The Chinese ultimatum, has alarmed colonial authorities, however the Portuguese knew that the Chinese army is very outdated, and relies on sheer numbers to win the battle. The Portuguese judged that the time of the attack will come at night where they will not get sliced up by British aircraft. The Portuguese planned their defense accordingly. To win the Portuguese must be victorious in a preemptive strike on Chinese positions, with British support. The attack must be made at dawn so the aircraft can have the most effect. The Portuguese also detirmined the best invasion date. July 24th, a time where the Chinese would be mostly amassed, but will not expect a sudden assault. Macau soon became the number 1 spot for new tanks, and aircraft.

Your post is ridiculous. The Chinese navy is inferior to The Royal Navy. Do you honestly think that the British would let China blockade Hong Kong? No. The British already had several naval fleets in Hong Kong; so they sent some reinforcements. I was already preparing to defend Hong Kong long before your post. I just have been very busy this week, so I didn't get to post until now. You are godmodding by saying that you have blockaded both Hong Kong and Macau. You never even made a post saying that your navy arrived in Hong Kong waters. You jusr said that you were sending them there, which does not say when they arrived there.

He has never said when his troops arrived in the area though. So since his troops technically have not arrived there yet, he is nof blockading the area.

Loose: Same as close blockade, but you are above the horizon.
