Dude, it isn't up to me. You declare it, and folks like British, French, Hansa, etc. has to recognize that you are.

Whether that is done through serious conquest (like what Japanese did IRL with Sino-Jap and Rus-Jap wars) or simply saying please over diplomacy, if you declare it and if others accept that you are, you are set, and you can be western.

.... again, I know you are one of those folks who said technological inferiority due to you NOT being western was your weakness in army/navy. You need to change that in your app and get it re-approved by me once you turn western, since you no longer have that disadvantage.

No...? Even if you are lagging behind technology-wise, as long as you are clever or strong enough to subdue the native population, you can always have colonies.

Besides, like I said, Oriental nations (and subsequent "Orientalization" or "Easternization") also have same technological prowess as the Europeans. But they are not "Western"... and yet they are allowed to colonize. Such mechanical limitations never existed in this RP to begin with.

The rest of Canada is an extant claim by my Cambrian (British) nation. It's not coloured in because I have to RP colonising it. While that may sound like it's up for grabs, there are a number of places on the map included in accepted territorial claims of ambition that are considered reserved.

Firstly the Russo-American company to Alaska is more successful and more people arrive in mass to Alaska, then special focus is put upon Alaska so it can compete with other European colonies

No...? Even if you are lagging behind technology-wise, as long as you are clever or strong enough to subdue the native population, you can always have colonies.

Alright. I might have to wait to westernize myself, as it might take a while, but it will be one of my objectives. Egypt will probably be pretty easy to colonize, compared to other places.

Well since in my history, my revolt only worked because i stole Spainish weapons and some spainish units with good training left the army to join their native people, but would Spain be considered powerful or no?
