Camelone wrote:Name: Imad Tawfeek
Gender: Male
Sex: Male
Age: (14-18 for students, 19-24 for staff) Physically 17 but was born in the 13th century Abbasid Caliphate
Position: (Student/Staff) Student
Ability (Be specific and explain it fully please): He has a photographic memory being able to remember everything about something, even how it works, by merely a quick glimpse or a thorough investigation. While that is his most notable power the one that sets him apart is that he can control the flow of time, usually only for a couple seconds before he becomes to tired to keep going but he was knocked out while using his power by Mongols when he tried fleeing them because of this he was sent hurtling through time until he landed in the modern age.
Appearance (Pics Please):(Image)
Personality: A friendly if a little confused young man, he is usually confused and weirded out by modern society suffering from a massive amount of culture shock. Quiet and respectful is what he is usually though he is very outspoken about what he believes and is in love of history as he is trying to learn everything he can to hopefully return one day to the 15th century. Intrigued by science and engineering he is always learning and studying, though all of this learning is so that he is prepared to lead a nation when he hopefully returns to the 15th century. While his friendliness and good nature is truly real he will sometimes manipulate people so as to accomplish his goals even if he really doesn't as he feels more loyalty towards his culture and people than towards his friends.
Bio: Born in the 13th century to a clockmaker and his wife, a talented weaver, in the 13th century Abbasid Caliphate. Imad exhibited a knack for building and learning from a early age and even was on the path of becoming a Hafiz but his good life shattered when the Mongol Invasion began and he and his parents had to flee. It was at this time that Imad realized that he could manipulate time slightly and began practicing but always found himself getting very tired. At the age of 16 the Mongols caught up with them and while Imad tried using his powers he was knocked out and somehow sent spiraling towards the modern century. Upon awakening he was terrified and spent many days trying to go back before he ventured out into the world finding his memory a very good tool as he was able to remember languages rapidly and tried his best to blend into society but was sadly way to different to fully blend in and always raised the attention of the local authorities so he was always running to find a safe place to go.

Seems a bit OP to me. Oh well, it's Shy's decision in the end.
Maybe that happens so often that they just pay it no mind anymore?
Wait. PLOT TWIST. What if we're all just clinically insane grownups living in a fake world where they think they are teens with superpowers? Dr. Edwin would be the warden, and his daughter used to talk to inmates (on the other side of a glass wall), but stopped when she was transferred to a boarding school, and the patients assumed she was dead? And graduation is just them returning to sanity?
Whoa. My mind really wanders sometimes.

No, no, it's not suspicious at all. It's just been, um, 'requisitioned' by the custodian for, uh, 'cleaning' purposes.

Lycanth wrote:Name: Alice Henderson
Gender: Female
Sex: Female (So many males I figured I throw a bone to the female characters.)
Age: 15
Position: Student
Ability: Volukinesis - Insect manipulation. Essentially, she can talk to and control insects of any type. The downfall: She can't control how many appear, the type that do, not every single insect in a large group will listen to her, and some tend to attack allies every so often.
Appearance:(Image)
Personality: A complete book worm, sketch artist, and science enthusiast, Alice usually keeps to herself and has her face planted into a book, no matter the genre. She doesn't have many friends, excluding a couple insects that follow her everywhere (more info in bio), and is pretty shy around people. She's pretty quite at first, but if one can befriend her, regardless of the creepy crawlies, she can be rather goofy and loud. She absolutely loves anything that has to do with science, may it be astronomy, quantum physics, or any other science. She always is looking to learn something new about the world and universe she lives in.
Bio: Alice grew up in a small farm-town with her grandmother who was a local lavender farmer. Alice's parents both died when she was young, her mother by child birth and her father by drug overdose when she was 5. Her powers started to develop when she was 7 years old at the town schoolhouse. The teacher and other kids saw her as a disgusting freak when they saw her playing with hundreds of insects at recess and even during her classes. The schoolhouse was always infested with them, no matter how many exterminators they called in to the place. After a year of verbal abuse from the teachers and bullying by the kids, her grandmother started to home school her. There, Alice found her passion for science and art and found an acceptance of her powers by her grandmother's undying love and support. Shortly after she turned 14, however, her grandmother had her packed up and sent to Edwin's Home for the Extraordinarily Gifted in fear that the Feds would come for her. Back in a more public place, Alice has kept to herself and only shown her professors her power, fearful that the other students, now matter how bizarre some of their powers were, would bully and shun her in disgust. She currently has her own room in the girls' dorm, by her and her grandmother's insistence, and only speaks to three insects that she keeps around her: a black widow spider named Evelyn that stays in her room, a grasshopper she keeps in her art bag names Jackson, and an atlas moth named Angel that follows her discreetly around campus, staying outside and only coming to her when prompted.

Using this product may result in overinflated ego, lack of responsibility, and a habit of redirecting blame. Ask your doctor if

I say plan the action out a bit in the OOC or through telegrams before hand. Everyone is locked in their interactions and skip over other posts sometimes :/
