If the shit really hit the fan I may turn some pirates into privateers to accomplish that but the very notion of cooperating with criminals is so alien to the Brazilian leaders that they would need to be fairly desperate to do so.

Also Korea actually doesn't have any territory in the Spice Islands. The Spice Islands is another name for the Moluccas and does not apply to the Greater Sunda Islands which are where your territory is located. The name for the whole oceanic region of South East Asia is the Malay Archipelago also called the Indo-Australian Archipelago or the East Indies. The Malay Archipelago can be divided into the Sunda Islands (Greater and Lesser), the Moluccas, the Philippine Archipelago and New Guinea. I think keeping these distinctions in mind is important so that there is no misunderstandings. For Brazil lay claim to the whole of the Spice Islands, but that doesn't mean it then wants to drive the Koreans out of the Greater Sunda Islands which it only in theory lay claim to.

As for the Brazilian beef with Korea I suppose the main problem has been fixed with the disappearance of the Golden Khanate. If Korea would accept the Brazilian claim to the Moluccas, Sulawesi (the only Greater Sunda territory on which Brazil has ambitions) and the Lesser Sunda's and stop supporting pirates then there need be no beef and Brazil can accept most Korean claims to the Philippine archipelago and the rest of the Greater Sunda.

I was just going to skip to the meeting in Osaka, but you can RP the arrival of your ambassador if you like. Provided you're still interested in an alliance with Japan now that the Golden Khanate is no longer a threat. I think it's still in Japan's interest, but it's up to you whether or not it's still of value to Brazil.

So you're opposed to colonialism in the Western hemisphere, but you're actively setting up colonies in the Eastern hemisphere? I'd say that's contradictory, but France is just as hypocritical. The SFR considers itself the freest government, despite the fact that half its colonies are ruled by despots. (Tunisia, Vietnam, Namibia) The other half have way smaller populations than mainland France, so their representation in parliament is kind of meaningless. (Caribbean isles, Guiana, Senegal, Algeria, New Zealand) Long term goal: have all my colonies get seats in parliament, even if the richest 1% inevitably win the elections.

I round up everything in Spice Islands, mainly because I cannot spell XDDD. But basically it includes Indonesia Archipelago and other islands you mentioned. Korea does have a lion's share, and I am seeing to expand upon that... but you have a point. We should meet up in delegations and mark the demarcation lines to colonies. Perhaps Japan can help us with negotiations, since neither of us were formally introduced to one another.

Really? No interest in Caribbean... seriously? I would have imagined that you would be a little bit more interested in the lands in the area. However... I have been wrong before. Guess you have less part to play in this than expected. Still, you can bet that many will try to fight for Caribbean... including quite a bit of European powers. I would say that it would be better safe than sorry to try to fund some pirates than not if your goal is to prevent european landgrab on the region. But then again... tick for tack. If you desire Spice Islands (the legit namesake and not my grouse generalization), it may be a good idea to just let the Europeans have it and you control what you want in the area instead.
