Detailed Description: A team of misfits, greedy assholes, prisoners, and those genuinely experts in their field get an offer they cannot refuse. The corporation run by the German refugees the Rommels (yes those Rommels) has sent for them to find out what caused the explosion in Berlin back in 1970 to spread an unearthly substance known as the blackness across Reich territories. The Reich in the past ten years has turned into a hellhole of factions, mutates, and omens fighting one another while the previous teams sent by the Rommel have either failed or gone rogue. Secessionist movements, famine, plagues, and the Third World War between the U.S, and Japan threaten the world, but this expedition is your second chance.

Oh, and if you go rogue Rommels contacts with the Second League of Nations will send assassins after you, and they aren't new to the areas behind the wall either.

Like why it's 1980 and Stull called the German Reich, why the ancestors of Field Marshal Erwin Rommel are refugees (which is admittedly unimportant) and how a 2nd (and what I can only assume as a less useless) league of nations came to be. Also, what explosion? Why did it explode? What is this mysterious substance? How did a Third World War between the U.S and already crushed Japan start?

This seems like more of a back story to a Alt History nations rp than a character rp to me in a way also.

I won't deny that it's an interesting idea, but it needs work.

Today it is known simply as the blackness.


RP's Overarching Concept: An adventure through a land lost to time shrouded forever in a thick cloud. You, and others will try to find signs of life, and just what happened to the millions of people living here. The secrets here may contain clues to the plague that will begin tearing through the world, but they may also hold evidence to one of the most infamous genocides in the world. Of course it could possibly be a rumor since no one, but conspiracy theorists have proposed that the Germans would do such a horrendous thing. People coming from all races, and nationalities will have to band together in a land where horrors await them, and the ruins of a dead land (supposedly) beyond the wall that separates the free from those who once owned them. Perhaps that part of the world is better off dead?

One of German wonder weapons was deployed in Spain, but the key to it goes all the way to Berlin a literal heart of darkness. The Reich territories on the moon, mars, and several space stations around the earth have formed the Colonial Reich Administration, this pseudo-Reich has an incredibly tense relationship with the United States, and the empire of Japan. Two powers which could go to war over the Philippines if things go wrong, and thus caused the feared Third Great War.

America began to lose its two party domination in 1936 with the victory of a third party known as the America first party. The Democratic, and Republican Party eventually shattered into other parties. This lead to the government being truly neutral in the affairs of the world for most of the duration of the Second Great War, but corporations were freed to pursue interests including those funding the Axis powers.

Their form of ideology has spread throughout India, and other parts of Asia fall under their spell as well. America remained isolationist while the Germans deployed their best weapons at the soviets thanks to corporate american interest. Robert Kennedy though has helped create the Americas Treaty Organization to form a bond of economic, and military interests. The italians are too busy dealing with their African interests to interfere with the 2nd Spanish Civil War.

The formerly occupied states of Europe which were not enveloped in the blackness dedicated themselves to building a massive wall to prevent its spread. The world outside of a few government officials in the U.S have no idea that the Holocaust took place so these European states treated the Germans who were settled there as part of the Reich's plan surprisingly well. Even if it was out of desperate need to prevent collapse as now the world lost the breadbasket of central Europe, and millions faced starvation in the early years.

Japan continues to advance in their occupation of Australia, and the government has fled to San Francisco. The colonies of the world powers were left in a bit of a quandary since the colonial governments were never given orders to withdraw. The Second League of Nations based in Reykjavik works to help transition of these areas into full blown countries, but it is taking time due to the sheer amount of work. The royal family, and the government now live out their days in exile within Canada one of the more successful remnants of Britain.

Yet Canada has dealt with an increasing amount of Quebecois secessionist sentiment in the 1950s, and in the 1970s Quebec officially seceded the war has been long, and hard the U.S government took interest enough when Robert Kennedy came in to mediate a formal peace. The BUF government of Britain is struggling to maintain their colonies, and the 4th Republic of France contemplates giving their few remaining colonies indepence while Italy remains hard pressed against such actions in their expansive hold of Africa. The white states of Rhodesia, South Africa, and Namibia have a hold on Southern Africa.

Spain lost a key ally which helped fund the government, and preserve their economy. Once the German government collapsed the bankrupt Franco regime encountered mass protests who wanted a return to the republic. In time the protests turned into riots once soldiers started gunning them down. American volunteers, and European veterans of the 2nd Great War flooded in once the civil war began. No one is really certain what happened, but Madrid, and major cities were consumed in atomic hellfire. There may be loyalist remnants hiding out somewhere, but Spain is a land of radiation, disease, famine, and collapsed society. No one knows how, but a wonder weapon being tested in a German facility got all the way to Spain, and has been unleashed.


The first recorded cases came two years after the atomic attacks (1977) on October 27th, 1979 reports of something known as the Spanish plague began coming out of whatever broadcasting authorities remaining in Spain. Many attempts to stop the virus were taken such as the French firing at refugees coming across the Pyrenees.

By then any efforts to stop it were too late as the infection began to fester within French borders, and continues to spread. French scientists are baffled, and the World Health Organization shrugs it off claiming the polio epidemic to be far more important in dealing with. The loss of Jonas Salk had not done any favors for the world, and now the world faces something unpredictable at the moment. Others view talk of this coming plague as nonsense, and a retired German field marshal is living in Paris has sought you, and others out for a special mission into the heart of darkness itself. Of course what you will find is anybody's guess that is if you make it out alive anyway.

The blackness itself is a feared substance not to be trifled with. It is responsible for the rampancy of mutations in the disunited Reich, and lead to the creation of factions attempting to purge the mutations. The omens themselves are the end product of the blackness it guards, propagates, and spreads it town to city. They are rarely ever taken down since they only are there to do their jobs. Should the mutates, and still normal humans interfere it can get messy. Whatever notes by the league concerning the blackness is the fact it is not of this planet.

So as for how the Reich collapsed I have been thinking.

As Berlin was swallowed by the blackness the SS put their support behind Hanke (who succeeded after Himmler irl) while the Wehrmacht tried to maintain order. The massive evacuation of citizens into the territories collapsed as the civil war began. The SS lost, but so the Wehrmacht along with millions of civilians. The blackness spread without major opposition, and 10 years later has begun to taint the land in preparation for something. All the remains of the Reich Emergency Catastrophic Services (RECS) are the relocation camps where scared people were dropped off.

These camps have devolved into strictly controlled regimes led by a twisted version of Aryan eugenics seeking to erase all mutates.

Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone would be interested in an rp I made recently. It's my personal take on a manga I read recently. The jist of it is that Vampires control basically the entire world, they harvest humans and other races for their blood to sustain themselves but slowly the populace have become rather unhappy at being used as walking blood sacks. So the Sparks of rebellion have been started and only time will tell what will happen! So come one come all to witness Blood of the Lambs Children of Horash.

Fast to me is Temp-RP speeds. Where you make your first post, go to bed, wake up, log in, and there's like 20 pages.
