woman dressed in full Nord gear and a Redguard woman dressed in full Redguard gear. Whilst they fought, Neven cheered, with a mouth full of sweetroll.

Wolfskull Cave

The altar was set, Yamir had finally made a nice phylactery from finding the Lunar Forge and reforged his mother's Forsworn necklace and made sure it was tougher than normal since Yamir was going to dump his soul in it. Ahilzir kept Marcuiro and 50 of his followers after the battle until Yamir had asked for Ahlizir to bring out the Atlmer necromancer who gave them all the trouble in the first place. He was coming to the ritual site where Potema was there talking to Yamir,"So its time?" She asked Yamir as he was placing all the black soul gems near the altar that had the center of two ebony skeleton hands holding the necklace.

" Yes, with the only rival now in my hands. All that's left is to see if I'm strong enough to become a Lich." He started to get the heart out of the High Priest of Arkay out of a box he placed it in as it was glowing and still beating even after he ripped it out of the Nord to spit in the face of Arkay. " Well, I was thinking of taking our alliance to the next level. Had a mind to start making a sort of Confederation so that we could be able to pull our forces together like we've been doing. It would work since there is word of a new civil war happening in Skyrim could be a way of gaining support from the vampires, necromancers, and whatever is around these desolate plains."

Ahlizir interrupted with Marcurio in toe," Yamir, I brought the Atlmer, don't know what you want to do with him but I hope that we can put this rivalry to rest." The Redguard threw him in front of both Yamir and Potema as he looked up to their faces." Laugh at me now Redguard! You are a disgrace to the very school of magic and the God of Worms!" Potema laughed at him and even though Yamir tried to stop her, he knew that was a stupid idea.

" Tell me Atlmer, why do you think you lost?" Yamir asked a single question that made Potema stop laughing and Marcurio responded with a " what do you mean by that?" Yamir grabbed him by his Necromancer Robe," like I said, why did you think you lost? You had me outmatched with the Necromancer's Amulet, had an equal amount of undead and mages, yet you are still in chains and your long life is in my hands." Marcurio now give a thought for a second before he motioned his head to Ahlizir, " your servant knocked by out from the behind while we were battling."

Ahlizir gave a scoff at the idea," he is no servant, but a friend, a teacher, a brother. You lost because you forgot the number one thing about being a leader." Yamir put down the Atlmer and started to look for a cutting instrument. " What number one thing?" He asked," I don't to know a rule from some Redguard that has captured me just to mock me." He found a knife and the Atlmer had his face change to that of anger, to one that was ready for death itself.

" That number one rule is..." He cut his ropes," trust." Marcurio was surprises as he let him go but he continued," let me tell you something, I don't have the means to execute powerful Necromancers like yourself. This land has too many hedge mages that call themselves Necromancers or think that they themselves are the prophet by Mannimarco himself to bring the Worm Cult back into power. Whatever you cause maybe, I assure you that a level head and allies will serve you better then trying to claim power by yourself."

Marcurio was puzzled but allowed Yamir to keep talking," You see, the order that me and my friend that knocked you out were once part of the Worm Cult but focused on battle tactics till the Vigliants of Stendarr killed our leader and broke us apart. I helped to push them out of Hammerfell but they are stronger here in Skyrim, but with the Book of Unlife, one can now think what would happen once a necromancer obtain the power equal to that of Mannimarco's first Lich servants. Add with the alliance with the Wolf Queen, unless one were to destroy that."

" Just what do you want of me then if your so powerful?" Marcurio said with both anger and mocking sentiments to the comments of Yamir as he begins the ritual." A second chance at vengeance. A chance to take power from me if you want it." Marcurio saw what he was getting at, he was looking to recruit him and his cult. He knew that the Redguard was good with magic and he had Potema on his side, who was probably the strongest of them all despite she not being in full strength.

" Why should I join you? Your order left the Cult when it was destroyed. You couldn't even keep the artifacts from the Vilgilants. To me, your no better but your a Redguard who is trying to get power, nothing more then a pretender with military training." Yamir smiled," then let me tell what you can do to take my power." He started to put the heart in a firestand and lit it with his magic as the purple fire spread throughout the ritual circle and the death magic started to loop around the center of the room.

" If you want to kill me, then its simple. Interrupt the spell and kill me. You will be free to go but Potema will potentially find you and will kill you. However, if you allow me to become a Lich, then you and what's left of your cult will be allowed to join my growing Confederation and will be allowed to build your cult and be able to become something worth Mannimarco." The Atlmer wandered what his Confederation was but he knew that this would probably be the best chance to bring back the Cult despite Yamir not really caring for that much.

Marcuiro didn't do anything while Yamir was starting the concentration and the magic was coming off of him while he cast a powerful conjuration spell to rip his soul from his body. The pain itself was intense as he was struggling to keep the concentration as his soul was ripped from his body and he drank two potions that each were attuned with heavy poisons that instantly killed him, but the magic brought him back alive just to inflict pain on him for the spell to work.

The pain was causing him to bleed from his eyes and mouth, making him bend in unnatural ways. It was all to keep him like that as his soul started to move to the altar and the black soul gems started to break into pieces and formed around the necklace, fusing itself with it to become enchanted and sacrifice the souls that were captured within to the Carin. When his soul was about to come close to the phylactery, his body started to become enflamed as the skin and clothes started to peel off as the soul became absorbed by the necklace and the body stopped moving after a day as it became nothing of skin and bones.

Next Day

Marcurio was around and his people had joined the unnamed Confederation and he started to wander just what happened to Yamir. Suddenly bones started to ramble as something was moving. Some bones that were glowing started to walk and used magic to move the Shroud of the Old Archmage around him and form a robe that was glowing with runic symbols. He then cast an illusion spell and the old Yamir is back. Ahlizir crossed his arms and Marcurio was surprised it worked so fast.

" Sorry I was gone in the phylactery and trying to exert my mind to connect with both my mind with both my necklace and my body to make sure this Lich thing is possible. Now, let's get to work on this Confederation. I know everyone wants to ask questions so lets get them out of the way."

His Majesty, Aicandaar Garegwyn Aldmeri
Sovereign of Alinor, High King of the Fourth Aldmeri Dominion
Palais de la Aldmeri, Royal Courtyards

People were in the courtyards chanting old altmer songs with the pine-trees above their head dancing to the songs of the Yokudan Sea. There was also the statue of Ayrenn, pointing east to the direction of Valenwood and Elsweyr; the member-states of the Fourth Aldmeri Dominion. Then the old King arose, at four hundred years old he is one of the oldest living person alive. Witnessing the fall of the Septims and the rise of the Cardes dynasty, he knows a lot about history and wisdom. He arose from his throne, a throne of ages. The building was made of marble colored with white and gold. Matte golden statues line up symmetrically. It was the spoils and riches of Alinor.

Three miles away was the besieged Thalmor headquarters full of dead bodies or cadavers of fallen Thalmor agents. Cleaning operations have begun the moment the Thalmor leadership was captured. Within hours, four hundred cleaners and workers swiped clean the streets and removed the smoke from the city. Still, the crowd came to support their royalty.

He began to speak. ''People of Alinor, this city has been my family's home for two thousand years and we were separated for four hundred years. But, we are back!'' the crowd screamed in applause. ''for years we have planned this day. It seems that it isn't us who wants to bring you and Alinor back to us but rather Alinor is the one who wants to bring us back to you!''

''We will rebuild this city! We will make a great temple, a great wall and a great seaport!'' he announced revealing a plan for an enormous Temple and the construction of an advanced seaport and a multi-tiered wall.

''Thank you. I love you, I love Alinor, I love Valenwood, I love Elsweyr and I love the Dominion!''

the crowd, an estimated 20,000 replied loudly; ''Dominion for Life! Dominion forever!''

Central Administration
Palais de la Aldmeri, Peacekeeper District Headquarters, Two hours later

''Sir, Thalmor agents and spies in Skyrim, High Rock, Orsinum, Hammerfell, Cyrodiil, Argonia, Morrowind and Solstheim must be recalled. We will not threaten them, but invite them to our cause once they reach Alinor.'' says Kinlord Faliisan Tandreyon. ''Shouldn't they notice a change in the city? I mean, they would notice the banners, our peacekeepers and no Thalmor agent!'' Canonreeve Syndancus replied. 'Faliisan laughed and said; ''That IS the plan. They would notice subtle changes. I suggest we replace all Thalmor in the diplomatic offices and replace them with our Peacekeepers in the Diplomatic Corps. '' the small counsel nodded.

Later, two officers approached the communications director of the Thalmor who is now also the communications director of the Central Administration and the fourth dominion.

''Undalacano, we have a message for you to send.'' the two decorated officers spoke. The old reformist nodded and asked; ''Where?'' then, one of the officers replied; To all Thalmor across Tamriel.

Central Administration
Palais de la Aldmeri, Alinor
Office of the Director of Communications

To: All Thalmor Agents stationed in the Provinces of Cyrodiil, High Rock, Orsinum, Skyrim, Argonia, Morrowind and Hammerfell

From the Communications Director of the Thalmor and the Dominion.

Upon the directive of our leader and his counsel you are to abandon your posts and head home for Alinor. Do not enter Valenwood or Elsweyr as martial law have been declared there. Peacekeepers will assume your diplomatic positions and titles. These Peacekeepers are part of the Dominion they are dispatched when the Council needs it. We expect no questions, we expect you to follow orders. Anyone who will refuse to cooperate will be declared AWOL and would be charged with desertion. The Peacekeepers will arrive once you leave.

Note: If you hear any rumors of a successful coup, it is IMPERATIVE for you to disregard it. Such rumors are a fallacy and anyone who is caught spreading or confirming it is a traitor to Merkind.

Note II: Stop all spying operations against the Empire at once. If any orders were given by the Thalmor overlords to you, disregard them and head to Alinor.

Note III: We would like to remind you that the borders of Valenwood and Elsweyr are closed to the outside. We will send a ship and ship you and your men directly to Alinor.

Please cooperate,
Sir Undalacano
Communications Director of the Thalmor and the Dominion

"You want to become a Thane in my court? You do not even live here. I cannot grant such an honor to one that is not even a resident of my city, nor even my hold! I am sorry to disappoint you in this, but I simply cannot."

Esthael Cardes
Falkreath Hold
Skyrim, The Empire

This may be where you're wrong? Esthael raised an eyebrow as the strangers walked away, somewhat confused by the encounter. Did things like this often happen in Skyrim? Why did they? She shrugged, before slowly walking back towards the entrance to the ruins. "Right, where were we?" Walking closer to the door obstructing her way inside, she nodded. "Ah, that's right." Carefully, she pushed it open, trying to make as less sound as possible, hoping not to alert anything that could be lurking inside, waiting for someone to enter...

Torch held in front of her, sword in her right hand, Esthael carefully entered the ruins, bathing the hallway she had just stepped into in light, revealing there to be nothing waiting for her. "Well, that's a good thing, I guess." she said, relieved. "Time to see what we can find inside."

Valiaya Gaethore
Northwatch Keep
Skyrim, The Empire

"A coup in the Dominion, by all accounts. You haven't heard anyone talk about it yet? The rumors I heard have just been confirmed. What's more, there's also this." Valiaya held up a piece of paper, before showing it to Thalin. "This orders all Thalmor to leave their positions, to be replaced by the Peacekeepers. What's more, none of the Thalmor are to return to Valenwood or Elsweyr, rather, they are all to go to Alinor. Those that don't will be seen as deserters. Now, guess what?" The Altmer gave a humorless laugh. "It then proceeds to say that all rumors of a coup are false, while also ordering any gathering of intelligence on the Empire is to stop immediately. Sounds rather suspicious, no? These peacekeepers serve one certain Altmer descended from one of the rulers of the Second Dominion, and his men will replace everyone abroad. All of the Thalmor are to go to one place." She put the paper down. "It's a deathtrap, I'm certain. The man took over the Dominion and now wants to kill all of the Thalmor." Valiaya stood up again. "Good thing is, I'm officially a part of the Dominion's Army, not the Thalmor. What's even better is that there's absolutely no recordings of me having left the Dominion recently. We'll take the ship as soon as it arrives. I'll make sure we're going to Valenwood, not Alinor - the ship is only there for supplies anyway, and I doubt it's captain would have been given orders like these. If he has, that's his problem, not mine. We're going to Valenwood, and nowhere else."

Andio would keep his head bowed for a moment after the response of the Jarl, and he would then raise it and speak, "Jarl...i do understand your point and i respect it in full...i can understand a foreigner such as myself cannot earn such a title by means of a few errands...as for not being a citizen of this land, i currently am not...however, with all do respect, i wish to point out that a few years ago, you did in fact make the Dragonborn, who was not a citizen, a Thane of your court and allowed him to buy residency. Granted he was much worthy of it then I, being the slayer of dragons and Alduin and the Hero of Skyrim...this i may not be able to best...however, i can still try. In the end, this is truly all a man can do, try his best effort for the best result. All i ask for Jarl is that opportunity to prove myself worthy of being a Thane of your court like the legendary Dragonborn. I speak to you not as a poor beggar or as a entitled imbecile, but rather something you yourself are my Jarl, a man and a warrior. I care not what the trial or trials maybe," Andio then stands with a and speaks with a more determined tone, "i care not the distances i must travel or what creatures or beings i must slay to prove my worth of that title of Thane, but grant me this! Please, for my payment of killing the troll, i ask not for gold and not just the title, but rather at least the opportunity to prove myself of it!"
Andio was now just feet away from the Jarl, fist at chest level and clenched in a fit of determination and pride all getting to him. He then eased up and stood at proper attention in front of the Jarl, still holding his helmet in his right arm, and he would speak once more. "If you do accept my request...then please inform me of what task i must complete, where i must go and what i must do and i promise and give you my word as a warrior, nobleman and man that it shall be done...however, i shall not resent you nor resist if you deny me this request, if you do, i will fully understand and will respectfully be on my way, my Jarl. So my Jarl...will you grant me this...the Warrior's Opportunity?"

Songbird stared at the massive bronze doors leading towards the Dwarven ruin. His men stood behind him. Only the loyal and devout stood now, weeded by days of march through the pines, now half his original men stood with him. He ushered them to proceed forward.

The doors opened, producing a creak that could've awoken lorkhan. By the feel of things it had. The earth shook as though molag ball had took the planet as his own personal baby rattle. His men pushed forward grouch the falling boulders of dwemer metal. Faces rained down like chimney sweeps in Marty poppins. Fortunately the walls were falling down as often as a sale appeared with a court Mage, which was never. They came upon a felled dwemer sphere guardian. Cut down by a collapsed beam. "Salvage what you can, then we proceed." Songbird ordered while kneeling to pick up the filled grand soul gem that had powered the automatons. When it's body was salvaged they continued.

A disembodied voice came out of nowhere. It told him that they should turn back. But that was not an option. Not if they were to collect the treasure. They continued forward. A ghost appeared out of the air. She was as blue as azuras star. They listened to her enteral long rant and accepted her aid in the quest. Her being a ghost meant not needing to worry of competition.

They proceeded to travel down the pipe one at a time. Songbird took everything off katrias corpse accept her armour. She was to be left with her dignity intact.

A pair of dwarven spiders came out of the metal pipe that faced them. Songbird took out his sword and shut them down with 4 swings each. They proceeded down the tunnel and followed the pipe up to the next level.
