The universe, home to everything in existence.... or is it? What if there was multiple realities, some just a little different from ours, some drastically different. What if all of those events and people if fiction where real, but inhabited a different dimension? Well, for this RP, the answer to that is they do.

Ever since the first universe, the first reality, there was a race called the Dimension Shifters. A race that are capable of travelling between dimensions, they have been mistaking for gods in every universe. The thing about Dimension Shifters, they are cruel beings, they enjoy watching death and destruction. As such, they created a Dimension to be used in gladitorial combat, an The Arena.

Now, they love taking things from different dimensions, and forcing them to fight. This has been going on since the dawn of creation. But, they never take anything to powerful, to give a fair chance to all of their combatants. They fight for the entertainment of the Dimension Shifters, but they can escape. The Dimension Shifters give their combatants two ways of returning to their home, be the last one standing, or escape.

Winning in the Arena is made almost impossible, due to the fact that the Dimension Shifters are constantly bringing in new combatants, and new monsters. So, the only logically way is to escape, but that is just as hard as trying to be the last one. In fact, many combatants have given up, and have settled down, forming a new civilization within the Arena, the Arenaborn.

You are one of the new combatants to be brought into the Arena or an Arenaborn. You have woken up in the Arena, in only your underwear.... joking, you woke up wearing your everyday clothes (no armor though) and a single knife. To make things more interesting, you have been giving access to one power. Can you be the last one standing, or will you run and escape? Fight or Flight.
