I've been required to let a lot of claims to previously RL British Empire go because of territorial ambitions that aren't even included in the core claims of others. Perhaps you could take Yukon and BC, but I'd like up to Alberta and NWT. We can be trading partners!

This is me compromising again; I've done a lot of that since submitting my app. If you decide you're not willing to negotiate - and worse, if Os just hands you lands I've had approved in my territorial claims (not awesome) after denying me a third of the empire in favour of other claims (made before mine and totally fair) - then I will need to rethink my foreign policies.

Well since in my history, my revolt only worked because i stole Spainish weapons and some spainish units with good training left the army to join their native people, but would Spain be considered powerful or no?

I just read your application. With a population of just half a million your country would obviously be weak. But a half million is quite low. In RL the population of Mexico at that time was seven and a half million according to populstat. Thats fairly irrelevant since it says less about the level of population Mexico at the time could sustain and more about level of settlement, but assuming a Muslim Spain settled at the same speed as a Christian one thats a better population.

As for the rest of it a nation that revolted just seven years ago is probably gonna have some internal problems it needs to deal with before it can start acting like a great power but ultimately I suppose its up to you. Whether Spain is powerful or not you must ask New Grenadeseret about. It has a much higher then in RL so that may indicate strength, but in any case I don't think stealing Spanish weapons and having Spanish units defect is necessarily going to translate into Mexican strength even if Spain is strong.

On another note if your country is muslim why does your ruler have a Christian name and title?

If you have large Christian and Muslim populations, your going to be weak, insurrection will be terrible

I knew 500,000 looked too low but i couldnt find something that was reliable, even when i went to wiki, i couldnt find anything. But i got with 7.5 million which sounds better.

I get that the AH means a different empire. The main thrust of what I was saying is that I was denied lands others had in their accepted territorial claims, and Canada is in my accepted territorial claim. While I'm perfectly willing to work with you on it, cuz I know you and like you, I'd rather not see my claims just given out.

Populstat usually has demographic data for most nations for the past centuries. There is also Wolfram-Alpha which I am a bit more sceptic of but which usually generates results close to the populstat one so presumably its a fine enough source.
