Or you could turn it into Rivet City.

The Republic of Louisiana claims the Mississippi delta, but has a few outposts, most notably an oil well in east Texas.

I feel the RoT would take offense to that, but they may not be able to actually throw their weight around to get things done.

I was thinking about having finished a few months after Luke left Dixie, so when he returns I can write about it.

Gastown would be a special case in which the drillers trade their refined oil for food and weapons, and New Orleans presented a special deal in which they extend their protection against raiders over the town in exchange for fuel.
While she had no regrets about throwing the lever to douse her husband's mistress in molten gold, Blanche did feel a pang of conscience for the innocent bystanders whose proximity had caused them to suffer gilt by association.

I know, just the sabre rattling is getting tiresome, and I need to make sure Keegan is knocked down a peg or three.

Sabre rattling? People are questioning me. I'm responding with realistic explanations. I'm prepared to drop the subject at any time.

I know this is also in the past but how long can a submarine be operational without maintenance? There was no place to dock and, again, supplies would always have been an issue. And it's unlikely that all subs were loyal to the Remnants after Year 4, meaning that Keegan would have been at risk should he have gone hunting after them only to come back unscathed. I know all your power relies on the submarine but you seem to have been a near unstoppable force. Maybe it's nothing but I dislike overpowered characters more so than military, so that's something to keep an eye on should Keegan and friend make issues later on.

A modern submarine can remain underwater for years. They really are only limited by the supply of food to the crew, yes. Also, I said he "scored many successes" in hunting deserters which is possible. I didn't say he offed them all or most of them. 4-8 kills is enough to be considered "many". Given that probably many deserters went off on their own and he wasn't taking on fleets (who, as everyone says probably couldn't operate anyways due to a lack of fuel if they weren't nuclear powered like many surface ships are). He didn't go and waste them all.

As for my RPing, I have yet to do anything in this RP and did nothing in the last that was godmodding. In fact, Keegan knew he was going to die if he took on the Bostonion fleet but was willing to anyways. Everything was in the confines of real world technology and explainable. I have to say, I'm a bit irked at already being put in the cross hairs for something I have no history of in these RPs but leave that be.

The Mississippi Delta isn't in Louisiana, it's in Mississippi State, and is quite far away from east Texas.

I wasn't sure about the size. I just guessed honestly.

No offense by the whole Keegan/Boston fiasco is one reason for the stance against player factions. That snowballed into something horrid. But let's move on and put this in the past. It's over so let's focus on the future.

Can the color of Dixie be like a reddish orange? And can it be titled "Dixie Republic"?

Thanks in advance. :)

Dude the map is trippy in tht we talk IC of these large nations and such, but on a map, they're tiny on that kind of scale. Like the Vultures seem massive, but their territory is a negligible dot on the map.

Meh. I fell happy with my little slice of Dixie.

I might include Charleston in Dixie latter if no one claims it.

Wait, I thought this was a character RP. Why are we claiming territories and filling out maps?
