NO MAN's LAND: A Survival RP (OOC/ENDED)

I am vry curious on this RP, how hard is it to create a group this late in the stage and is it just set in Colorado? I was thinking of doing something like the Brotherhood of Steel from Fallout, but rather have a military outpost of men who broke away from the "newly" fascist US Government in efforts to fighting for democracy and order.

If not, I have a character idea based around a Smuggler.

We have a strict rule against factions, but two or three fleshed-out characters is likely to get accepted.

Currently, everyone is at Salida, Colorado, but we are likely to start moving out of state.

Long story short, bad experience with factions so limit yourself to one or a couple main characters. This is a Character RP as it is. Yes, we are always open, and likely will start heading out of state soon enough. I do ask that you start somewhere within Colorado (or wherever the majority is) if only so you will actually matter to some plotline.

And yes, Salida is the defacto capital of the RP right now.

Last time. While I don't mind who controls random Vulture A, please keep in mind previous actions of other players. Grestin, having the first shot at dictating Vulture behavior, set the entire situation as a mire for both side. The Vultures have yet to effectively clear the mine field much less breach the wall. If you wanna take some shots and a Vulture blows up, then by all means, but don't ignore everyone else.

Also, only a few people know about Fairview and the Walking Men's involvement. Unless Cerberus was there and/or already knew the Walking Men in some close capacity then this is a minor case of Metagaming.

As far as Fairview is concerned, you ruined an important plot twist. If you want me to edit the conflicting post to explain how the small group of Vultures that breached the walls managed to get past the minefield, I will immediately make the changes.

The subplot of the Walking Men and their misadventures with the Order is the subplot of I and PLW (so I'm pretty much free to do something so minor as tell Cerberus about it.) If Cerberus does in fact know about the Walking Men, he would have already known about Fairview. It's already been ruined by telling Cain/Richard, and it's becomes more likely (if only a little) every minute than not that someone who knows who they are sees them.

I'm like lowkey confused as to what I should even post about. My guy has no conection to anything currently and hasn't done much of anything. So like... Yeah. I've got nothing to say in the IC, which is only fun. Don't mean to sound like I'm complaining. Just more voicing myself a bit since normally this is the reason I just sort of drop out from RPs.

For the sake of introductions, you could try and start out a little ways away from Salida and work your way there. That would give you enough time to flesh your character out and arrive for the new plot changes.

Out of the ideas suggested (and I'm not throwing them off as bad ideas) this probably sounds easier to do.
The others just feel a bit too awkward for me to do. Like, it feels weird at the point we're at, plus the fact I'm not confident I can pull it off, add in the fact my guy doesn't enjoy mass gatherings of people.

Also, what is the settlement situation on the West Coast or the East Coast.
