History:
Norway's history begins with the dissolution of the union between the kingdoms of Norway and Sweden, which was set in motion by a resolution of the Norwegian Parliament (the Storting), under the House of Bernadotte, on 7 June 1955. Following some months of tension and fear of war between the neighbouring nations, negotiations between the two governments led to Sweden's recognition of Norway as an independent constitutional monarchy on 26 October 1955. (Hope that is okay). Further the nation has stayed neutral in conflicts. It is a proud member of both UN and NATO, and stays at their side. Speculation of oil in the North Sea has just begun, sea mapping bound to begin in 1962.

You can be Israel, but you only have Israel and Palestine and you have a real-life leader. No fascism or dictatorship, but you can start to become more authoritarian and become good allies with South Africa, (In real life, that happened and Israel and South Africa developed nukes, chemical and biological weapons together.)

Or you could be Iceland or Denmark (if he would agree to giving up Denmark, which is likely.) I have Iceland at the moment, and I would be more than happy to give it independence and let you play as Iceland.

Although made up both of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, the new, single states is collectively known as Turkmenistan, as Turkmenistanian parliament is the current diplomatic system used.

Since unification, much of eastern Turkmenistan has been transformed into oil and coal mines; collecting much of the untapped underground resources; making the new state an immensely important and subsequently influential Soviet asset.
