They say that in the great wars of NS Summer, there was one who did not fight with blood, but with iron. They named this one the Master of Tanks, and the thunderous sound of cannon and the rattling of machine guns could be heard far and wide, the crossroads before the capital of CotM being defended by this valiant one until it stood alone. Shitposters layed in droves, and entire army having been slain by the might of Sonitusia, Master of Tanks, Commandant of Iron, and Slinger of Shells.

As the door opened, a voice began to speak from above. "Door opening. Manual override detected. Door opening. Manual override detected. Door opening... It continued until the door was finally opened completely. "That took way too long to open." Meravynn spoke. "Either way, let's find out what's behind that shoddy door!" The Nisse took several steps forward, DMR clutched to her chest, the flashlight now hanging from her belt. She took a deep breath, and took a step inside. And another one. "Welcome to Research Facility 39A. Please remember the security protocols." the voice said. At once, bright lights were turned on, revealing a long hallway, the ceiling high and the walls of the same color as the one holding the door, a large opening visible at the end of the hall.
"Whoa."

The Nisse uncocked her revolver (conveniently hanging right next to where she had been hit), tightened her grip, and aimed for the Dwarf's head, unbeknownst to him. Her finger went for the trigger and... she decided against it. Wouldn't be much use in starting to shoot people now, she decided in a short moment of clarity.
While still angry, she decided against doing anything - for now - and stepped forward holding both of her weapons, one in each hand. "Aye, let's see what we find..." She stepped through the opening at the end of the hallway, and like before lights switched on, revealing a large circular room. The Nisse looked around. Computers of some kind at the center, and something in the walls... The walls. Metal. The Nisse carefully walked closer, more lights switching on - this time revealing what the metal was.
"Warmind." she spoke. "Inactive..."

Question was why they made it stink so bad, the stench of the Aether, when, as her grandmother told her, when humans think they can control the Aether, rather than call towards it. It was the only think she remembered of grandmother. she didn't live long, it was a fleeting memory from her childhood, but it stuck.
The ancient warmind, was mysterious, yes. She looked at it quickly, but it was their only clue. "alright tinker, since you can start these better than me apparently," she said with her ego showing slightly, "turn it up. See if you can call his memory cores, especially. This thing has better knowledge of the **** that happened here. Better than bat-crazy hobo back on the surface."

For a minute, nothing happened, the Nisse growing slightly impatient, until it suddenly jerked upwards. "Unit activated." The Warmind stood straight now, and took a step forward, towards Galen and Meravynn... and it fell on the ground, lifeless. "Memory core empty. Shutting down." Meravynn watched as the thing fell right in front of her boots. "Well then, that was that..."
