I've looked at a map of Europe I've drawn with a quick hand, trying to see what the Soviet strategy would be. And... O my.

For a moment, I thought Finland could claim to be unimportant, so we would have to fight only against a modest Red Army force. But, looking at this map; we are a nuisance. Finland and Sweden are, together with Greece and Turkey, 'flanking countries'. From there, air attacks on main supply routes can be launched, together with assaults into Russian homeland. Same goes for Turkey. Now, while hitting Germany as hard as possible is the main objective, when those attacks slow down, Russia will need to punch Scandinavia out of the war effort. In a prolonged conflict, Russia can't have Sweden and Finland in the blue, so to speak. So, we're actually really important! What a boost to self esteem! Beers are on me, lads. We're actually important to the war effort! Huzzah!

Also, Russian attempts to smash us will probably be substantial. So, drink a few.

So GCCS, Would you mind cleaning up our battle map a little bit, just so we can see a little more clearly what the hell is going on?

Alright. What defensive line are we gong for? The lakes, the middle towns, or the Helsinki line? I suggest lakes, just for the pretty RP-ing scenery and the air of mystery and confusion.

I'm still busy redownloading it... This means I'll have to play Brüder gegen Brüder again, which isn't that bad.

Lakes, get rid of the first line, when the RP begins we would have already fallen back to the secondary positions.

And, one more question: where will we be stationed? Along the entire line, or just in one position?

One Position, right in the middle hopefully.

Got one! This one shows all the information we have. Soviet designations and troop strengths will appear shortly, as we get an idea of their strength. Right now, we have a company of infantry, we have armour, helo's and artillery. Hope this is a bit less... cluttered than the last one.

Just get rid of the Symbols. I've actually been toying around with the design of a completely new one for the Combined Arms Company.

I worry about amphibious operations from behind. We are by the sea and right on a main route for Soviet Forces. We can easily be cut off and this is Soviet waters. Allied navies better have their stuff together and fast or we will be cut off and destroyed.

I too worry about that. And airmobile divisions. We are far too outgunned for this. Luckily, AA is an admiral by heart, so he'll save us.

Not Admiral, more like desk jockey who is fairly decent when it comes to naval strategy.

We were going to have an IC but budget cuts have prevented us from acquiring one.

Foot, but depending on the Helos we get, they may be transported by Helo.
