Nice then. I can't wait for the RP to start. I love the Metro games, even if I played only Last Light.

4 for me

Metro 2033 actually went on Xbox live gold a few days ago apbut recently got taken down for last light to go up for gold on Xbox live which is why I'm doing this rp and again I'm warning only 6 or 7 big nation type line apps will be accepted

I've played Last Light, after I, well, legally borrowed it from the Pirate Bay, and I was thinking of buying the redux versions of both games.

The redux version is very good. I'm super excited for this rp I'm going be starting in the next....6 maybe 7 hours so there is time but I've been spreading the word so for the third time cause I'm anxious to everyone wanting a line only 6 or 7 accepted 2 have already been accepted so that leaves 4 or 5 spots here is the dispatch to look at the metro also line 7 has already been taken although it's not in the map.

How should I do with the stations? Invent some? Use original stations from the metro map in the wiki?

Mid-work, wouldn't be able to finish a full app. I don't exactly know what kind of neutral guy to make. If it is the sneaky kind, the open kind, the shifty kind or the kind that you wonder when he got in there with you.

That's it. Julius Kingsley is now the Cardinal's personal little marionette.

About Cardinal, I could find a picture of her, but.. yeah, it's complicated. She's inspired by the Administrator in the Alicization Arc of Sword Art Online. There are some illustrations of her in the books, but the only color one is.. complicated.

Nation (/Sort of a group.) Application
Name: The Zektan Collective
Flag/National Emblem: http://nikon.bungie.org/bwu/images/SoFreshSoClean.jpg
Short Description: The Zektan Collective is a broad and general term for the weak alliance between the thousands of Zektani Hiveminds. Each Hivemind is the collective intellect of one of the many slightly deviating sub-races and species that are identified as Zektan. These sub-races are not to be confused with the different specialized sub-species within each Hivemind though, such as Drones and Soldiers. All of these slightly different and unique Hiveminds are highly individual, with their own "cultures", physical oddities and, in some cases, gods. No Hivemind has a permanent home, as the Zektan rarely attempt to create a sustainable homeworld, instead sucking a planets resources dry before leaving the husk behind in search of new prey. Hiveminds are constantly at war with each other, uniting only when their collective Zektani species as a whole is at threat, or just when the Hiveminds all attack the same target, which happens often due to how similarly they all think.
==============================i
Basic Information:
Leader: The Zektan Collective has no leader, though it's major Hiveminds (Which by definition have no leader.) in order of strength are as follows:
1. Hivemind Gorgon
2. Hivemind Kulkatchka
3. Hivemind Hezen
4. Hivemind Allkoriza
5. Hivemind Touan
6. Hivemind Orrin
7. Hivemind Xerx
8. Hivemind Haat Karim
9. Hivemind Kesus
Species: All 9 major Hiveminds are sub-species/races, deviating in smell and coloration. All such species are referred to by the names of their hiveminds, for example a Kesusian or a Xerxite. Specialization within Hiveminds differ physically depending on their tasks, and they are as follows: Soldiers, Drones, Healers, Queens, Consorts, Brutes, Strangers, the various military beasts, and Governesses.
Population: Over 20 quadrillion Zektani are currently floating about in their Hive Fleets.

Galaxy: The Milky Way and some of the surrounding deep space.
Territory: AS the Zektan are fleet-based, they have no territory in the traditional sense. They are, however, most active in the Galatic East, though Hivemind Xerx is located in the far galactic South.
Number of Worlds: The Zektan are currently draining roughly 30 million worlds scattered across the Galatic East and South, though these are very temporary holdings, especially since the Zektan are preparing for a massive crusade to the West.
Capital World: N/A
=============================
Levels:
Level of Belligerence : 10
Intelligence: Hiveminds are about 7-9, individuals are 0.
Technology Level: 7
Power Level: 3-4?
=============================
Technology:
F.T.L. Travel: Yes. All "ships" (Massive chitinous beasts manufactured by Governesses in the Spawning Pools set up on un-drained worlds.) in a hive fleet are equipped with 1-3 Strangers, massive and disgusting beasty-things capable of warping space to the liking of the Hivemind. F.T.L is, however, used only on a few occusains and for surgical strikes, as the Hiveminds have no need to rush.
F.T.L. Type: Warp.
Technological Development Focus: Military by far.
=============================
International Information:
Part of the Galactic Council: No
Part of any alliances: No
=============================
Additional Information
History Once, long, long ago, the Zektani had a homeworld. An inhospitable place it was, a rouge planet somewhere out in deepspace, or maybe some baking hot world orbiting a swollen star. In truth, no one really knows, Zektani aren't too keen on keeping records. Whatever this place was like, it was populated by hordes upon hordes of insects. Big, chitinous things with a nasty tendency of eating everything in sight. These creatures, all of them equipped with the standard insect hive mentality, where able to swiftly drive out whatever had been living on their planet previously, eating and/or enslaving any civilization or species that stood in their way. Their ascension from pests to the rulers of their little hellhole was, it can be assumed, swift. After all, history has taught us of the brutal speed of the Zektan hordes in whatever they do, be it the breeding of warships or the razing of civilizations. However, if there is any one race unfit for rulership, it is the Zektani. With no concept of conservation or the well being of other beings, the nameless homeworld of the Hiveminds was soon even more of a wasteland, anything that could be mined or eaten had been, and the very earth crumbled due to the massive and poorly thought out warrens strung just below the surface. The only obvious choice was too flee, which is what the Zektani did, and they did it hastily. After much trial and error, the bubbling spawning pits that pockmarked the surface of the planet gave birth to the first Leviathan, a massive beast which, when equipped with a Stranger, could get off of the planets surface. The strongest among the Zektani, soldiers for the most part, boarded those first few craft, leaving the rest of their race to die out on their dead wasteland of a homeworld. Since than, that same old story has been repeated on countless worlds, with the Hive Fleets slaughtering the locals and using their precious biomass to expand their armies and fleets so as to be able to conquer an even richer world the next time. In recent years, the greatest of all Hiveminds, Gorgon, Kulkatchka and Hezen, have been pushing deeper and deeper towards the core of the milky way, followed by the slightly weaker Hiveminds seeking to capitalize off of the leftovers. Meanwhile, Hiveminds Haat Karim, Kesus and Touan are massing for a great crusade directed towards the Andromeda Galaxy, and Hivemind Xerxs is making swift hit-and-runs against millions of fringe-worlds.
Goals: Survive and thrive, eat everything.
RP Example: Can the history count? If not, I can just write up something here at a later date.

Also, I am not sure how this new race would ift in the Milky Way. Their aggressiveness would mean that they should have been a great problem to the H.C.A. and the successors, since none of them could have allowed the destruction of so many planets. Resources were vital for all of them.

Hm... Well, we have been raiding fringe worlds for the most part, and I could add that we dwell i some unknown area of Deep Space, making only hit and runs from the dark and expansive spaces inbetween galaxies.

You guys are okay until you give us reason to believe otherwise. You won't get the open arms welcome an alien civilisation would, but we have nothing against you. You are from Magellanic. Could you please give me some years for your history, to see how you would fit in the universal chronology? I'm not sure if it's linked at the beginning, but you can find the chronology and history in my factbooks.

Hm... Well, we have been raiding fringe worlds for the most part, and I could add that we dwell i some unknown area of Deep Space, making only hit and runs from the dark and expansive spaces inbetween galaxies.

Could you please give me some years for your history, to see how you would fit in the universal chronology? I'm not sure if it's linked at the beginning, but you can find the chronology and history in my factbooks.

Brief one here:

Unknown date B.C.E - 1100 C.E: The Zektani, shortly after becoming "sentient" or "civilized", sweep over their homeworld (Far eastern galactic fringe.), conquering it and turning it into a factory world.

1100 C.E - 1400 C.E: The Zektani lead a peacfulish existence on their homeworld, harvesting resources, breeding new sub-species for roughly 300 years, this golden age ends with the first few warren collapses and the Long Drought.

1400 C.E - 1950 C.E: The Years of Collapse are a brutal and violent period on the homeworld, symbolized by nearly endless bloodshed, starvation and a desperate struggle to escape the planet.

2000 C.E: After 50 years of total anarchy, the now extinct Hivemind Zonork breeds the first Leviathan, loads aboard it the strongest of their race and escapes to a nearby system with the help of a massed group of Strangers.

2050 C.E: After another 50 years of drifting through space and near collapse, the last Zektani crash into their first world, one inhabited by a weak and peaceful civilization, spilling out of their ship and slaughtering the inhabitants. They use their and the rest of the planets biomass to create an even larger force and breed quite massive Leviathans before setting off once more. The Zektani continue like this for a while longer, attacking fringe worlds and creating splinter fleets to take even more ground, eventually leading the the over extension and shattering of Hivemind Zonork.

2160 C.E - 2200: The Zektani encounter few of the "invaders", though when they do they swiftly flee to deep-space. After roughly 40 years of this, a massive push from superior Invader forces cripples the fledgling Zektani empire, forcing them to flee into deep space and away from the milky way.

2200 - 2600: With Invader forces disappearing from the Galaxy, the cripples Zektani fleets return, though cautiously. For years they thrive off of isolated human colonies and other civilized worlds, growing stronger and stronger, eventually sallying forth once and for all from deep space to go on an endless crusade against fringe worlds.

2600 - 3170: Once the FTL drive is reinvented by the humans, their strength increases tenfold, forcing Zektani forces to once again resume hit and run attacks against fringe worlds. They strike fast and hard, making sure that no force will have time to mobilize whilst they steal away as much biomass as possible from those planets they take. They slowly grow and fester in deep space, and with larger forces than ever before, now prepare for a great crusade of destruction. Long regarded as a minor nuisance by humanity, the mighty Hivemind Gorgon is ready to spearhead a blitzkreig attack towards the galactic core.

Basically the idea of my nation at the moment is a mediocre power from beyond, which plans to make use of the currently overextended empires by making quick and spread out strikes, giving the larger and clumsier armies little time to respond, especially to many threats at once. Due to how swiftly my creatures multiply, I can gain considerable strength for every world I take, and hope to get a snowball rolling. Should that fall, I will just flee into deep space to lick my wounds before setting off for easier targets.

==============================i
Basic Information:
Population: Over 10 quadrillion Zektani are currently floating about in their Hive Fleets.

Capital World: N/A
=============================
Levels:
Level of Belligerence : 10
Intelligence: Hiveminds are about 7-9, individuals are 0.
Technology Level: 7
Power Level: 3-4?
=============================
Technology:
=============================
International Information:
Part of the Galactic Council: No
Part of any alliances: No
=============================
Question did you rip this off of the Zerg?

Zerg are more gene-based, and their hivemind mechanics are weird, what with leaders and all. Instead of assimilating genes into my army I just eat them, but in terms of being biological and hivemind based, yes, we are similar to the zerg.

It seems okay to me.

This is the map. The yellow point is the Sol System. Could you please tell us your position in accordance to the map?

I like your idea of the "living ships". I wanted to implement that into the Drathians once the Mind Flower had bloomed, but you beat me to it. XD You wouldn't mind if their designs are similar to yours, would you? I don't want you to think I'm just blatantly stealing your ideas.

Ugh. Living ships. It seems the Axiom Knights will have to purge them.
