Meherghh.
Just grow fancy food or some shit, you'd be able to sell the seeds and the produce to the natives and trade back fancy shit which you could then sell onto the British. IIRC that was basically what happened IRL.

You literally are not allowed to help him.
Do you understand how peace treaties work? And how economies work? You try and help the Pope, Austria collapses.

Boers can't into diamonds? *looks dejected* Fine. Can I at least say my surveying team found some less valuable minerals like coal or iron?Liecthenbourg wrote:GENOCIDE EVERYTHING.

Don't worry. Finding diamonds and gold was the worst thing to happen to the Boers. Ever.
For all other players: I hear of funerals. Could I send a delegation?

Have you ever played a gave of Europa Universallis IV? Victoria II? If you have, this explanation will make more sense.
Peace treaties tend to last more than a year and a half, if it has even been that long. Our war ended in 1851. We signed a peace treaty then. I told you before you even applied that Sardinia and France kicked your ass pretty hard. What does that mean? Your army is broken and suffering from a pretty severe loss. Your economy is suffering from the cost of losing a war and the subsequent valuable lands I took from you. You declare war on me and break the peace treaty, what happens? One, your stability flies out the window and no longer exists. What happens when stability in Austria goes away? All of the unhappy, angry minorities that live in everywhere but Austria revolt and the Austrian Empire collapses. Also, I doubt the Austrians can afford to pay for an all out war with the NCI and France, considering you just got rekt less than two years ago. Wars are expensive, they cost money and lives. You lost plenty of them.
That is just one penalty you face. The other? Well, do you know what infamy is? Breaking peace treaties not only causes you to lose stability, but also ruins your credibility as a nation. What does this mean? Every nation you have signed an alliance with, that borders you, or is in Europe/the region will hate you. Why? You have proven they cannot trust your word. You have also proven that you are willing to violate your word in order to expand your borders, and most people - especially your allies - don't like that.
For a war to happen between the NIC and Austria, I have to consent to it. I am not consenting to this war on these grounds. Why? It is unrealistic. My reasons for the lack of realism are above. Declaring war on me is pretty much fail rping as well. You applied for Austria with the knowledge of the situation as well. I literally told you that we cannot go to war with one another.

A total and complete agreement with the aforementioned points.
Any Austro-Italian wars are gonna have to wait.

A) No, I have played some Total War games but that is it
B) I thought the war was in the mid 1840's, sorry
C) Peace treaties were broken quite a lot so I do not think that aspect would damage me but I do see your point about the economy etc. I am not ready for a lager war yet.
D) Sorry Popey, no war at the moment.
