Yeah but this char was such a good villain in the last one and He doesnt have to be leading the whole faction. Just part of it. Small faction anyways.

It's a non-exception rule. No player-led factions. Period. You want to argue? Take it up with Beiarusia.

Perhaps you could be a Remnant soldier or officer that's part of a Remnant cell in Colorado, but that's iffy as well, as Beiarusia tends not to like soldier characters.

Bei doesn't seem to have too much of an issue of people bringing characters back though.

There we go. Just a cell. Whose characters are soldiers?

Edit: Hi Walle and exactly Sarejo. My original plan was to take it up with the OP to see what can pass.

A character from Outbreak gets a pass, however you cannot be leading a Remnant cell. The second character can be loyal to the cause but controlling a cell is akin to having a faction and, if you haven't noticed, I'm taking a stand against factions. Otherwise everything is good. Also keep in mind that the Remnants Navy was considered defunct near ten years before the Remnants actually collapsed.

I'm just trying to figure out how old you were when the Outbreak occurred, cause the bio makes it seem like you were already in your 30's due to the wording. If you can either clear that up or just tell us that would be fine.

Hmm, I can work with that then. Alright, Keegan's app stays the way it is but he's only an NPC that the second character references. I'll have the second char lose the cell. How's that?

Also, Ill work in that they operated their sub all the way till a bit after the Rem collapse.

Cut the cell. Remnants are, for the time being, dead and gone. Mizrad was former Remnants but that was before they collapsed 12 or so years ago. Since then they've become little more than myth and legends to the new world.

If I may, I think I would be a prefect fit for leading the remaining Remnant. Or at least claiming to be the Remnant. Still trying to come up with the diabolical scheme for them though.

Name: Vice-Admiral Keegan Gilroy "The Admiral"
Nation Name: Laurvier
Birthplace: Austin, TX
Ethnicity: Caucasian
Age: 55
Pic/Description: 6'2", graying blonde hair, unattractive, lanky, glasses

Occupation: Remnant Commander

Immunity: None

(OPTIONAL)
Personality: Intelligent, Polite, Refined, Fanatical, Violent
Skills: Survival Skills, Leadership, Electronics, Diving, Submarine Systems/Naval Warfare (not that it necessarily matters but he does have those skills given his past)
Likes: Order, Loyalty,
Dislikes: Weakness, Fickleness, Rudeness, Foul Language
Fears: Treachery,

Bio: Once the weapons officer of an Ohio-Class submarine, the USS Ascension. The outbreak 27 years ago had Keegan quickly departing port with a skeleton crew and acting commander. Ever loyal to the United States, he patrolled the seas in virtual radio blackout as was ordered. About a month after the Outbreak Keegan's crew made contact with a settlement in Boston protected by a fleet of ships that had broken away from the Remnant (in his mind, the true United States). Thus began a stand off where he was hell bent on destroying the Bostonions or forcing them to surrender even if it meant his own death and the death of all his crew. While Keegan was outnumbered, the Ascension, armed with a mix of land strike and anti-ship tomahawk cruise missiles, including 2 fitted with W8 tactical nuclear warheads, had enough firepower at his disposal. Eventually, the Bostonions yielded and surrender was brokered. After being stationed in Boston for a time to ensure Bostonian loyalty, he was sent out on another patrol. Keegan spent the years when the Remnant reigned helping conduct brutal cruise missile strikes to halt the spread of infection and often, against civilians that the Remnant command considered enemies. This involved even a few tactical nuclear strikes against settlements who would not bend to Remnant authority. Slowly he was promoted through the ranks to Vice-Admiral doing his best to serve the Remnant in a Navy that was quickly disintegrating through desertion and lack of resupply. When the Remnant Navy largely disbanded, he was then tasked with hunting down and destroying deserter vessels scoring many successes and operating his submarine till the end of Remnant reign. Desperation near the Remnant's end led to even more vicious attacks from naval assets all ordered by Keegan. As time passed, the Remnant collapsed along with Keegan's purpose. He anchored the Ascension, less than a fourth of their missiles left.

The crew, knowing little about surviving in the postapocalyptic world eventually splintered away or were killed by the unforgiving environment. Only his XO's daughter remained which Keegan took responsibility for when the XO died in the first few days after abandoning the submarine they called home for many years. Keegan's name, as the most infamous Remnant war criminal for his ruthless measures, is still remembered by those old enough. Although he has kept in hiding since the Remnant collapse rumored to be dead and has since changed his appearance.

RP Examples: I was in the last one if you remember

Name: Rachel Sasaki
Nation Name: Laurvier
Birthplace: Seattle, WA
Ethnicity: Japanese/Caucasian
Age: 31
Pic/Description: 5'8", Slim, Athletic, Attractive, black hair cut short

Occupation: Remnant Cell Leader

Immunity: Full

(OPTIONAL)
Personality: Loyal, Devoted, Cunning, Tenacious,
Skills: Survival Skills, Knife Fighting, Combat, Salvaging, Basic First Aid, Diving, Submarine Systems/Naval Warfare
Likes:
Dislikes:
Fears:

Bio: As the infection spread throughout the United States, Sasaki was evacuated living with her father, the XO of the USS Ascension aboard the submarine. It was common at the time as many of the crew had taken their families on for their safety. Raised with Keegan's crew, she was groomed to eventually serve as an officer aboard the submarine due to the need of replacements and military personnel. Rachel was brought up learning Remnant dogma and becoming an excellent naval officer from Keegan and her father. Smart and quick to learn, at 13 she was already manning stations on the CIC. Such as a life was not meant to be as the crew eventually abandoned the Ascension after the Remnant collapse due to lack of supply. She went with Keegan and the survivors, salvaging what they could and moving from place to place until only her and Keegan were left. This meant gathering more Remnant loyalists and setting up cells. Like the others, Rachel had to learn how to live in the postapocalyptic world outside the safe confines of a submarine. In this she adapted well. Currently the two are wandering Colorado with lofty dreams of a United States resurgent.

We should put it in the lore that his cruise missile strikes took out sections Boston's defensive perimeter, allowing it to be overrun.

Why would he do that? How would he when he was sent away on another patrol?

Maybe he looted the armory at Charleston a few weeks before he abandoned the sub.

There's always the option of aerial resupply for food and spare parts. Just surface and then receive an air drop. There was also the option of scavenging what they could with shore parties from the coasts of the entire world given the operating range of a modern sub is virtually unlimited. I'd assume they had rearmed at least a few times before the Remnant Navy disbanded as well though I edited that most of their missiles had been spent by the time they abandoned the sub. Keep in mind they spent most of the time after the disbanding hunting and killing deserter vessels all over the world. I would say they got a few to surrender, commandeered their supplies then sunk them after. As for refueling, the nuclear reactors on modern submarines last a long time (very long).

Walle, to answer your question...Keegan was pretty gung ho about the Remnants and killing "traitors" if you remember. Also, he wouldn't have really needed to go back to Boston to hit it. Range of Tomahawks is over a thousand miles.

I think Dixie would've controlled it by then.

And they would've blown that sub out of the water if he threatened them.

Boston considered the same thing and Keegan was perfectly fine with that as long as he took them with him.
