Well, I've been trying to make it so that it is truly a character oriented RP as opposed to factions. People tend to want to be high ranking people with command over thousands of troops. Can you suggest a way (aside from limiting ranks) to limit the use of massive armies?

Keep the massive armies, but make it so the characters are strong enough to fight a good number of normal troops

Well, I have been thinking that a Republic Command RP would be cool. That might be a way but other than that I agree with Mira.

Either telling people that they can't do it, or allow players to be powerful enough to take on an army.

Me thinks I am going to self current Star Wars RP and design the Republic Commando RP. Each person can RP a commsndo in a team and I can add multiple teams of Commandos.. Yes it is comming together perfectly in my head

The reason I'm nervous about just commandoes is because their, well, clones. They might have their own personalities and quirks, but they are too similiar to each other. Needs more diversity.
