That does not make them immortal or infallible, especially since mercenaries usually flee or betray their employers if the tide turns against them.

Well, folks; I'll be posting the grandiose, soap opera-esque return of two characters from the beginnings of No Man's Land. The first character, Wolfgang Magnusson, is my own. For those of you who don't know of him - he's a gas mask wearing, (overcompensated) gun wielding, six-foot-five berserker. The second is none other than Kazirstan's own fiery-haired Slovenian huntress, who does a pretty bang-up job of tracking and murdering her prey in a swift and grisly fashion.

I guess that leaves the majority of the Midwest open for some world-building, as well as some of the eastern seaboard, like the Carolinas and, perhaps, Florida. For some reason, I imagine Florida having some sort of apocalyptic, American-ized rendition of Venice; now that would be neat.
