Additional Information
History:Formed 400 years ago by the human Avalon Alliance along with the alien Stelvan Federation, Retval Republic and Jevlon Coalition after winning the Magellanic War where they fought and annihilated the Magrod Empire, the Alliance stand as a unified defensive and political alliance of the member nations.
Currently, it represents 23 races of all sorts of characteristics including various types of human including those descended from the human colonisation fleet who ended up on Avalon after getting caught by a natural FTL event which flung them into the Large Magellanic Cloud along with somehow sending thing back another 150 years into the past. No one is still quite able to explain how that happened to this day and all attempts at replicating it artificially have failed completely.
Now, 400 years after the Alliance was formed, it is now been embroiled in the final stage of the galactic war against the Magellanic Imperium for the past 12 years. Soon, the Alliance plans to end the war on its own terms.For the next 6 years after the Second Magellanic War ended, the Alliance integrated ex-imperium planets into the Alliance itself. Even after the war, the military still hunted for rouge Imperium forces that didn't accept the surrender. Eventually, the Alliance decided to finally send a fleet to the Milky Way to make contact with whoever is the leading human power there just a few months after making contact with the Vuldron.
They made contact with the Sovereign Colonies of Mankind, who they soon became allies with, much to then surprise of both sides due to the Sovereign Colonies dislike of aliens due to them losing the First Intergalactic War.
Then the Second Intergalactic War happened. During the War, the a Alliance for the most part didn't really contribute to any major areas instead assisting in defending a weak section of Colonial space that was the closest to Alliance space in the LMC. Though the Keltaken did try three times to invade the Alliance, their efforts were beaten back by the forces of the Alliance and the Vuldron.
When the war ended, the Alliance was one of the few nations to stay allied with the SC. And, compared to the Sovereign Colonies and the Keltaken Empire, got off relatively lightly and in the long run actually got stronger due to that as it allowed them to stay intact and at essentially full strength post war. By the time of the 10 year anniversary of the end of the war, the alliance had increased to 600 million worlds and 3.1 Quadrillion people, making it one of the strongest of the human states behind the SC.

A massive armada of 32 million manned and unmanned warships assemble in the gulf of space near the Imperium's capital system, ranging from Yorkshire class destroyers all the way to Avalon class fleet battleships. They await the order to jump to the Imperium's Asteria System and begin the battle that will bring the Second Magellanic war to its end after 12 years and over 230 million dead.
Amongst them, sits a warship that dwarfs every over ship in the fleet in both size and firepower. The Excalibur, flagship of the Alliance of Free Stars Navy.

Fleet Admiral Liam Clarke, commander of the Alliance Attack Armada assembled to assault the Imperium's capital, sits on his command chair as he listens to the reports come in from across the fleet.
"Sir, all ships report ready." The Stelvanian head communications officer reports from his post.
"Good, send out the order to the fleet to begin the assault!" Clarke orders in response.
The order is sent to the ships that make up the armada who then active their FTL drives, wormholes opening in front of the ships which they then enter once the wormholes are fully opened.

Asteria System
Tens of millions of wormholes open up as the Alliance Attack Armada jumps in 90 light seconds from the Imperium's capital planet of Asteria. Once every ship has exited the wormholes, they spread out over 40,000 km and begin the six hour advance on the Imperium's capital.
At the same time over Asteria, the remnants of the imperium Navy that hadn't fled to parts unknown muster in high orbit of the planet as they prepare for the arrival of the Alliance forces. Among the ships is the Imperium's flagship, the Asteria's Glory, 9.6km of Imperial armour and weapons built to the highest standards. On the planet, ground forces set up defensive positions within the cities on the planets surface along with various AA guns of various types.
As the both sides prepare for the final battle, strike craft and mechs being loaded with weaponry and ammo while warships activate their defences and weaponry.
And while all this happens, the Imperium's Emperor sits in his throne room, a slight frown on his face as he reads the report of the Alliance arriving.
"Damn the Alliance..." He angrily says to himself, as the foe that has turned all his dreams and ambitions to nothing but dust.
Six Hours Later...
The Alliance armada reaches the area of the orbit of Asteria's moon after several hours of travel, ahead of them at a distance of just over 300 thousand km sits the Asteria's Glory and its fleet of 12 million warships, ready to fight the Alliance fleet that outnumbers them.
On the Excalibur, Fleet Admiral Clarke speaks to the rest of the armada.
"This is Fleet Admiral Clarke. We are but a few minutes from the climatic battle that will finally end this terrible war. But, this would not have been possible if it had not been for your efforts. When the Imperium tried to push you back, did you let them? No! You fought back with all your strength and pushed them out of our systems! When they tried to demoralise you, did you let them? No! You stood firm in the face of their attempts. And when they tried to strike at our heart, did you let them? NO! You struck with such energy that they fled before your advance!"
Clarke takes in a breath before continuing.
"Now, it is time to end this! Today, the Imperium's final fleet shall be turned into ash by our weapons! Today, the Imperium shall be brought to justice for what he has done! For Avalon! For Stelvania! For those who have died! FOR THE ALLIANCE!"
Cheers erupt from the rest of the fleet as the speech finishes along with chants of "Long live the Alliance!" and "For Avalon!"
No such speech occurs on the Imperium's side, casting doubt into the minds of some including Prince Trevalson, Heir Apparent of the Magellanic Imperium and one of the those in the Imperium's upper echelons who said that a war with the Alliance would be a bad idea.
The Asteria's Glory moves up to the front, forming up with the largest group of battleships, vaporising anything that tries to engage both it and the rest of its group with overwhelming firepower. Eventually, after loosing over one and a half thousands ships just trying to take that one ship out, Fleet Admiral Clarke decides to order the Excalibur and its escorts to engage the Imperium's flagship.
The sheer amount of weapons fire being sent between the two groups of ship fill space as the pummel away at each other. Eventually, the Excalibur's more powerful shields and weapons prevail, the Asteria's Glory's escorts being taken out and leaving it alone to fight the Excalibur and its escorts. Then, a voice comes over the communication channels.
"This is Prince Trevelson to Imperium ships stand down. Alliance ships, as of this moment, the Magellanic Imperium surrenders."
"I..uh...okay." Clarke sputters in response. "Care to explain how you ended up in charge?"
"Well..." Trevelson begins the explanation of how he ended up in charge.
Flashback
Royal Palace
Trevelson, flanked by a dozen soldiers advances down the palace's corridors towards the throne room. As the approach down the final corridor towards the doors, he nods to the guards at the door who nod back and open the door to let them in.
As Trevelson and the soldiers enter, the Emperor stands up from his throne with a start.
"Trevelson! You will explain yourself at once as to why you have intruded into the throne room without asking me first!" He demands.
"You have prolonged this war for too long. Even now, men are dying pointlessly. You will order them to stand down and announce our surrender immediately. After which, you will be handed over to the Alliance." Trevelson tells the Emperor.
"Are you out of your mind?! We can't surrender to those dogs! They will kill us al-" The Emperor begins to rant before stopping, eyes widening as Trevelson draws his laser pistol from its holster.
"Silence. You will do as I told you. Now." Trevelson orders.
"You dare pull a weapon on me? Guards, deal with him!" The Emperor shouts to the royal guards in the room who simply look around as if not paying attention.
"Argh! Fine, I'll do it my self!" He shouts, as he goes to draw his pistol.
*Vreeem!*
That is, until Trevelson shoots him in the head with his laser pistol.
The Emperor falls forward to the floor, dying instantly from the shot to the head.
Trevelson then turns around.
"Well, let's end this war then, shall we?"

"I see. Very well. Prepare for troops to land to begin occupation. After that, we shall decide the reperations." Clarke states.
"I shall inform those on the ground at once." Trevelson responds.
"Good. We don't need any more dead than we already do." Clarke tells him.
"Agreed." Trevelson says in response.

An Alliance VTOl flys across the ruins of the city, side doors open as it carries a Alliance Galactic News Service Team.
"I am currently in the air above Seltem City, the last city in the Imperium to fall before the surrender was announced 8 days ago. Those who are still alive are currently trying to rebuild their lives as the reality that the Imperium has surrendered finally sinks in. The planet it is on, Delvron, is one of the harder hit of the inner systems of the former Imperium. Battles raged for several months as Alliance forces took city after city. Eventually, Seltem fell and two days later, the Imperium surrendered after 12 years and 230 million or possibly more dead in total making it the deadliest war since the Alliance came into existence 425 years ago." Adriana Livingston, the AGNS News Correspondent there, speaks to the camera in front of her.
"Among the terms of surrender, the Imperium was annexed by the Alliance which has begun the long process of integrating the ex-Imperium worlds into the Alliance. Another of the terms is that those who have been accused of committing war crimes are to be out on trial. And one last important one is that all remaining Imperium military forces are to be disbanded and the equipment scraped or sold off to allies.The war may now be over, but the fallout will be around for years to come. This is Adriana Livingston, AGNS." She finishes.
