UN summit,
General Assembly, New York

With all 193 member nations Invited, the New York summit played an important role in modern politics. The UN hoped to pass the summit without representatives beginning to fight each other, if it is with words or fists. But they could not be to optimistic, due to the conflict's occurring between member nations.

UN security guards stood firmly at the entrance, others standing around in the general assembly. Service staff placing water bottles at desks, making sure everything looks good.
The green light was finally given, and the UN summit opened their doors for the fellow representatives. UN General Secretary awaited patienly for the representatives, as he was supposed to open the summit. He took another sip of water, as the first representative entered:

The Norwegian ambassador Halvor Sætre stepped into the General Assembly. He moved over to his designated chair, sitting carefully down. He sorts his papers and puts them on his table. He begins reading them as he awaits the other representatives. Hopefully he could help create a more peaceful world. But you could never be sure in this shifting world.

Olof Skoog tried to hide his nervousness as he entered the assembly hall and took the seat reserved for the Swedish representative. He arranged his papers in a neat pile amd started drumming his fingers to the table in anticipation for the meeting to begin. He knew perfectly well that the fate of the world was to be decided today and he had spoken to the Secretary-General just yesterday, sharing his wish to prevent a global war.
Olof leaned back in his chair and started drumming at a heightened pace.

Mohammed Abdul was the north African ambassador to the U.N. As a young child he grew up in Saudi arabia. He was a rather shy kid, and he as able to see thingd more than others did. He noticed things others didn't. Right now he noticed the tension in the latvian's face and the nevousness in the swedish. He saw every emotion of each person here, even those who tried to hide it. Him. He was calm and ready for whatever the diplomats threw at him. He was armed, as always, with the knife his father gave to him

The General Secretary moved up towards the podium, escorted by a service staff, placing his notes in front of him. He takes a sip of his water, before speaking up;

"Dear representatives, ladies and gentlemen. We are gathered here today in effort to improve the modern world. We are here to spread peace, not violence. Safety, not insecurity. The world is changing rapidly, and we have to make sure that it goes in the right way. We will today ensure that peace is held, by any means necessary. We will speak, we will resolute, we will enforce, and we will fight. We will do whatever we have to protect civilians, groups, nations, ...humanity. I will now transfer the word over to you, fellow representatives. Thank you."

The General Secretary moved back to his seat, traditionally escorted by a security guard in his dress uniform. The guard hands back his notes, as the guard moves back to his position.
The President of the Assembly speaks up, announcing the next speaker:

Juan Delgado Morales, the Spanish ambassador to the UN, was sitting in his seat, sort of nervous and a bit shy, as usual. He was reading over proposals and security papers given to him from the Spanish government. While every other member was sitting down, and walking into the session, he was sitting there silently, while all of a sudden he forgot about turning his phone off, it goes off, and quick grabs it, and puts it on silent. Then he noticed the tension on every ambassadors face. He said to him self "Dios, ayudame." or "God, help me."

President Rand Paul rather boldly walks up to the stage and says to the General Secretary "Thank you, I'll be the next speaker. Alright, gentlemen! I would like to discuss with you all about Spain's recent invasions of Italy and France. Now I'm all about stopping imperialism and preserving freedom, but I also would like to aim for peace. The main question is what can we do to stop Spanish the military occupation of Nord Catalunya and Southern Sicily while preferably preserving peace?"

Ambassador Mohammed Abdul speaks up. "The official stance of the honorable President and leaders of North Africa is the condemnation of Spain's imperialist ambitions and invasions of Italy and France as well as their refusal to give Catalonia a democratic referendum."
He looks over at the Spanish diplomat, and sits down.

the Rhodesian Ambassador to the united nations Christopher Wells spoke up on behalf of his homeland telling his fellow ambassadors from around the world

"my up most concern isn't a Spanish Invasion of North Africa or Southern Italy my concern is that hypocrisy has not only permitted Germany to get away with its ill gotten games but it has allowed Germany to jeopardize world peace and therefore I need remind every nation who wants peace desperately should this aggression be allowed to continue any longer the consequences will be dire to the point of no return with that having been said I would like to ask those nations in the General assembly to take a vote on whether or not Germany should be expelled from the U.N. for disturbing world peace in Europe".

Thank you!

"A Spanish invasion of North Africa. Pft. Try as they might, but Spain has its own problems as is. They are fighting Germany, France, and Italy. All three are much more powerful than they are. As is North Africa. We have a larger, more stable economy. Bigger, better weaponry. Everything. Plus, they have internal problems with Catalonia. And do not forget whom has the nuclear weaponry."

President Nicolás Maduro of Venezuela took the time to reply the issue. (In spanish with translation available)

"Spain, its government to be exact, has violated several international treaties. The UN has to make up for its lost prestige and work for the future of our world. Spain needs to cease its agression once and for all. The same applies for Germany. My fellow representatives and leaders, human beings all, the Spanish Government and the German Government must stand down from their places and call for elections. Their territories may need to be occupied by blue helmets, and their military give up all its weaponry for the time being. Venezuela´s main concearn is the near-fascist Spanish State, and that is why I would like to push forward the following resolution."

There is much talk within the representatives of UNASUR. With an obvious massive support for Maduro´s proposal, the ALBA countries and those that votes for it consider changing it, adding further sanctions. However those nations that voted against prepare their interventions in order to convince some nations to vote against, and probably force the Assembly to further discuss it.

Rafael Santos is the first to make the stand. (Spanish translated to english)

"It is obvious Spain needs to be sanctioned in order to secure peace. However, dear delegates, lets not forget what happened in Versalles. We must be careful not to cause a nationalist wave that could lead Europe into Chaos. Already Germany is involved, and Germany has a financial strenght that could lead to a long and bloody conflict. Let´s seek out sanctions that actually ensure peace. Closing companies that are related to the leaders of the PSOE would affect these people, but also leave thousands without jobs, and a military blockade of Gibraltar would only be possible with NATO´s full support, and I dare presume Mr. Maduro would rather have other countries enforcing peace, other than NATO.

Furthermore. These sanctions could encourage a nationalism we South Americans are used to, the Populist Nationalism grows fertile in the soil of a defeated regime. PODEMOS would quickly rise to power, something Mr. Maduro undoubtly wants. This list of sanctions seems to be close to an actual agenda and not the pursue of peace. The financial situation of Spain would become umb..."

Close to him, David Cochehuanca interrupts in spanish "No sea ridiculo, Sr. presidente, déjese de conspiraciones!" He then follows in a spanish tat manages to be translated into english:

"Spanish agression resembles the terrible agression our Grand Nation suffered 500 years ago. It led not only to the massacre of the natives in our continent, but also to 500 years of domination of european institutions and plunder of our natureal resources. The scars the Visigoths can cause across the world will run deep and take time to heal, if they heal at all. It seems to me that the spanyards are now wearing their Conquistador caps and wish to restore their hegemony of servitude and enslavement, this time in Europe itself."

Heraldo Muñoz intervenes on Chilean behalf. "And how does the Chancellor thinks the sixth point. How can a nation be forced to give up its territories in good faith over a decade? It seems ridiculous to me, not too far from the Bolivian plea to the Inter..."

The ALBA delegates interrupt in screams of protest, as the Chilean chancellor was introducing a opic unrelated, though in the bottom it could be related. The UNASUR delegates take about a minute to shut up.

Rand Paul takes a sip of coffee before nonchalantly announcing "Yup, I agree to that proposition. We can surely get Spain to comply if we attack their international trade like this." He takes another sip of coffee before sitting back down.
