Earth
The year is 1969. America is on the edge of a corporate boom, with companies making millions and billions selling everyday products, while monopolies play their strategic games on the oil market. America has landed on the Moon and 'won' the space race. Meanwhile, The USSR, Eastern Europe, Cuba, and China are enveloped in the folds of failed communist governments. As half the world crumbles and the other half prospers, something watches. Something otherworldly.
The Oort Cloud
After years of traveling across vast stretches of empty void, they had reached their next target. The Reptoids had finally entered the system of Sol. Their massive, moon-sized battlecruiser moved forward in a cold silence, parting the sea of comets and dust. Their mission: Conquer. Their target: Earth.
The Rings of Saturn
Space is cold, bleak. But it can be beautiful. For example: The Rings of Saturn. The most beautiful set of objects short of the Polaran Dancing Nebulae. But beauty can be terrifying. It can house dark secrets. For example: The fleet Grey Orbiters hiding behind the Rings. More than ten thousand city-sized disks, housing thousands of Greys and unimaginable weaponry. The Greys, the more violent variant of the Grays, had observed Humanity since someone struck two rocks together and gave birth to the spark of invention. Now was their time. The race had become spacefaring, recently landing on the sole moon of their home planet. It was time to achieve the centuries-long goals of the Greys. Their species had been plagued by a severe disease for generations, and the only cure lay within the human race- their organs could be harvested in ways unique in this galaxy, in ways that could bare cures and vaccines. There was a slight problem, though: The humans died in the operations, and the Greys needed nearly five billion adult humans to fully cure their race.
