Anyway, think you lot can stay without me for like an hour? :P

Yeah, never liked that guy Ulfirc...I feel like if the DOminion is to win some major risks are going to be need to be made, I got plans...but unfortunately they are all longshots... :(

I can manage...kinda just waiting for the war to start being that my character is a military general with no political power :P So until then i will make scenes of him being a great father figure waiting for him to turn into the cruelly efficient military commander he is.

I didn't like Ulfric as a character... but his goals where acceptable.

I didn't like him from the point of view that most of my characters are pro-empire. I liked the idea of the guy who wants to bring back the glory and freedom of his homeland...just sadly given circumstance no matter what he does to achieve those goals will ultimately be bad for both Skyrim and The Empire.

Ulfric was an arse, any way. Sounding like Arnold Schwarzenegger doesn't overshadow the fact that he's played right into the Thalmor's hands, ahem:

Again, I didn't like the character. I also like you, didn't agree with the method for the time.

I've never much liked Ulfric, probably has a lot to do with redact my first few serious play throughs were ether as an Argonian or Dunmer. Also I'm not up ethnic nationalism splashed in religious fundamentalism so my obvious choice in the game was the Empire.

A deal the Bosmer made with Y'ffre to allow them to live in Valenwood (and the reason the Bosmer became the Bosmer).

It's basic conditions:

1. Only meat based products can be eaten
2. The use of plant matter in building is prohibited
3. Forbidden to harm plant life for ones personal gain or betterment
4. Forbidden to smoke anything of plant nature

Then there is the Meat Mandate which states that a fallen enemy must be eaten (completely) within three days of the kill.

Hulgard Ursine
Image

Race: Nord
Gender/Sex: Male
Class: Nightblade
Equipment: Vampire Armor, Shrouded Cowl, Lunar Steel Sword, Common Soul Gem, The Bond of Matrimony
Skills: Hulgard has proficiency in many things. He has decades worth of knowledge, especially in the arcane arts. Vampiric Drain is his preferred spell, though Frost Cloak happens to be a secondary favorite. He can use Raise Zombie, yet doesn't have any affinity to do so. Being a vampire, Hulgard is a master of stealth, and clings to the shadows whenever possible.
Weaknesses: Fire and sunlight are Hulgard's worst nuisances. While he can tolerate the sun with his cowl, he carries and outright phobia of fire, and with good reason. Hulgard also shows signs of fear towards everything silver, and his appearance often gives away his undead status. His body and mind grow weaker without feeding nightly.
Bio: The story of Hulgard Ursine is one best forgotten by the people of Windhelm. Though, for the elders of the city who still remember the man, they are sure to speak well of him. Hulgard was much more humble than others who wore the Ursine name in Eastmarch. His father was a soldier in the Stormcloak army, a fact which every Ursine proudly declared whenever they could, and his mother was a healer for those living in the Gray Quarter. Hulgard was very sociable as a child, and liked to perform magic tricks for the other children in Windhelm. He loved his parents dearly, despite their views on magic and The Empire. Others in the city had mixed opinions of the boy. Some thought of him as the weak, but harmless, Ursine boy who caused no trouble. At worst, Hulgard was accused of being an Imperial sympathizer. Only his father's status as a Stormcloak warrior saved the boy from harassment.

But that all changed when Remaunus Cardes launched the invasion of Skyrim. Hulgard's father was killed in the fighting. He was then cared for by a mother whom never stopped grieving. Years passed, and he found himself increasingly bitter over the humiliation brought to his family. The Ursine clan, once held with the utmost respect, had its glory spat on by an increasingly overbearing Empire. Little was said when Hulgard's mother died of old age. Things didn't improve much until he found a job at The White Phial upon becoming an adult. Through hard work and dedication, he later ended up owning the shop, all the while making a hefty profit from potion sales. Hulgard greatly enjoyed his work as an alchemist. Many of his customers always attested to his friendly behavior. One day, however, he was greeted with a gorgeous Nord woman seeking employment at his establishment. The two fell in love shortly thereafter, and much of Windhelm was in attendance for their marriage.

Despite the prolonged ban on Talos worship, Hulgard and his fiancé were married inside the Temple of Talos. Years passed, and the couple happily restored the Ursine's reputation by serving as expert alchemists. It was a welcome surprise when the news came that Hulgard's wife was pregnant. As a parent, he showed just as much compassion for his family just as his father did before. Their child grew up with a natural talent for smithing, and although Hulgard had no experience in such a labor, he supported his son as much as one could. For a time, events became blissfully quiet. Hulgard continued to love his family and his city. Sleeping soundly one night, the man awoke in the middle of the night to a starling crash. All the candles in the house had mysteriously been put out. Checking downstairs for the safety of their son, Hulgard and his wife were met with a grisly view.

A vampire had found its way into their home, feeding on the young boy. The two tried their best to fight off the creature, but it was far too powerful. They were both too old and too ill-equipped to defeat the monster. Hulgard was forced to watch as the throat of his lover was torn out. Paralyzed by shock and fear, the vampire nearly drained him of his life force with Vampiric Drain. The noise of his son's screaming was loud enough to alert the patrolling guards, who swiftly killed the monster with a blade to the heart. Much like his mother, Hulgard was never able to end his inner sorrow. The man's strength withered away as he slowly turned into one of the undead. Awakening with this new bloodlust, Hulgard had realized what he had become. The man had little choice but to leave Windhelm forever, and instead find sanctuary in the abandoned Castle Volkihar.
RP Sample: Already provided.

Personality: Hulgard is humble, soft-spoken, and generally polite. He tries to avoid contact with mortals, only travelling beyond castle walls in search of blood to satisfy his thirst. Even though his father was loyal to the Stormcloaks, Hulgard tends to dislike politics, and instead prefers to study magic and history from a more neutral standpoint.
Likes: Alchemy, Molag Bal, Magic, Books, Music, Necromancy, Wine
Dislikes: The Sun, Fire, Stakes, Garlic, Aedra, Crossbows, Silver
Theme song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=izas7UMuFAQ
Voice: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R0KIq0ywDDY

Age: 115
Other: Is indeed Vorid's grandfather.

Hey Sutalia, how did the Ursine line continue if the son was fed on by the vampire, wouldn't that have turned him onto one as well?

Not in Skyrim. Contracting vampirism requires being hit with the Vampiric Drain spell, at least for normal vampires, and then letting the disease worsen for several days.

Can't decide whether I want to doodle some Adventure Time style renditions of our characters, or actually detailed realistic drawings. I could crank out the doodles faster and maybe make some little comics, depending on whether I really get into it.
