Seattle, Washington
President Stoudt entered the meeting room for the Seattle Conference. Meeting with the leader of the Soviet Union and an ambassador for China, Stoudt was determined to work out a deal between, arguably, the three most powerful countries in the Pacific region. With a frightful economic situation on the horizon, Stoudt had promised the members of his administration to not leave this meeting empty handed. He asked his assistant to set the table with three glasses of water on the different sides of the black granite table. Stoudt chose the side which was opposite of the empty side, to the right and left were the seats of the Chinese and Soviet diplomats. In the middle was a small black cup with the flags of the Soviet Union, China, and the United States. Taking a sip of water, Stoudt waited for his guests to arrive.
