But to play devil's advocate, when the Church of England was established, it led to long-term religious violence. England kept flipping between Protestantism and Catholicism, and the Puritans and Presbyterians both tried to seize power. Then as a grand finale, England had a civil war between 1642 and 1651. In short, English history is littered with massacres.

So I guess Russia can RP its religion as homogeneous or chaotic, if he/she wants to.

The ROC, or the Patriarchate of the Russians and all Eastern Slavs, isn't headed by a foreigner. It's just that overall, the Russian Patriarch is subordinated to the Ecumenical Patriarch, a situation that exists ever since 1453.

This could end badly, just delete the population field or ignore it for the most part as what practical use does it have at present...

Yes, that would be for tbe best, but I want to remind everyone once more that population or number of any kind will not matter. It is a decorative figure to spice up the RP, and where it counts, I will be focused entirely on your quality of diplomacy, tactics and posts.

I'll gladly stop using that it was doing my nut in too, it was something of an experiment, fortunately my next post which I have nearly done lacks any of these accents completely, I'll try and see if I can remember what I meant myself! I will of course be waiting for someone else to post, I dont want to monopolise the IC thread or get any subsequent abuse when and if I end up causing a 2 months to advance because of what I have in mind, there's enough complaining as is!

I genuinely don't get the fixation with population, we're not in an era where people COULD field their maximum potential forces, even then this time period was rife with people forming alliances to strictly counter nations against which they were individually disadvantaged.

EDIT: And done, fortunately I had what they were saying refreshed from running through what I had planned

That I have no objection to. I just don't want a major power like Cambria with uncertain intent controlling territory so close to my territory in the Bismarck Archipelago.
