Anyway, during all of life's issues and things, I've started to freaking miss writing. Especially RPing. I've just not had time to really dive headlong back into NS like I wanted, so I just never came back. I mean, I still don't have time like I want, but what the hell, no harm in just getting back into contact with y'all.

Soooooo...things have changed quite a bit since I left. Damn. Like, I was just perusing NS the other day, and seriously, freaking EVERYTHING has changed.

Life is going pretty well. Not making the money that I really want to make, but my wife and I are getting by (the economy here is shit, and the vast majority of jobs here are minimum wage which is like $8.50 an hour). So I'm actually trying to get hired by an online tutoring group that a friend of mine works for. But one thing I need is active participation in an online group (preferably writing), so hence why I'm back. And they want me to remain active even while working with them, so I'm looking to stay here for quite some time.

Anyway, I'm back too, but that's not what I'm here to talk about. Instead, I've gotta pitch.

I want you to think about some of the greatest groups in fiction. You know the kind, with their perfect heroes, cool expensive gadgets and sweet base. Now think the opposite and you get the Paragon Consortium. Formed by the disgraced Vanessa Carlyle in the shell of Paragon Industries, it's a dilapidated compound with a washed up owner. But you're not much better. Cause seriously, if you were, you would've joined up with almost anyone else. But thanks to some flaw of yours, you're down on your luck and have no better options. So why not join up? I mean, what do you got to lose, right?

So that's it. Inspired by things like Guardians of the Galaxy, Archer, Venture Bros, and Doraleous and Associates, this is cyberpunk RP about the misfits in their joke of company. You can be basically anything or anyone you want, so long as you can explain how you'd fit into the setting. The more important thing is that you're playing a bit of joke. Maybe you got the skills, but you're too much of a loose cannon to cut it anywhere else. Maybe you're overeager but don't have the skills to match. Whatever the reason, you couldn't hack it in the better guilds so now you're here.

The RP will be semi-sandbox, with players taking turns controlling arcs with free time sprinkled in. What the arcs entail is up to you, because what the Paragon Consortium does is really up to the players. Ms. Carlyle just cares about paying the bills, so as such will take contracts from scientific research opportunities to armed assaults.

Now, seeing as I just got over my bout of depression, I don't got a whole much else but an idea, so world-building and interest is more of what I'm looking for. Any takers?

Anyone considering a mystery gang RP? The one with various characters who are part of a group traveling around solving mysteries where they go. I recently watched Mystery Skulls Animated - Ghost and it reminded me of what I love about Scooby-Doo and of how much I enjoy Archie's Weird Mysteries and Gravity Falls. I'd really like to take part in an RP set in a world with a lot of these groups around and an overarching mystery that motivates them all. The world is a strange place. I had tried to host a few in the past but by the time such RPs get rolling I tend to loose focus on the plot I had in mind or am thrown off by something in the RP.

I'm up for either and both. As in some are fake paranormal events while others really do have ghosts and ghouls and other frights involved. A mixture would certainly keep us on our toes and prevent us for always assuming the events to be real or the events to be fake as we'll have experienced both
