Meanwhile, my tech level (I'm working on getting everything working as a continuity before posting it into my factbook) is going to be extreme FT, with gravity manipulation and control of wormholes being the prime methods of movement for spacecraft.

Seriously... right above you. This is not the place for your discussion on tech levels. Take it to II or TGs, that's where it belongs. :/

I tend to join mid-RP when it's nothing but casul talking. It may not work for some, but to some it works.
Also, I want Arvena to fight Ulfric now.....

Actually, casual random off-topicness if the first sign of death for RPs. OOC threads aren't for your friendly chit-chatting, its for discussion and planning about the RP.
Most people, the overwhelming majority, would see casual talking about whatever, and start to wonder immediately if its actually still alive. Lots of activity is good, as long as its on topic, because off topic signifies death.
I have joined numerous RPs mid-way in. Almost none of them had off-topic issues. And, when they died? The OOC was used as a casual chat thread until everyone realized "Shit... its dead." and left. Just saying.
Also, i have to pick teachers. Just remembered that. Not sure who to go with for combat. :/

Well, not necessarily, I mean, I've joined an RP that has gone on for several pages but it wasn't completely on thread. I mean, just yesterday we had a conversation about where would Cthulhu come up first and who would he render crazy first, and we actually had a discussion about whether or not he would spawn in the Indian Ocean or in the South pacific Ocean. Of course, we go off topic a lot, but that doesn't necessarily mean death for every RP.
Also, obligatory.
Cthulhu F'taghn.

I said it was a sign of death. It also serves the purpose of irritating me immensely because spam is annoying as fuck. I don't like it in my emails. I don't like it in RPs, either. And it happens to be a labeled rule of the forums, so the law has my back.
That's enough of that conversation now, because there is no defense to it, death it causes or not, its still spammy as hell, and my fuse to it is sadly quite short.
I'm thinking maybe the viking guy... of course, Lyras can also have two swords as well...
Halp. I need halp. I cannot make a goddamn decision, dammit. Send support immediately.

I would compare him to, say, an Abrams. It moves pretty fast, laughs at 95% of the hits it takes, and then hits back even harder. Lyras is a tank if there ever was one in Remnant lol.
Or, let me describe it this way. He's like Pyrrha, except that he will take a shitton more damage before going down. Remembering that lik Pyrrha, alot of it will be blocked XD

Tanky, but also extremely fast and mobile. Hence double swords as well.
Although frankly, im not TOO worried about combat. He's already pretty fucking good at that. Seriously, if you can get compared to Pyrrha rather favorably, you're already good
But he can't use his aura very well. Which is kind of, like, a problem.

I can't wait for Lyras to fight... anyone.
*gets him down to 30% aura first time* Yin and Yang kicks in *Is back up to 60% aura, takes longer to bring it down*
*Gets him down to ten percent* Singularity kicks in. *Aura supercharges in beserk mode to 100%*

Is how it will go. Yes, the aura or 'health' regen comes from his aura actually being strengthened each time by the conflict within him being circumnavigated. Which is why each stage actually regenerates, because there's more available now
