Never read/seen it. I think bittersweet would be the best to hope for in most cases.

You haven't? You should pick it up. It's a good read, not too long either. Don't bother with the movie though, it's nothing like the book.

I plan on Wes having a bittersweet ending. He gets the girl, and they make it back home, but a new war is brewing. Against whom, absolutely no fucking clue yet. Maybe an existing faction, maybe a whole new one.

Bittersweet endings? Fuck that.

I helped build this little fucked up universe we're using, and goddamnit, my characters are going to suffer through it in the worst ways imaginable.

I mean, shit, I'm keeping Paulson's death down to a coin toss at this point.

While she had no regrets about throwing the lever to douse her husband's mistress in molten gold, Blanche did feel a pang of conscience for the innocent bystanders whose proximity had caused them to suffer gilt by association.

Cain is officially ome of my favorite fictional characters of all time. Inside and outside of NS. The voices in his head only add to it, if just for the hilarious dialogue between the two personalities.

Cain is the epitemy of a badass. If he wasn't a priest, he probably would have fucked his way around the South and then some.

I know. I try to make my characters talk like real people and he's just making all my work look like shit. Damnit, I did not create a post-apocalyptic warlord to be shown up by a sarcastic priest!

Just kidding, PLW. Love you.

I guess you need a sarcastic character now. Someone new, so no Sasquatch or Skeever. Some new asshole for us to love/hate.

I think being a sarcastic priest is what makes it all the better. It's like an oxymoron almost.

Sam had the whole helpless thing going on for her. Sera's just meh. Need her to come out of her shell somehow.

I don't care much for Cain as a character. Interesting but cliché. PLW is a good writer though.

Well, I was doing pretty well with the random bandit dialogue. Might need to bring that back.

And besides, Skeever doesn't talk. He's like a low-rent Gordon Freeman dressed like a Fallout fever dream.

Ill be honest, Richard was an idea I only recently came up with. I was writing the post and was inspired by how the gif affected the others. Wolfs made him savage, Jen's is making her almost get off on killing, or at the very least enjoy it. Then throw in a little bit of a man losing his mind and talking to things that rant there, (thanks whoever is in charge of that poor soul), but have a comedic take on it and BOOM! Cain and Richard. The dynamic duo. 8)
