As of now? I really don't give much of a care. I have been spent with population nonsense.

135 seems a bit too large for a nation that is historically Yuan but stronger and better. Even with technological advances you would have, I would say that 110's or 120's would be more of a fair estimate.

I personally don't see how Christendom can have more population then me, but as we have no way to predict what would have happened to the population of Asia Minor and Greece without the real life wars that declined it, I will probably have to stick with 13 million.

Considering this, and the fact that I do not only have Greece and Asia Minor, but also Bulgaria, Serbia, Wallachia and now Aegyptus, my population needs an update.

if you change your population after the app is accepted, i believe everyone should have that same chance and that would be very confusing, not to mention changing the number of people on earth by alot and greatly change the world history and greater population would mean more farms and more technology on farming to increase food production etc

Still, you must understand, that, with no Fall of Constantinople, the ROC doesn't have the power or influence it had in real life. Also, since Moscow isn't the Third Rome, the Russian Patriarch won't have the same claims as the Pope and the Ecumenical Patriarch.

What will happen wouldn't have the same effect as the Russian Patriarch and the Ecumenical Patriarch excommunicating each other in real life. It will me more similar to the same thing happening between Constantinople and Romania, as an example.. A church, not exactly small, but not really important, breaking away.

The 1800's was the age of nationalism. I expect most ethnic Russians would support the church that aligns with their government, not one headed by a foreigner.

But to play devil's advocate, when the Church of England was established, it led to long-term religious violence. England kept flipping between Protestantism and Catholicism, and the Puritans and Presbyterians both tried to seize power. Then as a grand finale, England had a civil war between 1642 and 1651. In short, English history is littered with massacres.

So I guess Russia can RP its religion as homogeneous or chaotic, if he/she wants to.
