I wonder if the zero like creatures would ally with the bronze... they arn't very smart so it wouldn't take much.
Well I do all sorts of RP's, mainly PT and FT, although by cannon my nation is PT mixed with FanT

1. I have those nice things called Automated Defense Systems. Let's see how you will fight them.

2. I am an overpopulated nation, that really needs resources. No matter how few raids you will do, they will be taken seriously. No planet is alone, and the space isn't empty. As soon as you attack one planet, the surrounding systems will find out. Also, as I mentioned during the previous thread, ever since the Secession Wars, the Colonials are using a simple tactic. A lot of becaons, filled with sensors, are released all throughout the Colonial Space, for the monitoring of the space traffic.

3. All the computers in the Colonies are synchronized into the Colonial Defense Network, now overseen by the AI Alice. The CDN allows better coordination between the SCAF, and allows a pretty fast speed of data transmission.

4. Simple scanning. The AI will examine every last piece of the planet, and eventually, the eggs, that can't exist naturally on that respective planet, will be found. Routine scans are performed pretty often, in order to find any Necromorph threats.


I got the bit that the AI was scanning, but what are they scanning with. Is it heat based, visual, sonar, ect. And I am happy with surrounding systems pitching in to help: Just leaves them with less defenses once I convert their biomass. I just want to know what kind of detection hardware you are using, though it would make sense if you specified in whatever retaliation post you have should I attack you. Just be warned that our Governesses will be engineering creatures specifically designed to combat you after my first few probing missions, and I doubt that you can design and deploy equipment designed to combat our Anti-Humie creatures as fast as we can.

Battlestars sound scary.
The thing I am most excited about doing is militarizing my Strangers, those throbbing pink bastards will be my key to survival should I be attacked. The ability to warp space is always nice.

New upcomming Drathian ships!

The Stalker Class
Image

Purpose: Use mainly for scouting. Sometimes used in light skirmishes.
Weaponry: 7 regenerative tendrils, Varanium teeth, mouth mounted plasma cannon

The Hunter Class
Image

Purpose: Mainline fighter. Very fast and difficult to hit. Often used to disable enemy turrets and attack small, precise targets.
Weaponry: 4 Varanium spikes, 2 piercing appendages, 2 front mounted plasma cannons, 2 front mounted corrosive cannons.

The Murderer Class
Image

Purpose: The equivalent of a Destroyer, due to its agile and flexible nature, is often used to pierce enemy lines and cause havoc among the vanguard.
Weaponry 20 regenerative tendrils, Varanium teeth and spikes, Varanium piercing appendages, 100 side mounted plasma cannons, 100 side mounted corrosive cannons, mouth mounted beam cannon

The Cannibal Class
Image

Purpose: Acts as a battleship, with extremely high endurance, and yet still rather agile and flexible. Most often used to hold defensive lines, or shatter a light enemy force.
Weapons: 200 mounted plasma cannons, 200 mounted corrosive cannons, 2 main plasma blasters, 2 main corrosive blasters, mouth mounted charge beam, Varanium teeth, 4 Varanium piercing appendages, 4 regenerative tendrils

Massive, extremely resistant, very good armed ships, that are combining the functions of a battleship and a carrier in one powerful ship. Until now, no one ever broke through a battlestar formation.

Self replicating is bad. Regenerating is good.

Tracian, be nice though. Else the RNG will punish nice Alice (then run away, because no one wants to escalate AI fights).

The battlestars are designed to fight against foes with numerical superiority. Don't get close to my Dual Point Defense Batteries, or you'll learn what a flak field is.

It's working for me in Romania.

You can search for Battlestar Galactica battle scenes to see what I'm talking about. But Galactica is as I said, nothing to my battlestars.

The battlestars are designed to fight in formation or alone,using their endurance, powerful weapons and defenses to resist. Their fighters are compensating for the poor speed and mobility. As I said, if we compare them to ships, they would be a combination between battleships and carriers.

Ow. But don't worry, the Strangers will be far off. Due to how little value I have for my mens lives, I am going to attempt to warp a ton of them in a crate directly into your ship. I wanna see what happens, hopefully a big explosion.

I'm curious, how well protected are the main guns on Battlestars? How easily can they be disabled?
