Ten odd years ago, Edwin R.G. Uther discovered that humanity was still evolving when his daughter developed telekinesis. The scientist was extremely intrigued by this development, and he began to test her capabilities. However, she lost control of it one day, after a particularly lengthy argument with her father about the ability, and went on a small rampage across New York City, thus revealing herself to the world. She was tazed by an unlucky police officer, and was put in captivity, where she underwent five years of horrible experimentation at the whims of the scientists her father once regarded as peers. Throughout the five years, she was horribly tortured in the name of science.
This ultimately led to her death.
Dr. Uther, infuriated by the turn of events, founded a school and orphanage named the Edwin R.G. Uther Boarding Academy, where he could watch over and protect those with gifts, or curses if you prefer. But around here, we just like to call it...

IT'S A CURSE DAMMIT!
Yo! Welcome to EHEG! So, if you haven't figured it out yet, this is a slice of life RP, where you can choose to be a student at the Home, or a staff member, and as such a former student. Who knows, maybe you've even met the elusive Dr. Uther! This is a character RP, by the way. I don't know how you could miss that... but still, people are weird. And stuff.
...thangs...
So, let's go over the basic lore:
-- Students --
- Students have powers, though you may use them at your own risk. I merely ask that each power has a flaw, for example, you can't have invincibility, because there's no weakness/flaw. You could teleport, but you might not have any idea where you'll land other than a general direction. -
-- Staff --
- Staff are all former students, and as such, also have abilities, though they have much more visible control over them than the student body itself. Using the teleportation example from above, a staff member, might be able to predict where they'll land within a few yards or so. But still slightly flawed, see? Staff includes cooks, teachers, and custodians. -
-- Map --
- Doesn't exist yet. If someone wants to make one, go right ahead. I'll just outline some locations here for now.
Classroom 4C -- That's your homeroom, and you'll spend most of your time there!
Erin Residence Hall -- Your dorms. I'll leave you to figure out room assignments, but TG me when you figure it all out so I can put it here!
Staff Residence Hall -- Well, it's pretty self explanatory. Same deal as the Erin Residence Hall, TG me!
The Cafe -- Really!? You're asking me what the cafe is? It's really simple. It's the place where you get food for lunch, you baka.
Student Body Government Clubroom -- Alright, fine. I'll give you basic plot. Extraordinaries are being hunted. The Feds don't know that the Academy exists yet, but they have captured and experimented on numerous Extraordinaries who made a show of their ability in public and got some attention. As such, it's us, the Student Body Government's job to halt these Extraordinaries and make them fade away into the darkness for their own safety, or get them to come to the Home. Seems simple right? Not really.
Gymnasium -- Has most exercise equipment imaginable, it's also, other than the observatory the largest building on campus. It also has an indoor pool, so that's cool. Please no groping, yes, it was only an accident the first time Alek, but you can't just go around the campus 'tripping' on 'accident' on pretty girls...
Observatory -- For looking at the stars, it's a quiet, serene place, and it has the best view on all the campus. It's a nice place, with a good view and a chill, nice vibe.
