Weaknesses: Esmail can best be described as a generalist in his skills keeping them balanced thus when faced with opponents it's easy for them to over power him skill wise in combat. Esmail's construct arm is also extremely bulky and thus he can not swing or thrust with the speed of others and does not have the same degree of articulation and control of this arm making combat somewhat more difficult.
Bio: Esmail was born into the lower classes of Redguard society in Satakalaam. His mother was a tavern maid and his father was a merchent and as a child would go and help both his mother and father with their respective jobs with it mostly being with his father as he needed it the most. He grew up helping his father sell his wears in the city center on a daily bases and he did so until he reached his late teens.
As a young adult Esmail joined up with the armies of Hammerfell becoming a scout for the military. While not the most nimble he was fast and exceptionally athletic allowing him to compensate for this and took to the Alik'rqith many others to help stomp out bandit camps, necromancer colonies, and skooma smugglers. He loved the life by the horse living in the desert for months on end and surviving on his own using an acquired knowledge of the land. One day during a routine clearing of a Khajiit camp known to be dealing in Skooma turned tragic as a large group of Khajiit smugglers Attack and surrounded the Redguard military group killing a large portion of the ground and lead to Esmail loosing his left arm in the event.
After this event Esmail wrapped his arm up and made his way to Rihad the closest city to the site of the ambush where he was taken in my a garrison of Hammerfell soldiers and healed over the course of months. Once his healing process was finished after about a year and was then discharged from the military given his circumstances and thus had to fall back on the only other skill he had which was that of a trader.
Over the next ten years he traveled through Hammerfell and occasionally into the Gold Coast and Calovian Highland regions of Cyrodiil where he traded his goods as made a friend in Lucian Fabius an Imperial traveler whom Esmail had taken along in his travels after meeting him in Chorrol. Lucian a former physician, craftsmen, and artifact hunter proved a nice addition to his group able to heal most any injuries that arise and able to identify real and fake Anceint artifacts with a noticeable preference for Dwemer artifacts.
As the pair traveled through Hammerfell they came upon Volenfell the only known Dwemer settlement in Hammerfell and at the behest of Lucian whom had been with Esmail for almost seven years at this point convinced a somewhat skeptical Esmail into the belly of the ruins where they spent the better part of three days in there. During their time the group found both destroyed Dwemer Constructs and the bones of dead explorers. One of the groups main quests throughout their time together was to restor Esmails arm to at least something that could be of use and in their searching they came upon a long gone Dwemer Sphere and in a moment of insight Lucian took the arm of the Dwemer and using his knowledge of both the human body and Dwemer mechanics he attached the Sphere's to Esmails nub where his arm used to be (located at the shoulder) but it was limp and unable to move Lucian started to exam the Constructs soul gem which was empty at the time. Using what little Magic he knew Lucian tried to work with the soul gem knowing that if he were to put it in Esmails new arm he'd be able to control it to a fair degree. But in his examination the soul gem expunged a dark purple light blinding Esmail for a moment although when he came to his feet Lucian was no longer there. Instead the soul gem looked as if it finally had a soul in it and with little need to implore on the matter he knew that Lucians soul had been absorbed into the gem. Distraught he grabbed the gem and left the ruins traveling back to Rihad where he had made his home.
Upon returning back the rumors of another Dominion invasion started to creep around the province with varying degrees of worry and he heard from some of his customers that mages in the east could extract souls from soul gems. After a year he finally put the Soul Gem in his arm and took his belonging and his most trusty of steeds and left on a boat for Anvil where he would start his search for the Mages of the East to retrieve his friend.
