Shesh, just because people want freedom.... by the way, Ylgim does not believe Skyrim belongs to the Nords, he believes all can live there, he just wants her to be free though.

yeah I'm looking at it from both angles but we can't afford to lose Skyrim. After the big War with the Dominion it'd be easier to grant you semi-indepence as a Dominion of the Empire

We've still, at the very least, got the diplomatic meeting to do. If it starts afterwards, it'll still be quite a while until the War'd be resolved.

Yeah I know, but Ylgim won't stop till Skyrim is free. He might stop temporarily, but he won't stop completely till his goal is obtain. And to Ylgim, Skyrim can't afford to send her children to fight the Dominion.

I am not planning to start it soon, it'll take a while before Ylgim will be able to enact his plans. Basically if the Rebellion happens before the war, he's just going to pursue self government for Skyrim, then after the war, he will pursue full independence.

Even though my character was born in the Imperial City, he's lived in Skyrim for years and has some pretty powerful connections... if I feel like helping it could greatly help your cause

It depends. I mean, he's served the Empire for years... he was born in the Empire, but the only people other than his brothers in the Legion are Nords. He loves Skyrim

Yes but personally I'm conflicted. He's a worshipper of Talos and rebels would have the morale high ground, but it'd take a lot to betray his empire.
